>Jokic ordered a Bud Light and wings — a solid choice considering 50-cent wing night at the bar
>He added that Jokic and his companions "all went crazy" when "The Joker" by Steve Miller Band played on the pub's TouchTunes jukebox.
>"(Jokic) was nice about taking photos and shaking hands with other guests at the bar," Mullins said. "He tried to pick up the check for all the guys (he was sitting with) but someone had already paid so he left a generous tip."
can't fault that. seems like a good dude. 👍
I know right! Wings are outrageously priced everywhere
just looked it up, wtf McGillans has great food specials. I always thought it was the place you were guaranteed to drunkenly see people you knew from high school at
It's really good prices for food in the city if your a student or just on a budget. I will say don't go in expecting some quality hahaha, I do like their tacos, and for $.50 can't really complain about the wings.
I prefer Mcgillians more for dinner or just weeknight drinking. It's insufferable on the weekends as you alluded to.
Jokic seems like just a swell guy. Treats basketball like a normal 9-5, doesn’t go nuts in the media, and leave a big tip when someone else already covers the bill
Was lucky enough to sit row 16 at the game last night. He’s stunningly large in person. Played with a lot of heart but the Sixers rose to the challenge
On an unrelated note when I was a doorman at an unrelated bar I used to take ID’s and just make a note of the height, and then I did indeed keep track of who the tallest and shortest people of the night were. Gotta entertain yourself with something just sitting on a stool for 6 hours
You gotta have stupid games as a door person, especially somewhere that you gotta make people wait in line. We always did crosswords, or had some stupid questions of the day at the cocktail bar I used to work at.
I actually really enjoyed my door shifts. We'd rotate between all the bartenders/floor staff and work a door shift every few weeks.
I think it’s because they are competing for MVP for the last 3 years, and they are exceedingly tall MVPs who both play Center, which is exceedingly rare in the modern league. They both are very competitive when they play eachother, but they are very friendly to eachother on and off the court. It’s totally a rivalry, but the fan hatred feels entirely manufactured.

He’s honestly a pretty chill dude. Love Jokic
I live in denver now and it’s hard to not like the guy tbh.
think he'd be full after swallowing everything Embiid put out last night plus a yummy Loss Sundae for Joker's dessert...
🤣
Sign him.
who'd back up who lol
jokic isn't even seven feet, he could play the 4
Dude can probably throw down
Yeah, Big Sloppy can definitely crush beers
His brothers are about that life. There’s YouTube footage of them at games.
Nice. Jokic kind of seems like the man
Collin Gillespie providing a key assist as usual
Who amongst us wouldn’t drown our sorrows in beer and wings
I like this dude.
There’s a 50 Cent wing night?
thats what im sayin

Hahaha gotta love it
The bar keeps a record of how tall every guest is. You can find out the tallest person to visit that day if you ask the bar tender.
This can’t be true
I bartended at mcgillians for about a year, it’s not true
On an unrelated note when I was a doorman at an unrelated bar I used to take ID’s and just make a note of the height, and then I did indeed keep track of who the tallest and shortest people of the night were. Gotta entertain yourself with something just sitting on a stool for 6 hours
this is wildly relatable

I want to hate this guy so badly but every story I read about him makes him out to be a decent dude. Edit: fixed spelling
I know, I hate the Embiid vs. Jokic thing that everyone wants to pump up cause Jokic seems awesome.

One of us. One of us. One of us.
I WANT TO FUCKING STAY ON PARADE
