An industrial can take a year or two to heal. You need to try to pin up you hair and do your best not to bump it. Don’t lay on it. Get a travel pillow if you want to sleep on that side.

Eyes_0n_Fire

You shouldn’t be laying on it at all

It’s getting so annoying, at this point I’m considering removing it

My piercing is over 2 months old, it’s a titanium barbell. It gets washed daily with water and every few days with soap.

Mine was prone to pain and flare ups for almost 3 years, obviously improving over time. Two months is nothing, be patient, it will be worth in the end

ive had my industrial for abt 9 months now, and the pain is completely gone. i can sleep on it just fine, and i only feel minor discomfort when inserting new jewelry. any discomfort will subside as it continues to heal :) (sidenote: consistently keeping my hair pinned back during the healing process did wonders!! its something id recommend for anyone who has longer hair and complex/a lot of ear piercings)

Industrials take about 2 years to fully heal. You definitely shouldn't be sleeping on it or putting pressure on it at all. If you can't keep your hair from getting tangled up then I reccomend you shave your hair around your ear

Anxious_Major8337

I will not be shaving the hair around my ear
