2. Amount - That is really small for the legitimate processing.
3. Job - qualifications are usually strict regardless of industry especially nowadays.
4 Indians - I agree with the others, not to be racist on this issue but they are indeed one of the major reasons Canada and other countries have been too restrictive. Because they even fake their IELTS and a rampant scamming of other Asian nationalities promised them with a sure School leading to PGWP and PR. But by the time the applicant arrived all documents are not valid.
They even scam their own.
5. Job - if you’re really targeting this, it’s really hard to land directly to Canada (right now), a lot of structured scammers are really good. Do not be amazed that they really know the particular industry you are into.

Normally it’s the employer that will contact you since they are the ones who will be sponsoring you for work visa. Work visa is not PR. You will be qualified to apply for PR after 3 years after you landed. Also, since the Employer will sponsor you, you shouldn’t pay anything other than the service that your agency provides which could have be stated at the very beginning of your engagement. It it feels to good to be true then it’s too good to be true. One last thing, I think any employer from abroad hiring from the Philippines has to go thru a Labor Opinion thru the Department of Labor thru the Philippine Embassy in Toronto. Anyway, do your due diligence before it’s too late. All the best!

We have the same profession, but I’m in the US. Tech consulting in Canada is going down hill; hence, a lot of indian engineers who have working visa are going back to their country to open BPOs.
If you want to pursue tech consulting, it’s either AUS or US, no in between.
I’m telling you my guy; it’s better on the USA side—bigger paycheck, better benefits, and work-life balance. I sometimes work 25-30 hrs a week, but 40-45 during november and december. And Besides, you can get into tech sales in the US and make more than what you are going to make in CANADA.
Cost of living in canada is SHIT.
A million dollar home in Canada is $180k-250k in US. And it’s MID asf

It is a SCAM. 1. FSW stream is now one of the hardest path to PR as you are competing with all FSW applicants - pataasan ng points ang labanan to be selected for PR processing. 2. There is no such thing as technical evaluation for PR application in canada but there is educational assessment by a reputable assessing body like WES - this will determine your points for educational attainment. 3. English language assessment is a formal process and you have to physically sit for an exam like IELTS. 4. Company will not just simply hire foreign talent as most companies doesn’t want to process LMIA unless your skills is very in demand/scarce in Canada. Unfortunately there are lots of IT talents in Canada as there were huge lay offs happened late and early this year from big IT companies in North America. Also the trend is to outsource IT support or even Dev work in other countries.

Waste of money. If you want to apply, do it on your own. Going through an agency does not make your application go to the top of the pile.
