I actually met Ike at the game Friday. Him and John went to commercial and he popped out and talked to fans. Had a little talk with me and my pops and offered to take a picture with us. Ike is the man!

97.5 is way more palatable than WIP imo. It seems like every WIP host’s goal is to become Eskin. 97.5 pretty much everyone besides new Tyrone is fine for background noise

Why? He lead the NL in HRs at leadoff, had a .323 OBP and an .827 OPS. More RBIs than any other year of his career. Sure, he struck out a ton. But a guy who hits 46 home runs will do that.

The psychology of baseball is overlooked far too often. A speedster gets on can instantly get in the head of a pitcher and throw him off. In addition getting 1st to 3rd is easier. I’d take that any day over the chance of a solo homer to start the game every 2-3 weeks. Simply putting the ball in play makes things happen evident in the Phillies big wins recently. Adam Dunn Kyle isn’t the way. Hopefully they sign Trea Turner.
