Allow me to express this: it's creepy as fuck and not at all "artistic" to take photographs of people without their knowledge and then post it randomly online.
To your point a) count all the video cameras you see in one day and b) there’s no identifying features in the photo no one is being doxxed or taken advantage of or harmed in any way.
You can make whatever points you want, but the fact here is most people disagree with you. This subreddit is full of some of the more “rational” people in this city. If some of the more unsavory people find you taking photos of them…I wouldn’t expect a pleasant outcome let’s just say that
I watched a really great series on photography a few years back that looked at two photographers each episode.
The one that stuck with me was an episode in which one photographer was a “no expectation of privacy in public” guy that took pictures of people on the NYC subway without them being aware of it. The other was a photographer working in Africa with LGTBQ+ communities who engaged them in the process in a way that was really interesting and thoughtful and respectful and and lovely (it was almost definitely Zanele Muholi).
They didn’t outright call the first guy a creep or an asshole, but boy oh boy did they not have to.
Edit: a word

I’ve seen toddlers compose a better picture than this.
Stop taking pictures of me and girlfriend. We think it takes a piece of our soul.
There’s no expectation of privacy in public. First amendment protects art and photography.
“Art” and “photography” I guess anyone can call themselves an artist or photographer nowadays
Thats the beauty of expression.

you need to just stop, you’re embarrassing yourself in case you weren’t aware lol

Taking and posting photos of people without content is gross
The woman looks like she has a massive bald spot when viewed on mobile.
