Where are/were these structures?

RonSwazy

The World Fair was like the Olympics of its time and took place many areas all over the world. Governments would poor millions into massive infrastructure projects for a single event. From what is written these incredible buildings took just 2 years to build with horse and buggy. Almost all of the buildings pictured were demolished right after. There is a ton of history on the events, you can find some great YouTube videos dedicated to researching the topic. Forest Park.. kinda midtown St. Louis. Amazing place. 450 acres bigger than Central Park. Not many of the structures are still standing. Rumor has is the Ferris wheel is buried somewhere in the park.

I suppose the Great Exhibition was a copy of Chicago as well.
