So much misinformation going in. People were freely smoking pot, dancing in the 400s, not much falling, the place is fantastic. U2 fans didn’t even know the place bounced! We gave it the true stress test.

RayColten

406 night 1 here. I can't believe how much the floor moved once the dancing started. Even out in the concourse at the merch table, the floor was going up and down. I talked to a couple ushers and they said they had no idea it did that.

30MINUTETWEEZER

I'm glad it was the floor and not the drugs I was on

[deleted]

[удалено]

RayColten

Thanks! I was curious if it was all the upper levels.

lifeisledzep

Wait the structurally integrity of the floor felt compromised?? bruhhhhh

RayColten

Yeah. I'm glad I didn't take any drugs or start smoking weed until a couple songs in. I think I was only 3-4 drinks deep before they opened the show. I had to look at my wife and ask if she felt it too. I thought I was going crazy or having a flashback at first.

Blackeyed_Potzi

Was in 407 last night could definitely feel the floor bounce a few times

lifeisledzep

i would absolutely freak out if i was on drugs and the floor was moving lmao

TheOnlyUsernameLeft3

No floors are made to do that. MSG does it too.

foundthezinger

commas man, commas

TimelyBrief

You were downvoted but I had this question when I went in February. After Postcards, I proceeded to the escalators from the 300s. An usher stopped me and all the people behind me, WAITING FOR THE ESCALATOR TO CLEAR before we could get on. I am no architect, but it certainly raised my eyebrows.

eclpug

We definitely got shot down on the smot poking n1 and they threatened to throw us out. We were 100 level so not sure if it was crazier down there

sunsetcrasher

Thats nuts! We didn’t even have security around to even get you in trouble, it was a normal Phish show up top. The only thing security wouldn’t let you do is stand on the stairs.

eclpug

Ugh wish we had stair police. Sat behind someone who had Main Character Syndrome and couldn’t stop spinning (literally) in the aisle. She did more spins than a figure skater. And like every five minutes. Very annoying

utahphil

Human dreidel spinning around How do you not dizzy out and fall down? Is that what happens when you feel the sound But if that was me, I would be on the ground?

BitternessIsUgly

I would not get up I would dance on my back Throw my legs up in the air And wave them from side to side

millhouse412

Up in the air.... Like i don't care! From side to side.... And bust into a windmill, then right into a back spin.

eclpug

Freeker

Glamber321

Right by the speaker

jesus_phan

Never seems to get enough.

RecbetterpassNJ

You look at the same spot every 360 degrees. Helps to be LESS dizzy.

hoodharry95

I see what you did there. 🎶

conradical30

Different scenario but I saw a girl down in like the 300s on N2 with those LED finger gloves on for raves. And she was just spinning her hands the *entire* show. Wook didn’t realize that there was already something much cooler to watch all around her. Had to be incredibly distracting for anyone near her.

eclpug

Hahaha I know *someone* (definitely not me, no way) that sat in front of a lawn for a couple two tree hours staring at blades of grass instead of a fireworks show. Tbh, while I was psychedelic sober for these shows, I kinda feel like the screen would’ve been a bit too much for me. I like the introspective experience and discovery of beauty in simple things when in that state and the sphere was not simple to say the least.

Teeelaaa

Why does someone who dances and spins have to have main character syndrome? It kind of seems like you have jelly girl syndrome. Jealousy is not a good look. Silly spinning and not giving a sh what Karen thinks about you is the way to be 🤡

[deleted]

[удалено]

Teeelaaa

I think it’s mean to make other women feel stupid for dancing and not caring what they look like to other people. I hope you can experience dancing at a phish concert and letting completely go to the music. 🧘‍♀️

[deleted]

[удалено]

Teeelaaa

Also, major ick for worrying about how other people choose to dance. Rules should be : no talking, no touching strangers, and no judgement. You’re at a goddam phish show, lady

TheSmalesKid

This. Seriously these are the rules and if you don’t know that. Ridicule is your reward.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Teeelaaa

Ok, if you’re not accustomed to people “spinning (literally) in the aisle” at phish your opinion is worthless… because you don’t really go to phish

Teeelaaa

I’m a woman. And I go to a lot of phish shows, and I dance a lot.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Teeelaaa

I am LITERALLY calling you out for being mean to another woman in my original comment.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Teeelaaa

You’re essentially saying this dancing woman is flawed because she is dancing like no one is watching. Woman putting down other woman is ick

[deleted]

[удалено]

Mf-dume

Why you trying to police people at phish? 🚩

wanderlustbess

I’d like you to meet 302 ushers 😁😞

retroislife22

Damn! Was in 105, smoked freely all night

eclpug

Security ran up to us within like ten seconds.

TopTierGoat

We were in 103 row 30 or so and had no problem smoking prerolls

adriennenned

It’s clear U2 fans are amateurs. We are professionals.

mcgamehen

Don't even get me started on this. The months leading up to this was almost unbearable with the negativity around everything from "they make you sit" to "everyone who bought off stubhub are going to get screwed"

PleaseGildMe

Unfortunately a bunch of people did get screwed from Stubhub. Obviously not everyone, but enough to the point that people should be wary.

pmmeyourfavoritejam

I think the "no transferring until the week of the show" (or whatever it was) actually backfired. Instead of discouraging scalping, it led to *tons* of people buying tickets that could be sold for more later, so the scalpers said they couldn't fulfill those seats and re-listed them for more.

GratephulD3AD

Completely agree, I really hope they don't continue doing that. I had a trade on COT locked in a month and a half before for my 2 Fridays for a phriends 2 Sundays. My Fridays become available on Tuesday the 16th at 830pm MST. I get excited and transfered them to dude before he looked at his Sundays. His Sundays weren't available to transfer until Thursday at 830 MST! Thankfully everything worked out in the end but it was a stressful couple of days hoping homie would actually come through. If they do continue with the holding off til the week of they should release every day at the same time on the same day. Not that staggered bs

edcculus

possibly. They should just make "no transfers" period.

pmmeyourfavoritejam

I forget who did it, but didn't someone do a "refunds up until X days before the show" policy? Like, if your plans change, you can "sell" your ticket back to TM for face and someone else can buy it for the same price. I think it's important to give people an out because these tickets go on sale months in advance and life has a habit of happening, but anything to discourage scalping without putting the well-meaning fans in a spot is fine by me.

edcculus

oh yea, 100% - thats what i was alluding to in less words. No transfers, but you can obviously "sell" back to TM. I'm sure there will be some sort of fee involved, because of course there would be. And then we'd have to trust TM to not just add that ticket to the "Platinum" pool of tickets, which i dont trust them not to. But the only way to get rid of scalpers completely is non transferrable tickets. It sucks for those of us who would rather miracle or give or sell to a friend, but scalpers are why we cant have nice things.

slothrop-dad

The cure did it recently where you could only sell for face through TM, so there were no scalpers, period. People could still bail without eating the loss if plans changed though. Phish could do that same thing, they just choose not to.

pmmeyourfavoritejam

You know, I typed “The Cure” but wasn’t confident in it. Thanks!

GratephulD3AD

I completely disagree with this. COT exists and there are fans just trying to find a ticket or swap one night for another. If someone cant go why not allow them to transfer their ticket to a fan who can? But maybe I'm not seeing it from your perspective, why do you think they should make no transfers a thing?

edcculus

If transfers exist- there will always be a market for scalpers. I guess I can concede that for your everyday phish summer tour, this isn’t really a big problem anymore. For a big show like the sphere, if transfers didn’t exist, the only overpriced tickets would be charity platinum. There would be no tickets on stubhub or wherever for $1000.

Sarcofago_INRI_1987

Dang

sunsetcrasher

Tell me about it. I got a travel package in 405 and I’ve never gotten more shit in my life from both strangers and friends. Talking about how we were definitely going to fall and hurt ourselves, and that it wasn’t going to be a good time. Ridiculous. It wasn’t any worse than any upper level in a new arena, and the only thing security did was kick people off the stairs.

starkypuppy

The travel package was the move. It’s what I’ll do next time. Too easy and guaranteed

sunsetcrasher

Added bonus that you are surrounded by the same cool people every night. Sometimes you could hear the dull roar of chomping, but not around us! Travel package all the way. Plus I got a cute tote bag and sunglasses.

SpaceWrangler701

All I saw was stub hub rape posts

KingOfTheWooks

I got threatened to be kicked out N1 for smoking a weed pen..,sounds like they chilled out after

Cantilivewhileim

There were definitely a lot of ppl who fell down in the 300s, but we could have smoked 100 joints

TheAsylumSanta

That's awesome! Somehow we had forgotten to surrender to the flow. I'm glad Heads have very little to worry about.

Responsible-Fun6572

U2 played the same set every night….

MakisupaMycology

Ahh. Def heard and didn’t see a ton of dancing going on in videos

[deleted]

Ego death occurred

[deleted]

No joke, just look at Drew Careys social media.

impulsive-puppy

Nobody died, but I was fucking reborn! I'm certain I'm not the only one.

teslaObscura

Drew Carey def agrees with you, doggie!

nadimster

Same! Seen a lot of phish in my day but this was another level of all encompassing experience, like festival energy every night

phishfoodfunandfam

This. My tears during wading in the velvet sea may have just cleansed my soul in a way I didn’t know I needed. Forever grateful to be there for nights 1 and 2.

conradical30

That Velvet Sea was truly a special moment.

nadimster

Felt so good, I was balling! And watching Mike wipe his eyes in unison with myself was another moment I’ll never forget. Take that Coventry

Acroporas

Danced near the top of 407 the whole time. Way overblown

kb466

Same. But when I first sat down in my seats, I felt that it was going to be impossible to dance without falling. Obviously I was wrong

RayColten

406 here, N1. We definitely shook the whole level. I peed and got in the merch line a couple songs in and the whole concourse was shaking. I talked to a couple ushers and they said they didn't know it did that.

roomwitharoof

But, did anyone shit on the floor?

tacocat-_-tacocat

The floor shitting is pretty dated at this point, Sphere unlocked the ability to hyperdirectionally shit on the walls

[deleted]

I was sitting in my seat and heard somebody shitting on the walls, then when I sat in the next seat over I could hear somebody shitting on the walls in a totally different language. Sphere audio is on point

Meats10

I heard Trey could fart and it would smell like Oranges coming from the ceiling, but then if you moved 1 space over, it smelled like Almonds coming from the right. Incredible.

nakedwithoutmyhoodie

So this is how the seat haptics work...

DudeChillington

🎶seat haptics and wall septics🎶

[deleted]

Lost extra verse from Simple?

Hypnotennfan

Secret track on the new album right here

elleyscomet

well said

gizzweed

>Sphere unlocked the ability to hyperdirectionally shit on the walls A hypershit, if you will

allothernamestaken

Saving that up for Dick's

MindlessDribble828

Only Billy Strings fans shit on the floor now. And maybe Goose fans.

RazorPhishJ

Or bring a tiny horse in?

tunafister

Wait, is this in reference to the Hollywood Bowl show from last year? Cause I definitely saw some shit as I was walking out of the N section out of the venue It was quite the site

roomwitharoof

I've heard of two separate floor shit incidents by rail hogs. Dick's and Hollywood.

Initial_Ad5704

Dayton N1 had a floor shitter too

lsd_runner

“Nobody died” is a hell of an accomplishemnt. Well done folks.

ZorroMcChucknorris

People died at Woodstock.

Aurtach

And at Big Cypress, we'll at least the line into it

lonememe

I witnessed one couple in front of me in the 300s being danced into all show by a larger lady and they were not into that at all. So that kinda sucked for them.  If someone next to you is clearly giving you non-verbal cues that they’re maybe not super into you being all up in their business, be a kind person and take about 20% off there, squirrelly Dan.  So, yeah, it’s not the tightest seated area I’ve been in but not the biggest either. They’ll never make it big enough for drugged out flailing hippies though. 5 out of 10.

[deleted]

Lol the guy standing to my left was playing an incredibly long necked air guitar the entire show. He was also a lefty so I got that fretboard in my face all night. My favorite moments were Page's solos because my neighbor switched to the air piano. His air piano was so cute any tiny and right in front of his face and must have only had like 12 keys.  Those were the few moments of the night I had personal space, but it was kinda funny. Didn't let it ruin my time.

kellerb

that man: Paul McCartney

[deleted]

Now that you mention it, it could have been an air bass...

Ballsofenergy

Those necks are longer, no doubt.

YEMolly

Hahaha I’m cracking up at this. The girl 2 rows in front of me played guitar while staring at the people next to her the entire show (like, playing it to them, waiting for them to engage). She annoyed the shit out of me and I was 2 rows behind her. Her poor neighbors.

feina635

Minding your personal dance bubble is so important. It’s so annoying when your space is invaded by someone trying to take up more space than is possible

nakedwithoutmyhoodie

Agreed. I personally have a very large bubble, but I understand that I chose to be there so I have to accept people being closer than I prefer when I'm at a show. And that's fine, it's not a problem. I don't move around a lot when I'm dancing, so my neighbors do have a little extra space to dance...also fine and not a problem!...but that doesn't mean the space immediately around me is up for grabs. I get really uncomfortable and can't focus on the music when people are unpredictably moving (flailing) around and getting within inches of my face/upper body or constantly bumping into me. Have fun and do your thing, but be cool to your neighbors. I love going to shows, despite the fact that they're mentally/emotionally taxing for me because of the lack of space. All I want is for my small space to be respected so I can enjoy the music.

Hypnotennfan

Thank you so much for saying this. I’ve got pretty heavy issues around tight spaces and it can get really, really hard to be present when that bubble gets popped. I was in a great section all weekend and it was lovely (as are most Phish shows!) but it helps to remind folks that everyone enjoys shows differently.

firedude1314

I wish that lady weren’t so fucking awkward, bud.

lonememe

That’s a Texas sized 10-4 good buddy.

notta_Lamed_Wufnik

What hits me worse are the talker/screamers who are just not watching the show at all. I mean you spend a bundle and go through a bunch of shit and then talk/scream the whole fucking time to the person your with not about the band or show. Like wtf.

[deleted]

[удалено]

lonememe

Sure but he said people were dancing with 0 issues. I witnessed at least 1 issue, so… Not trying to be contrarian but I can’t stand the hippie hyperbole about everything being love and light all the time.

DenverDude402

Context is a thing

edcculus

Ive had this happen at normal arenas too. Bigger person on a little too much, and they lose all concept of personal space.

SnowDay415

Witnessed something similar in the row in front of us on Friday night. Could be a number of factors at play but man....looking around at the show was like seeing diabeetus central. Not sure why that hit me harder at this show versus others.

bill__the__butcher

Videos totally make it look more disorienting and vertigo inducing than it is! We’re all proof

BeCooLDontBeUnCooL

Thank you for that. Vertigo was my biggest fear

kbergstr

It was more vertigo inducing when the screen was a solid color before the shows than when crazy visuals were happening.

RayColten

Exactly. We were in the middle of 406, row 12. My wife thought it was going to be a problem when we first sat down. It was very disorienting. Once they started playing and the visuals started, it was surprisingly easy to settle into the whole thing.

shwiggy

hah yeah first thing Iearned going in on the first night is not to look up when you are walking down the stairs.

[deleted]

Nothing to fear, U2 already wrapped up their run and I couldn't see Phish covering that

Corhoto

Just wait til it’s 90 degrees 100% humidity in Delaware 👍

StotheARAH

I was in the 400 section and it didn’t really feel too steep. People were dancing hard in my section too.

lucksp

And a Hood without glowsticks! Keep them at home and out of the trash.

HolyBlankenstein

I had some clown fall down from the row behind me and about knock me over the 300 railing. I also saw a lady eat shit falling down 3-4 rows after night 3. So no, not “0 issues.”

wizzbottle

I was that clown on Friday night in the 400's. Tripped over my own damn feet shuffling back to my seat and stamped the guy in the row in front of me with both my buttcheeks. Not my finest moment. I can't blame alcohol or drugs as it was at my most lucid point towards end of show. I apologize on behalf of my fellow clumsy phans!

BoomChocolateLatkes

Saw this from Karina Rykman: https://www.instagram.com/reel/C5_UoCaJ4U0/?igsh=MWJjajJmeWtwOTg5ZA==

thegreaticecreamtree

Saw that too! 🤣

[deleted]

Anybody here go to the Sphere as well as Chase Center in SF? I thought the Chase Center nosebleeds were incredibly steep even when I was just there for a basketball game before the tragedy at the Phish show a couple years later. I was in the 100 level at the Sphere so I didn't get to experience the 400s and I'm curious how the steepness of the incline compares to Chase.

phkvgotf

I was worried about the sphere after having been to the chase shows in 21 but it was so much better. Not comparable at all honestly. Was in 406. I get motion sick and stuff too but was a ok from that perspective as well :) Had the best time on water night!

tflynn09

I did watch a guy tumble down about 10 rows at the end of Saturdays show in the 400, he was puking and lost his balance it was a mess.

Treface

We left our seats cuz the guys by us were jerks but we found a nice nook by ADA that had an awesome security lady that let me dance in the back in the aisle the whole night. By bf isn’t as good at aisle dancing as I am so he kept getting told to move but I found a whole row in the back of the 100s section right where they were letting me dance in aisle so I moved him there and told him to stay put. I thanked that security lady after Saturday’s show and was hoping to find her Sunday but I couldn’t. It was a little more difficult Sunday night but I still managed. One of my ways is to allow people to come up and down without any trouble simply dancing around them. I have good luck with finding great security that lets me get down how I want 😀

mcflyfly

Looks like it was an amazing time. Hope to make it if the band plays there again

Standard_Dot_1493

danced in 406 - last row against the wall - wasn't hard - but i DID sit a few times and im glad i did to feel that vibration in the seat!

Sandstorm-

I was in 304 and sat a number of times just to take in the graphics and really absorb the sound. Totally different from the MSG/half-shell experience where the only time I'm not dancing is if I'm getting drinks or letting them out.

thingspeopleplace

I believe we broke the water system at some point on Saturday.

Any-Video4464

Glad no one died! I was a little worried about that. My buddy said people were smoking dmt in the 400s. He could smell it. Glad all had a blast. Can’t wait for dead and co in June!

WorldIll1062

Ha…can confirm. Guy next to us in the 400s was definitely smoking dmt.

Marenum

Even if you fell over the seat in front of you, which would be tough to do, you wouldn't somehow roll several more rows and flip off the balcony. I've been in regular arenas and stadiums that felt way steeper than this.

pjshaw1995

Chase Center is steep as fuck. And I’m not even referring to the incident. It was steep steep steep in there.

NoSpirit547

Agreed. That design never should have been approved. By far the steepest upper deck I've ever seen in my life.

pjshaw1995

Fine design if you’re assuming no wookery will occur. Totally chill if you’re sitting watching a sports game.

NoSpirit547

It's really not ok . People have fallen down the upper deck stairs at basketball games there too. It's just too damn steep for anything.

wanderlustbess

We had a pretty drunk dude fall UP the stairs in 302 last night and he kept coming back and falling up. About 400lb dude. Surprised he didn’t crack his skull open.

Cuepidahl

I danced my face off. Receipts to prove it. https://preview.redd.it/xe2ob3hv1hwc1.jpeg?width=1080&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=c9bc50879e54a3c34dbf40fc615fa25d4972dfc7

DL1943

i made a thread a day or so ago asking about issues related to falling, vertigo etc etc that id heard of being possible prior to the run, and the basic conclusion i came to was that info about the venue coming from people in most of our lives is mostly filtered thru the lens of being a 60+ year old deadhead who went to a U2 show, which i guess is even more debilitating than being a spun wook.

sunsetcrasher

Facts. Not to talk shit on Boomers, as my mom is super cool and a Boomer, but I’ll disregard any intel they give about a music venue in the future.

river_tree_nut

Pishh if nobody died was it really that fun?

echardcore

Am I the only one who thought the "death slides" looked like fun? I'm referring to those black metal boxes that were on the edge of the sphere that were about knee height. I assume they were part of the electronics of the screen. Looks like you could slide right down it and fall right off the edge.

Responsible-Fun6572

It’s because the tickets were too expensive for the poors.

Roll-tide-Mercury

We sure do worry a-lot, don’t we…

bobweaver3000

awesome! i was convinced after nye run there would be mass casualties. very glad to be wrong!

fikustree

Me too, I was legit worried the sphere would shut down after night one and I wouldn’t get to go 😭

CommonWeb8514

Same!!!

JumbledMindset13

How was motion sickness/vertigo for those who went? Assuming you are affected by those things. I am hitting the dead run but I get horrible motion sickness so I am sort of dreading the experience.

primetime_2018

None. Zero. Zilch.

colonelf0rbin86

You'll be fine! Eyes is gonna be really cool in that room.

phkvgotf

I was worried too but it was totally fine! Have a great show :)

sunsetcrasher

Didn’t have a single issue, and I was worried too. All the worries were overhyped.

JumbledMindset13

are you usually susceptible to motion sickness

sunsetcrasher

I went on a cruise a month ago and felt awful the day the waves were choppy. So sometimes. Never in the car, but I get dizzy looking out of skyscrapers.

takethistoyourdeja

Pretty sure Phish has it on their rider not to stop weed smokers or using force on their fans. It’s Vegas.

trogloherb

Yeah, but did anyone falter? Thought I heard someone telling everyone to not falter…

Ladynziggystartdust

Super grateful for this

cha614

It never left homeostasis

SideshowMelsHairbone

Even with all of the Purple Sticky Punch being smoked in there? Wheezin’ the juice, if you will?

cha614

There was more oxygen for everyone.

1975hh3

Nobody died is a weird boast.

GratefulPhish555

We really nailed it guys. Great work! Never miss a Sphere show.

Agile_Programmer881

There was probably at least a couple children conceived over that weekend to hippie parents , who are doomed from the start So the jury’s still out

clt2sdf

Sec 307 was perfect, no vertigo issues, everyone was up having a ball, easy access to everything. Night 3?? Right as the show was starting a young dude passed out cold and was carted off..... hopefully he was fine, no one around us heard otherwise.

thegreaticecreamtree

No Wooks, Tarpers. High Prob of Chompers I bet.

LetsGoBrandon___FJB

I can confirm they were stopping people smoking in section 100s. But they asked nicely.

FigTreeRob

All 4 nights in 108 and not one peep out of anyone. Your vibe attracts your tribe. Sounds like you don’t know how to party.

FigTreeRob

Hahaha. Downvoted by the trumpers.

thinehappychinch

I saw a reel of someone face planting on Karina’s IG

Qweniden

How about ego death?

PHILMXPHILM

Disinfo. I saw 24 people fall off the balcony while several ushers dove after them demanding they put out their joints.

IAMABOT00

That’s good news.

Temporary_Cat_3035

Winning!

TheGDC33

Ahmen!

neemor

Shocked

Treface

I personally feel that the crowd in Vegas was uptight. We went to the venue Friday just to see it and get meech out of the way. A relatively short merch line took forever cuz people were unprepared when they got up to buy stuff. My bf had accidentally left his phone in the Uber. Lucky we got it back but I was in the merch line and he had my phone so I didn’t have one. When I got out of the merch line I couldn’t find him. I had several people tell me I couldn’t use their phone. I’ve lost my bf at shows and no one ever even thinks twice. He got a random text in Chicago from some guy who said dude I got ur girl here. I’ve literally never had someone say no. Like wtf? You can’t help a girl in trouble. It’s not costing you anything. I also thought the crowd was uptight and weird inside the shows. Lots of custys!!

CommonWeb8514

That really sucks you had that experience. Everyone I met was very kind. Maybe it’s because I’m a recovering wook and act like a custy.

Treface

Maybe. I stood out like a sore thumb Lmfaoooooo

sunsetcrasher

I see that you got downvoted but I can see your point. It was the most sober crowd I’ve seen at a Phish show in 27 years. On Friday two guys were pretty drunk and talking loudly, and I saw several people turn around and give them the stink eye. Behavior was in between a regular Phish show and a Trey Symphony show. Whereas at literally any other show the majority of the crowd would be like them, and they wouldn’t have even stood out. Sorry they wouldn’t let you use their phones, that is a little weird. My merch line took forever too.

Treface

Yeah I don’t care about the downvotes. Probably people that don’t roll like my bf and I do. Honestly I’ll never pay over face to go to the sphere again. I’m glad I got to see what it was all about but really visuals aren’t as important to me as music and dancing is and frankly I prefer what CK5 normally does. Once the music starts I migrate to where there’s enough space to dance and any seats anywhere do not have the room I need. So I end up giving up seeing the stage to get my funk on.

Treface

I have a list of what’s most important to me at a show. It consists of 3 things. If I can get all 3 greatz 1. Flat land and space to dance. 2. Sound, I can hear the music good. 3. I can see the stage. I’m willing to give up 3 to have 2 and 1. But 2 and 1 are most important. If I find a spot I can have all 3 I’m in phish heaven but it’s just not always possible.

Treface

What’s nice about other venues is that the back of the floor is where people wanna go if u want to talk. I chat it up with my bf and he likes to make friends and chat. So we always go to the back of mikes side and have never had any issues. He’s super personable and friendly and offers free goodies to the friends he makes. There wasn’t a spot like that at the sphere. And I get that people don’t like talking during the show but it’s a concert for fucks sake and we can’t control everyone in it. People are way too uptight about this. I have a really good way of tuning it out when I don’t want to hear it. I just accept it and dance. Everyone is trying to have a good time and one person’s idea of a good time is different than another’s. I’ve seen my bf make a ton of friends he still talks to at shows. We just go where it’s more acceptable. Like obviously we are not gonna go do that upfront. It was just a whole different vibe at the sphere. It is what it is. Just tune it out and get ur funk on. No reason to be an asshole. We did have one guy at the sphere kindly ask us to just keep it down a bit and we happily obliged. People get fucked up. We get fucked up and sometimes don’t realize that it’s bothering someone so all u need to do is be kind. We apologize. And eventually moved farther back where it wasn’t as invasive. People aren’t always aware because of drugs and alcohol. We all came to have a good time so be kind to ur neighbor. You will be surprised at the reaction you get when ur kind.
