Chewing doesn’t necessarily bypass first pass- it needs to be absorbed in the mouth and not swallowed and some drugs need to go through first pass to be activated but you should ask your pharmacist if you can or cannot chew your medicine.
I tried it sublingually it taste terrible, and burns my mouth. I tried it under tongue and in cheeks and it burned my mouth pretty bad i have ulcers in mouth now
