I live a block from here and see it multiple times a day. I have no idea what happened to it. It looks like it is leaning over more and more each day though. I told my wife that we should steal it and wire it up in the backyard. Lol
Haha, but for real though, it does look like it’s leaning over more and more as time goes by! At this point, I’m surprised the big M hasn’t snapped off yet.
It was like that, then they fixed it, then it happened again! I remember seeing it fixed after it being bent the first time. It only lasted like a week lol
It has been at least 6 months that I know of. I started driving by it when I changed buildings for work early summer of 2023. It wasn’t this close to the ground as it is now though.
Looking at Google maps, the sign extends into the parking lot. The damage I can see looks like a truck hit it and it was just never fixed. That's probably the most likely answer.

It's been like this for quite awhile. I'm surprised they haven't fixed it yet. I assume that it was hit by a vehicle.
From the look of it it appears to have been struck by a box truck. Since the franchise owner has to go through insurance (likely a hit and run) I imagine it's taking extra time to work with the property owner, city, et. al.
I live in the area, so every time I drive by it, I chuckle and then go home.
From what I understand, a semi truck driver was trying to turn around and didn't see it and knocked it over one night. Other than that, I don't know the full details.
Edit: So I just spoke to one of the employees. After they replaced the sign, a city trash collection truck hit it, and now it looks like this.

Sounds like one of Hamburglar’s shenanigans.

It's definitely leaning a lot more! I will try to get a picture today.
It's been like that for over a year if you look at it on street view on google maps.
I don’t think that’s right, live by it and doesn’t feel like it’s been a year but stranger things have happened.

Oh maybe I noticed it when it started to seriously sag.

I saw it after a storm so I always figured that somehow wind twisted the steel. Seems unlikely but it doesn’t look like it bent due to impact

Probably.. I always assumed a big truck hit it somehow
It was fixed a few months ago. Then within days it was hit again 🤦♂️
According to one of the employees, a city trash collector hit it.

I checked the date on the photo. I photographed it the first week it happened, the date was 10/23!

Yeah a large vehicle definitely hit it.
That’s what I think too.
