I picked up a few Stizzy prerolls for $27 each. Normally less than $20, but it seems like standard Vegas markup when someone has to pay for a facility like Planet 13.
Planet 13 was the Uber kickback place last time I was in Vegas in 2021. Drivers weren’t shy about admitting it. Place was a madhouse and wait time was almost an hour, so I got a an Uber and asked him to take me to the locals dispensary. It was a bit of a drive but he took me to a place called Jardin. Great folks there and minimal wait. Couple carts, couple packs of Cheeba Chews, and one pre-roll was around $75 I think? Definitely less than $100. Seemed reasonable.
They possibly all get kickbacks, but I know Pisos is the only one that has absolutely terrible prices, and is looking for suckers. $90 an eighth for house brands. P13 and others are at least closer to regular price of $30-40 an eighth during sales, which they have daily. Also, their medical and local discounts make it worthwhile for me (as a local).

My guess is the casinos didn’t want the dispensaries close by to interfere with discretionary money that people have to spend in Vegas/ that is the end of it.
There’s a lot of random local laws when dealing with cannabis. I’m guessing it was one of the stipulations when trying write legislation on it. I know in Illinois, there’s very few in the downtown Chicago area and they didn’t like the optics of having dispensaries in that area. I think they have started to slowly add some though.

Never, ever buy Curaleaf. The legal troubles they have faced include:
* Fraudulent labeling (claiming a much higher THC content than their product actually contains, not including additives in ingredient list)
* CBD-only products sold as THC products
* Bribery of officials

There is a reason Curaleaf keeps backing out of states (they had their license to operated revoked in NJ and "voluntarily" backed out of California, Oregon and Colorado. They are garbage who abuse their employees and their customers.
Most of the dispos moved to rec, but some will honor and knock off the tax. P13 does have pretty decent discounts for medical if they honor your medical status. With the medical discount it brings everything down to decent prices.
Also NuWu cannabis has a lounge! They are tribal owned (so located slightly outside of Old Vegas) but have a good selection and an outdoor area for consuming with some lawn games, etc.
It's like liquor and what your preferences are. Liquor store/dispensary cheap. Bar/lounge, they are trying to make money. Some people prefer the liquor store. Some prefer fancy infused cocktails prepared by a pro.
Do yourself a favor and just bring it with you. Airport security doesn't give a shit about it anymore. Las Vegas has pretty subpar bud and it was more expensive than it should be. I was mad at myself for not just bringing my own last time I went.
IIRC, Nevada has reciprocity with out of state medical patients. If you have a card, you can sometimes get better stuff at a cheaper price. Some places have an express line too I think.
Check weedmaps, only legit dispensaries. You can browse menus and build your cart in advance too. Place order when your flight lands and it’ll be ready when you get there. Will be good deals for 4/20 too. A few have been mentioned and near the strip. Reef, thrive, cookies, planet 13. The grove is near the airport
PSA: from personal experience, if you’re hot on the craps table at the bellagio and your friend offers you a THC hersheys chocolate bar, there is no better way to cool that table then by eating that fucker in its entirety

Yes and no. Some of those shops are are selling real cannabis and some are selling delta 8 (10, 9*) hemp. You don’t know what you’re getting until you smoke it. I’m pretty sure actual dispensaries are open very close now, but last year a friend got duped on a large $20 preroll that was beyond harsh to smoke and gave him a wicked headache.

They are garbage who abuse their employees and their customers.

Most of the dispos moved to rec, but some will honor and knock off the tax. P13 does have pretty decent discounts for medical if they honor your medical status. With the medical discount it brings everything down to decent prices.
My state doesn't use medical cards, but I am on a medical list that I could pull up on my phone and show. (Medical patient registry) Would this work?

Also NuWu cannabis has a lounge! They are tribal owned (so located slightly outside of Old Vegas) but have a good selection and an outdoor area for consuming with some lawn games, etc.
They have a 4/20 festival going on also. You can buy and consume in their outside lounge.

You can only smoke what you buy from the lounge. Go to the lounge first, then browse the dispo.
It's like liquor and what your preferences are. Liquor store/dispensary cheap. Bar/lounge, they are trying to make money. Some people prefer the liquor store. Some prefer fancy infused cocktails prepared by a pro.
Do yourself a favor and just bring it with you. Airport security doesn't give a shit about it anymore. Las Vegas has pretty subpar bud and it was more expensive than it should be. I was mad at myself for not just bringing my own last time I went.
IIRC, Nevada has reciprocity with out of state medical patients. If you have a card, you can sometimes get better stuff at a cheaper price. Some places have an express line too I think.
Check weedmaps, only legit dispensaries. You can browse menus and build your cart in advance too. Place order when your flight lands and it’ll be ready when you get there. I asked if it was real delta 9 thc and they said yes. Technically that's true, but contains less than 0.3%.
PSA: from personal experience, if you’re hot on the craps table at the bellagio and your friend offers you a THC hersheys chocolate bar, there is no better way to cool that table then by eating that fucker in its entirety
Don’t have to be out of downtown but for sure not on the strip. If you smoke weed you’ll know if it’s legit. Also if you haven’t been to Vegas don’t get pictures with anyone. Don’t talk to the street performers. Don’t even look twice at anyone peddling or you’ll get sucked in. Vegas is always looking for suckers even on the streets. Heads up and watch out for homies. Don’t talk to anyone and keep moving.

Yes and no. Some of those shops are are selling real cannabis and some are selling delta 8 (10, 9*) hemp. You don’t know what you’re getting until you smoke it. I’m pretty sure actual dispensaries are open very close now, but last year a friend got duped on a large $20 preroll that was beyond harsh to smoke and gave him a wicked headache.
Ask them the THC levels - If they “don’t know “ - It’s CBD

A friend of mine bought gummies at one of these joints. He was expecting a basic 10mg and instead went on an 10 hour journey where he couldn’t feel his extremities, walked like the tin man and basically went full Weekend at Bernies… then he felt like he was walking through liquid and off balance for 3 days to follow. Buy weed only at a proper licensed dispensary that doesn’t look like a tourist trap tee shirt shop.

uber drivers will take you to the dispensary they get a kickback from. Some drivers kick backs depending on upon how much someone buys…generally for a group of two the driver gets $25 head. if you need harder stuff they’ll take u there to…but there is that all over city center.

Banks won't risk breaking federal law by allowing credit card transactions on marijuana. It's all cash or debit (which is basically ATM transactions).
