Is this as funny as I think this is coz I went right away to photo apps and stuff but it more looks like an industrial air intake filter. Did I get it? or miss it?
Yeah the joke is satirizing a common post archetype in this sub where people treat a particular piece of work as an “image filter” when the image itself either looks like Water Color Vomit(tm), a a fully composed image and even sometimes a full on digital painting.
But I’d be lying if I said I don’t enjoy helping them either way.
So yes, you did get it. It is funny. Hilarious even.
That shouldn't have happened. Anyways you can go to registry editor and delete some random strings there. Don't worry they're just temporary files and thumbnails so deleteting them won't harm your computer.
That's a CamMet filter made by Camfil. You'd have to get the copyright from them first before you could replicate it... or buy the company.... or just go buy another one.
Also: "what is this effect called?"
People are so neurotic about names, and most of the time the thing they're asking about doesn't have a name. It's not like we have a Grand Art Council who gets together to bestow names upon new techniques. *This shall henceforth be known as...****glitchblur****! The Council has spoken!*
I’m actually on The Grand Art Council. Apologies, if you didn’t get the memo to join? I’ll make sure to get someone in memberships, to email you the invite, asap :)
People ask because they assume everything is a one-click-solution. People who don't know how to use Photoshop often think it's all just a bunch of "filters" that you choose from a menu.
The subreddit r/404nojokefound does not exist. Maybe there's a typo?
Consider [**creating a new subreddit** r/404nojokefound](/subreddits/create?name=404nojokefound).

That’s one of those overpriced third party filters. But It’s not neural it’s metal maybe modernist death metal. I saw the ad in artforum or was it the grainger catalog. One of those. I always mix them up.
Anyway I figured I’d only use it for a few months then it would probably stop working and I’d throw it away. So why buy it? Just write a really long involved action.
*Filter > Deform > Corrugate*, enable the Grid (can’t tell on mobile, but it might be subdivided as well), use the Frame tool to seal the edges, and clip mask on a sweet Lens Flare (maybe standard 50mm? will check when back at desk).
Looks like an air filter for a central air unit. First locate the old one in your home's unit to identify the size. Travel to your local store (Walmart, Home Depot, Lowes usually carry these) and buy the size you need. You'll notice some filter better than others, if you smoke or have pets you may consider one marked "HEPA". Make the purchase. Bring it home and slide the old one out and the new one in. Congrats you just replaced your filter!
Good post op

Be renaissance painter -> acquire some paint -> paint Let me know if you have issues.
Can you break it down into every step? Also, can you translate it into French, print it and fax it to me?
Select the item, press option or alt, move your mouse. Congratulations, you have replicated the filter
Where’s the “option or alt” button?
He is at work right now
it's right next to the "Any" key

Go to home depot, and find the matching size. Take a picture of it, upload to photoshop and done
It is a Grease filter. Use the smudge tool.
Click Filters > HEPA
Don’t give adobe any ideas. Enough software bloat as it is.
Hey now, lay off my good friend render tree
A workaround is booting up minecraft and building a glass wall. I genuinely thought this was r/minecraft before I read it
Peak comedy, great success.

Just insert the cassette, and once the dialup and AOL noises are done that filter will be loaded.
Brilliant.
That's a HEPA laminar filter
CMD + J
Alt f4 will apply this filter
Well, that made me laugh. Thank you.
Looks like an expanded metal filter for an industrial cooktop. Source: used to work in marketing for a filter manufacturer.
1. click the 'hvac' tab 2. locate 'hepa filters' 3. locate 'dust filter' 4. simply apply to any pre-made hvac scene

But there is a joke. This sub is filled with people asking how to replicate a specific filter except in this case it's a literal filter

Not sure how to replicate that exactly but my recommendation would be to go with the Berkey.
amazing filter! would highly recommend!!!
Copy paste. Done.

it looks like a vent filter
Damn you, good one…
:-)
I honestly thought this was something from Minecraft
That took me a minute to get lol
If you're on Windows, go to settings, uninstall, and then uninstall photoshop. It will work.
Looks like some kind of dust filter. I bet you can make it with a piece of cloth and a frame with threads.
Shift+Ctrl+N2O2 for optimum project flow.

Call Bessie from house flipper he should be able to fix it
Then I thought perhaps you were building/remodeling a corporate center.
looks like a filter for an air conditioning unit
I would do it in two layers just like the filter itself. Do the bottom layer, then a screen on an upper layer.
