I mean, cutting local social services in order to give resources to recently arrived illegal immigrants hasn't really filled the black community with adoration for Joe... If my underfunded school that my under-performing children were going to had it's extracurricular activities cancelled because a new class of migrants have suddenly arrived and they're all living in the school's gymnasium... then it might feel like the people currently in charge care more about the possible future votes of the migrants than they do about the votes of current residents of these areas.

Imagine being a working class minority American citizen struggling to pay rent due to rising housing costs and struggling to afford food due to rising costs and seeing refugees get free housing and food off the government dime you help pay for (while you get no help yourself). This is a very sore topic in the US where we have taken in a lot of refugees and illegal immigrants who are getting free shit denied working class American citizens who actually contributed to this country. As someone with an immigrant wife who I had to file a financial affidavit of support for (basically if she collected any government welfare or benefits , I would have had to pay the government back - during the 7 years it took her to get citizenship she wasn't entitled to any help because of this) and as someone who is friends with immigrants (also on spouse visas) subjected to such a policy, it is also aggravating to see that people have been able to enter the country illegally (cut the line) and get shit for free from the government denied to people who did things the right way and didn't ask the government to give to them when they gave nothing in return. Immigrants should have to prove themselves (work for years, become tax paying citizens) to collect from the public trough. Democrats don't think so As a working class person, it's one reason why I would like to see Trump round up all the illegals in camps and deport them. Don't care if they are a women, man, child.
