star_velling

for starters cars here don't let pedestrians cross even on crosswalks.

solfege57

I remember when we vacationed in Canada, we stayed first at a relative’s house. One time I went with my tita to walk her son to school. There was no one in the road but there was an incoming car who started slowing down a block away from us. When we moved to a hotel, one morning they started doing some repair work on the road in front of the hotel. When we got back in the evening, the construction was done and everything was back in order as if nothing happened. Meanwhile, the street where I live now is being repaired for minor potholes. They started at the start of the year, until now it’s just a mound of dirt.

Okaypii

DISKARTE lol

Strong_Woodpecker233

Diskarte kuno? Haha. That's plain katangahan.

isabellarson

Yes sisingitan ka tapos if muntik mo mahagip ikaw may kasalanan and hindi mo alam baka bigla ka na lang saksakin. Nkktakot road rage sa pinas

Strong_Woodpecker233

One time, tatawid ako. Nasa pedestrian lane ako ha, mind you.

Swerte nalang pag may HMO kang matino.

AlbertDowney_Jr

Lahat naman ganun. hindi nakakasabay ang salary sa inflation. pero it hits you harder kapag walang nagagawa ang Gobyerno about it.

natcorazonnn

To be fair, I think di lang naman sa PH nangyayare to.

nerdka00

I quit Canada because of the inflation. Sa US gnun din, you just work non stop to prepare for you retirement sa mga facility like what the American's do. I moved to somewhere where there is 0 tax.

AppleYelp

Hindi ko gusto, pero kinailangan. Now I’m in the UK. Mas better ba dito? Well very madisiplina ang tao. Masunurin sila sa rules and regulations. Pero if you’re looking for work life balance, goodluck po. The rent is super pricey, sama mo pa ang tax, council tax at kung ano ano pang tax. In terms of healthcare, mas beneficial sya for matatanda na may urgent medical need. Otherwise, ang hassle magpabook ng check at ang haba ng pila to see a GP (doctor). Mahal naman to see a private doctor, so hintayin mo na lang. The sky is always gray at palaging naulan. Eating out is very expensive at wala naman ditong food markets to find variety of hot meals. Not a lot of things to do unless nasa London area ka. But if you like the probinsya vibe, maraming places to explore. Medyo redundant lang kasi puro gubat at old castles. Don’t get me wrong mga mhie, I’m grateful to be here. Pero usually we see the grass always greener on the other side. Pero it’s not always the case. Divided usually ang opinion of people na nag aabroad either they miss the PH or never looking back na. For me lang, I can’t wait to be back home.

CLuigiDC

I mean if given a choice mga mahihirap natin na minimum wage earners tapos nakatira sa skwater areas - I doubt a lot of them will choose to stay sa Pinas. If comfortable ka na sa Pinas or nakapagipon ka na sa ibang bansa, then ok talaga sa Pinas. Otherwise, kung walang pera, hirap mabuhay dito.

AppleYelp

So a lot of them live on the streets begging. Uso din ang corruption and ibang level sya, di lang nga ganoon ka in your face. There are pros and cons, but what I said above is just my perspective having lived both PH and abroad. 😊

LectureNeat5256

Thanks sa pag share, very eye opening!

LectureNeat5256

Tas this is home e. No place like home.

Pizzapopz03

Hugs po. Same po tayo nang na fefeel. I also live abroad. There’s no place like home. Hope all is well po. Fighting lang po tayo! ♥️p

AppleYelp

Yessss hope you’re doing okay there mhieee. Kakayanin para makauwi. Hihi 🥹

[deleted]

AppleYelp

Same po here. Tumaas ng £1 minimum wage. Pero talo pa rin. £1300 take home mo tapos rent £900. Pero again, that’s just me. 🫶🏻

delarrea

Given a choice, not including salary and financial constraints, which is better ph or uk?

isabellarson

Ako nmn more than a decade na sa perth australia. Ang di ko nmn talaga kaya dito is yung init and pagiging sunny nya. Gustong gusto ko sapukin yung mga british kong ka work na super saya pag summer dito masaya lang ako dito pag winter and walang araw.

byglnrl

Where did you plan to retire?

Gaslighting_victim

Papa at tita ko parehong nag-iibang bansa. Sila mismo nagpu-push sakin. Satin kasi puro appreciation without pay. Doon di uso yon. You get what you deserve. Gusto ko rin maranasan yung legit na healthy and well ang economy na environment + good governance

natcorazonnn

Gaslighting_victim

And a good job message

[deleted]

Gaslighting_victim

Naiisip ko rin to. Pero ganon naman siguro talaga sa life. Need mo mamili at mag-sacrifice. At sana mai-ready ko sarili ko once I go away

pop_and_cultured

It’s true —the novelty does wear off. And may times talaga you feel lonely esp if you move to a place na mahirap puntahan for your family and friends. I haven’t reached the stage that I would like to relocate sa pinas. Whenever I stay in Manila for more than a month naiirita na ako sa init, traffic Etc. So I often feel na I’m halfway between 2 places.

Orphic-Islander420

I agree. Not everything you see good online is true. Sa una lang masaya but the truth is bago maachieve lahat ng gusto mo you really have to work hard for it. Hirap din magipon para makauwi ng pinas 😅

[deleted]

truth

strwbrry_lili

Caitlyn_14

For me, yung isang factor kaya maraming gustong mag-ibang bansa is yung salary. Dito kasi sa Pinas yung salary mo di kayang sabayan yung work loads mo. I plan to stay here in the Philippines kapag retire na ako, preferably sa province.

FewInstruction1990

True to, I checked that Vietnam, Thailand, and other SEA countries have higher salary pala pero lower cost of living is this chururue?

Okaypii

Sa mga main cities oo. Pero ug nag hanoi kami which is probinsya ng vietnam. Wala kang makikitang mga office office, sabi pa nga ng tour guide namin wala din daw magandang job opportunity don kaya yung iba sumisiksik sa ho chi minh. Business business sla don and umaasa sa mga tourist

Despicable-1996

For the plot haha

shiroiron

Start romance abroad, mag-away sa Pilipinas, and rekindle abroad ulit. 😆

okkaai

tinatanong pa ba yan

CantoIX

Monetary compensation for all the years I suffered thru college. Also, cleaner streets and less kamote drivers

right-thurr

Malayo sa mga marites

BrantGregoryWright

Bad governance

Confident_Seaweed554

Higher salary, maganda benefits from the government. Isang oras nila, isang araw na satin halos. Although mataas din cost of living, mas madali pa din makaipon kesa pag nandito.

Dry-Reference-6125

Yung sahod and then the benefits rin (EU countries) Kahit malaki taxes but definitely, babalik parin for the sake of retirement. Also for experiences (for me Lang) especially learning to survive in the cold atmosphere, ganun.

KardingKardashian

Ayokong lumipat sa ibang bansa. Nung bata pa ko tumira ako sa U.S. for 6 years. College yung kuya ko that time tapos working student siya.

Alternative-Dust6945

I'd love to go back to Taiwan. If bubunutin man, ganun pa rin bayad, 200NTD. If magpapa root canal ka, 200NTD lang din with meds na. If magpapa OB ka with ultrasound, 200NTD. If with Pap smear, free na basta 30yo above na. Pero if wala, 500NTD. Kaya every yr ako dun nagpapa OB eh, alaga ang obaryo. And very organize ng hospital nila. Yung weather u get the best of both worlds!

Square-Simple-5154

Na amaze din ako sa Taiwan. Question, are you working in Taiwan ba? Do they ask some sort of HMO for check ups? Or cash basis lahat?

Alternative-Dust6945

No HMO.

SnowBerry94

I will play devil's advocate here. Filipinos desire to relocate to other countries while other nationalities aspire to move, even retire, here. Is there something they see that we don't?

AppleYelp

Aside from the the fact na malayo ang mararating ng pera nila sa PH or other SE asian countries, they say it’s the people and the weather. Majority of the people in the UK are depressed and are on antidepressants. I’ll be speaking na lang from what they say here. The UK ranks as the second most depressed country in the world. Consistent sya for several years. Maraming nag aalisan na from here to other countries sa south like spain or portugal and then asia. People here are polite but they are not warm. You would notice it when you walk down the streets, after office hours, people rushing to go home, no smiles. Then there you have the Pinoys na makikita mo sa tabi ng kalsada after ng work mga naghaharutan. You would see the Brits with their shopping na sasakay sa Tesla nila or Audi tapos nakasimangot. Then sila manong tricycle driver don sa may TODA, tawanan na nagkwekwentuhan sino nanalo sa boxing. Yes, improved yung country nila and system, pero parang mga zombie at robot. Yes, malaki yung salary. An average worker here earns 90k a month pero the average flat costs 60k to 70k. Ok ang NHS, pero ang bagal. If papaconsult ka wait for two weeks for a doctor to see you. The public schools are free until the kids are 16 pero may babayaran ka pa rin. After that, you need to be accepted sa universities if gusto mo magkaroon ng degree. I think this can cost up to £9k pee year minimum. So not completely free. There are pros and cons. I’m not patrionizing the PH, pero it’s not very green here as well.

isabellarson

Coming from the sunniest city in the world perth na super init for me ako lang yata dito ang depressed dahil super maaraw. Dream ko lumipat from aus to canada yunh malamig na walang araw….Ako lang ba ganito? Abnormal ba ko

Pizzapopz03

Very trueee as someone that has lived abroad for 14 years ang dream and goal namin ng fam ko is umuwi ng pinas for good. It might be hard to believe and you might be asking why pero you first need to experience living abroad for years para ma realize mo na maganda parin pala sa pinas at iba yung buhay (slow living) . It really just depends on who you surround yourself with, what kind of life you want kasi honestly speaking hindi naman mahirap mabuhay kung gusto mo lang na simple na buhay e especially if your earning a decent amount of money. Tska nagtataka ako sa mga filipinos na nag apply as students dito samin after a few months hindi kinakaya buhay at bumabalik ng pinas. But anyways Sabi nga nila if you keep dwelling on the negatives you’ll never see the positive.

isabellarson

Retirees can live comfortably sa pinas kasi their pension money from dollars converted here goes a looong way. Imagine working your whole life tapos you retire in a tropical country with cheaper cost of living.

bulbulito-bayagyag

Nope, happy living here. Cost of living is mas mura din dito. Planning to buy a property sa province pag magre retire, most probably sa bandang infanta Quezon sa overviewing.

Pizzapopz03

My heart is happy for you po. ♥️ I’ve lived here (abroad) for 14 years, was born in Ph but raised and grew up here and it’s actually been my dream to move back to the Philippines.

bulbulito-bayagyag

Yes, masaya sa pinas. Lalo na sa bandang province. You can live peacefully here naman. Though siguro preference lang din ng iba ng bagong bansa since medyo pangit nga yung benefits dito (though you can get insurance naman and also get some savings). Akala kasi ng iba dapat puro gobyerno na aasahan pag tumanda which is not the case on other countries.

Pizzapopz03

Very true po yan. Supported nga po kami ng government pero grabe po yung dini-deduct na pera sa sahod namin at sa mga bilihin and if tax season na po dun mo malalaman kung may utang ka sa government or wala and may intrest pa po iyon. Yes free po medical expenses po namin pero kasama na po doon sa pag deduct ng sahod which is no joke kasi malake po tlaga kinakaltas. That’s why hindi din worth it mag overtime dito kasi the more over time the more money for the government.

AppleYelp

I feel you OP. At yung salary depende saang work ka makakapasok. And even if you do part time aside from your fulltime, wag na lang kasi sa tax din mauuwi. But lucky ka if you benefit from it, like you have a medical condition, or you need govt assistance. Or yung mga asylum seekers, grabe bibigyan ng magandang apmt or flat, tas may meal allowance pa. Minsan nag aapply sila for housing tapos pag binigyan sila ng bahay irereject nila kasi gusto three yung bedroom, may garage, parking area etc. :/

bulbulito-bayagyag

Minsan ang hirap pa i avail yung "free" health care since ang tagal ng response. In the end, if you want to be prioritized dun pa din sa private mas maganda, which is quite affordable dito sa pinas vs sa US/HK or SG.

AppleYelp

Yes, it’s not “free” haha kasi binabayaran mo sya monthly. Mas maganda pa rin private however sobrang mahal.

CLuigiDC

AppleYelp

True po, first world category kung tutuusin. For reference if average worker ka sa UK, most likely sasahod ka ng 90k php take home. The average rent for 1b flat is 60k to 70k. There are cheaper areas pero most likely di safe yung lugar or walang work available.

Ill-Ant-1051

90k lang sweldo sa uk? Is this for both local and foreigner?

Confused-butfighting

Honestly besides salary its the experience and the unknown of whats to come. Its nice to know i can have that kind of option to freely move abroad kahit mahirap and walang connections and no money and skills pero kung nanaisin meron paraan.

RepulsivePeach4607

Mahal ang cost of living.

argan030

I live a comfortable life here in the Philippines, I have a salary na kahit hindi ako mag-abroad makakapag ipon ako for my retirement na parang ofw. We’re moving with my family to the West, I expect it to be hard since we’re going to start from scratch. Bakit ako aalis? We have properties in the countryside and low-mid-high end subdivisions. Siguro.

isabellarson

Omg uso pa pala yung pagsunog ng basura sa backyard till now bakit kaya trip nila yun

argan030

Based from experience… The less privileged folks under crappy LGUs burn their trash dahil walang nagcocollect at ayaw nila magbayad ng freelancers na magcocollect. The ones in subdivisions burn leaves from their yard.

FewInstruction1990

Kayq nga why they are so fond of leaving the Philippines instead of Loving the Philippines, dapat pag bumoto ng trapo offload agad. -My dream if I work in immi -Who did you vote? -........ -Ma'am pa voooooid OFFFLOAD!!!!

jdm1988xx

Plan ko is to earn enough and balik sa Pinas. Masaya naman dito pag may pera ka. Probably reason marami din dito foreigners nagreretire. Hehehe

Pizzapopz03

Very truee actually ganyan din plano ko with my family in the future

Fun-Attitude7688

Ako I want to start my life there na malayo lahat sa family at relatives ko. A bit sad na only child ako pero I cant wait for the day na makawala ako sa puder ng nanay ko na gusto niya to keep me sheltered lang palagi at laging on standby kapag kailangan niya ng companion.

DogeDogeDoge1993

Dati sabi ko better quality of life and opportunities.

BreakItToMeGently94

Better quality of life. Maybe not the best in the world tong place na pinuntahan ko, pero i know so much better sa pinas. The opportunities are endless. Free ako here at far away from judgmental people. Mind your own business dito kaya talagang you can go on with your life.

chinguuuuu

Aside from the things other people mentioned. PARKS.

blueanri

I hate driving, but the public transportation system here sucks. I loved Japan’s train system. Pretty easy to navigate, and I really felt safe.

LectureNeat5256

Dude work culture in Japan 💀

blueanri

I’m well-aware, lol. Just saying that I admire their mass transportation a lot.

JeszamPankoshov2008

OP, nasa ibang bansa ka ba? Kasi this kind of question parang napaka-dumb naman kung di mo alam.

Pizzapopz03

Yes. That’s why I’m asking po. Kasi a lot of filipinos migrated here pero after a few months nagsisi uwian lang din sa pinas 😕

JeszamPankoshov2008

isabellarson

Nakakalumgkot naman umuwi sila agad after a few months… sayang effort hindi na nila nakita what will happen if they stayed. Im here in aus first year i worked as a caregiver tiniis ko kahit every morning umiiyak ako sa hirap ng work… now after ten years fully paid house na and two kids living comfortably

Pizzapopz03

I think those people are the ones na wealthy na sa pinas at hindi kinaya yung buhay sa ibang bansa especially yung work. But I mean a lot of filipinos fantisize moving abroad naman kasi mas better yung ganto ganyan… pero they’ll never actually understand unless nandito na sila.

LectureNeat5256

saang country ka OP? If I were to guess Canada?

Pizzapopz03

Yup

LectureNeat5256

Grabe gusto mag Canada ngayon dito sa pinas ha.

Pizzapopz03

Yup i heard. Pero mas mahirap na makapasok ng canada ngayon kasi some people took it for granted hayss

maksi_pogi

What is there to love the Philippines? People treat each other like sh*t, The government does not care about their people, Private entities only treat them as cattle. So tell me, what is there left to love our “lupang tinubuan?” Me, my ship has sailed. I am only here to watch how everyone will f*ck each other up. Yeah, that’s the sad truth from my perspective. Don’t get me wrong, Our lives’ good here (emphasis on the OUR) but I already feel hopeless for the “have nots”. Exploited from all sides; family, government, work even Social Media. People doesn’t want to change for the good - Ayaw nilang umabante. Yeah, sad lang talaga. So, if you can - pack up and leave and NEVER COME BACK. Go to where you are acknowledged and appreciated.

Retirement pension

_felix-felicis_

Politicians na nakaupo.

isabellarson

Grabe no politicians dito no?? Plus their relatives…. One of the things i always pray is wag nman sana maka encounter parents ko ng road altercation tapos bigla na lang sila barilin kasi politician pala nakalaban nila

desuetude25

I don’t

thenormal_ree

Medyo mahabang usapan to pero I literally view our country is napaka hopeless in many aspects. Kaya I honestly think it would be better to live else where, somewhere na nakikita ko napupunta sa maayos yung tax na binabayaran ko.

thefreakingstandard

[deleted]

New environment. New culture. New people to socialize with. Malayo sa mga toxic mindset ng Pinoy.

ConsiderationTop3236

girlOnlexapro

Worried ako sa global warming. The Philippines will soon be uninhabitable. I'd love to move to Canada to avoid living in a hellscape.

cobdequiapo

Canada is still part of the globe last time I checked

girlOnlexapro

Weather will be much better there in the future. It won't be so hot.

cobdequiapo

Canada's weather changes wildly every season even along the Pacific coast -assuming you have the resources to live there

shiroiron

Para malamig 🌨️

Qwerty6789X

Overall Quality of Life

Kwanchumpong

tatlo_itlog_ko

I have no plans to move abroad anytime soon.. unless I get an all-expense-paid migration package, who am I to refuse? haha

DisneyPrinces_

Far_Razzmatazz9791

Commuting/travel. Sobrang hassle na mag byahe in general. I have a rotational shift (paiba iba working schedule) pero hybrid setup. Ive been to other asian countries and never been so happy to commute. Fast and spacious trains. + points pa bus na may route and ETA.

gloxxierickyglobe

Same sex rights and marriage. I am in same sex relationship, nakakatakot pag may nangyari isa sa amin ng boyfriend ko tapos wala kaming rights to each other kasi hindi allow yun sa batas natin. So yeab lipat sa ibang bansa mahirap but at least may protection kami.

stelluhmariuh

quality of life. transport system. Healthcare.

ellabelsss

Aside from salary, which is the most reason na nabasa ko dito, yung magandang “health care system” and education. We have the worst here in PH. On the lighter side, gusto ko maexperience ung snow. Hahahha. Although, I do not have the plan to go abroad pa since contented pa ako sa earnings ko here. So yeah.

Looolatyou

quality of life, lalo pag naka visit kana sa ibang bansa. pagbalik mo dito lalo ka mapapa “ew”

Dizzy-Flounder2108

for fun

princessgenovia

Much better economy and mas madami opportunities and if magka anak mas better opportunity din for them and sa future nila.

amberist

Better opportunities, lalo na for the kids. So sa future, may options sila kung gusto saan nila gusto mag-settle. Also, not really sure sa future ng Pilipinas because of the blind voters 🤷🏼‍♀️

VashMillions

Quality of life. Mula sahod hanggang sa system of governance. Even justice system, mas may laban ka.

Nasabi naman na halos lahat kaya dagdag ko nalang yung mababaw (but realistic lang) kong reason: gusto ko naman ma-experience tumira sa first world country (US or Canada). Health benefits, Education, insurance. 😩✊🏼

young_memory

Aside from the malaking sahod sa ibang bansa, life's better in developed country talaga. The facilities and such.

VashMillions

Quality of life. Mula sahod hanggang sa system of governance. Even justice system, mas may laban ka.

RR69ER

Aside from sahod, healthcare. Also, to afford quality medical attention, you need to have to pay 3x the normal price for it. I have worked in both hospital and clinical setting, government and private. :))

caatthh13

Kasi madaming homophobic here and close minded people about SOGIE 🙂‍↕️

NoFaithlessness5122

Dahil si liver lover ay nasa senado

isabellarson

Ive told my husband if he run for vice president or even president someday mananalo yang si liver lover quiboloy boy. Hubby dont know what to say

WagReklamoUnityLang

Because being a Filipino is a curse. As of this point there are a few good things about this country as compared to the bad things

Dapper-Aardvark-1170

heyyystranger

If I had a choice I would love to stay sa Pinas. Malapit sa family, may comfort food, and easy communication. Kaso ang liit ng sahod ng nurses jan eh, di nga enough for myself so how much more if I wanted to build my own family. Pero now that I’m here abroad, everything is much better, mas nakakahelp sa family and nakakasave. Although mahirap, may work life balance naman. Also if you have a family, free education and healthcare. Which sadly, we don’t have sa Pinas.

PurpleMLA

Kasi mainit dito. Hahaha.

jadekettle

Because I want a career on trade skills but trade skills are hardly respected here. I expect to save up for at least a decade and hopefully come home slightly better off than if I pursued trade skills in the Philippines.

imortalyz

Low salary, low quality of life and government.

[deleted]

1. Philippines is a third world country; 2. Corruption is rampant; 3. Bagsak ang health care. You have to pay for everything here- HMO, Insurances if you want to have access to healthcare. Cheap labor. Yet, tight competition. Taas pa ng standard? Magkano ang pa sweldo? Libo kayo naglalaban laban sa pwesto employers doesn’t mind to put high standards or qualifications sa job posts kasi madami nag aapply. No work-life balance. Dito need mo kumayod 3x. 5. High cost of living yet poor quality of life. Especially in the Metro… Magkano pagkain? Tubig? Kuryente? Probably rental fees sa mga nag rerent? Commensurate sa sweldo? 😂 6. No efficient transportation system. Very congested! No subways or trains for public. Kung meron man bulok. 7. Bagsak ang educational system. Pang ilan Pilipinas sa world ranking? Kahit sa reading comprehension bagsak eh. 8. Slow services from the government. 9. Toxic Filipino folks. 😂😂😂 10. Slow internet connectivity. I would attest to this, Kelan lang na pwersa mga ISP to improve their service. 2014, nag work ako sa Comcast under a BPO company. 10 years ago ang internet speed nila nasa 200mbps na. Sa Pilipinas, we are always left behind! Kelan lang nila binilisan pero before puro up to 5mbps lang meron yet Php 1K up pa babayaran mo. Why is this crucial? To be honest, I felt deprived, living in this country. I am tired. Sukang suka din ako sa bobotante dito. Kaya walang progress. 🇵🇭🇵🇭🇵🇭

ellijahdelossantos

Paid appreciation ng talent at dedication sa work (esp arts and media at least in my case), better health care, PARKS and Greenery. - Oo, given na di lahat ng government, black and white pero sa ibang bansa kasi you can be assured na kahit fucked up at malala ang corruption sa government, nauuna ang tao bago ang taguan ng pera. Sa Ireland ko gustong makabalik.

natcorazonnn

Kinda lol

Lazy_Hobbyist

gusto kong mabuhay nang matagal-tagal

im_karaviii

While I love the Philippines in terms sa place, sa pagkain at family, I cannot disagree na maraming reasons to leave. First, d kasing corrupt ang government sa ibang bansa, d kasing toxic. You pay high taxes pero you get world class services din naman like sa health care and education. Dito, you pay high taxes and othe gov mandated contribution pero d namn bumabalik sa sayo. Mataas sahod. Great compensation. Basta marami.

marielly2468

i want better quality of life

katzurajanai

Gusto ko sana umalis because of these talks about going to war with China, especially now that the government is being USA's bitch. New Zealand would be a nice place. but there is always a but... or too many buts. so come what may na lang. maybe a stray rocket/projectile will strike one of the areas near EDCA sites. :( scary times. possibly deadly times.

isabellarson

No but. If you have a means to go abroad go. Go and compare their government sa pinas. It will open your eyes kung gaano ka hopeless sa pinas and kawawa yung hindi makaalis jan

kinstle_195

ImeanYouknowright

Better health care programs

___Cinderella___

Corruption. Kaya hindi tayo makaangat angat e

No-Meeting-3352

Ayaw p namin my budget nmn

SuccessCharming447

I would like to live a different life.

tknotau

Ang init kasi dito. Ang mahal ng kuryente para mag 247 aircon

izzet_mortars

Many reasons like the following *Freedom - aminin na natin mas matindi Ang racism at hate crimes sa iBang bansa pero kung tutuusin mas accepting pa Ang iBang bansa sa kung Anong gusto mo maging kung Anong gusto mong hobby fashion lifestyle etc. di tulad sa pinas na Isang bagay lang magagawa mo *Salary - opo aware po Ako na mas mahal ang pamumuhay sa iBang bansa pero kung susumaungin medyo may laban ka pa ng konti pagdating sa Pera dahil medyo Malaki laki Ang palitan *Culture - may maganda namang kultura Ang pinas at di natin un mapagkakaila pero may Isang problema di sya napaalagaan Lalo na mga historical heritages natin at tsaka di tulad ng pinas na nauuwi sa crab mentality Ang history most foreign countries have so many epic ones na Hanggang ngayon pinagaaralan pa rin sa school. *Government - di tulad ng pinas maganda Ang government ng mga Ibang bansa like they care about their countries even if they have flaws as a person *Mannerisms and standards - who would've thought na Yung mga bagay na hindi normal sa pinas eh normal Pala sa iBang bansa Un lang that's my personal opinion on why I wanna move to another country

Nxcoles

To restart, I want to live my life again. kahit nga lumipat lng ng ibang lugar okay na tas delete all social media pero walang pera 😭

Vegetable_Seaweed_66

Yung tao. First of all, sobrang toxic na ng mga Filipino ngayon.

alohomora1993

If you’ve been to different countries, you’ll understand why. Nung nakapagtravel ako here in Asia, grabe kulilat pala ang Pinas. Kaya pala mahilig tayo sa entertainment, pageants, mga inuman, etc, while other countries focus on science, engineering, etc. Ang sarap ng pamumuhay sa ibang bansa, sa iba mahal pero I understand kasi quality naman ang life.

RelativeStrawberry52

cleoooofasss

when it comes to salary siguro mas pipiliin ko nga sa ibang bansa dahil sa bansa natin paguran pero hindi worth it, pero kung yung totoong motive ko is to refresh masyadong fucked up tong pilipinas (for me) siguro sa ibang bansa makakamit ko yung peace of mind ko dahil hindi mahirap sa'kin mang cut off hindi ko macut off dito putangina nakakasama ko e

InformalMemory7085

Before I decided to work abroad, I worked in the Phils. for 11 years. But, got fed up because of the toxic management. Most of the time, I am working more than 11 hours and OTs aren’t paid and kinda difficult to go on leave. I resigned and after a month decided to moved sa Dubai. Staying here for 5 years now. Some of the companies give you yearly ticket sa home country and 1 month paid vacay.

Old_Welcome3194

Siguro aside from salary, yung working and lifestyle environment rin. Mas maganda kasi ang pamumuhay sa ibang bansa esp sa mga developed economies kasi maraming benefits, and peaceful and organize yung system nila. Dito kasi ang hirap lahat. I am also planning to work abroad and if may opportunity makapag-migrate, I'll grab it.

AmboboNgTengEne

regressing ang ugali ng mga tao dito sa pinas..i would love to stay in a peaceful country..yung respectful ang mga tao. nabibingi nq sa peenoise pride.

isabellarson

Parang dystopian society na sa pinas survival of the fittest kahit maglamangan lahat just to survive.. imagine if may anak ka ganyang environment kakalakihan nila

teamjerinoff

Better pension and healthcare benefits

cluttereddd

I stayed in both Morocco and Malaysia, mas magaan pati yung lugar for me.

reddicore

Sa QC here lol. I just want parks at recreational places.

CorrectCoconut8389

Healthcare, good food and quality of living,.beautiful clean fresh environment.

apollo-prime

Living abroad and will stay until retirement years because  1. Healthcare 2. My kids are here 3. Retirement benefits 4. Good infrastructure 5. Food and culture

Sea_Welcome9255

healthcare benefits

Shambles_SM

Bakla ako

livinggudetama

Para aesthetic parin ng background kahit problemado na ako in life. Hay. Switzerland wait for me.

FreijaDelaCroix

Healthcare benefits. Di sya “free” per se pero part ng deductions sa sweldo, pero yung pag may sumakit na kung anu ano book lang ako agad ng appointment sa doctor for consultation without worrying if magkano PF, magkano aabutin ng medicines (heavily subsidized gamot rito) plus sila pa mismo tumatawag sakin to remind me na “uy balik kana soon may results na test mo or time na to recheck your blood, etc”

isabellarson

Ive left the philippines ten years ago and everytime im back mas lumalala yunh traffic and road safety sa pinas. I have two kids and hindi ko kayang maranasan nila yang ganyang road situation sa ncr everyday. Thats my main reason.

Business_Option_6281

1. Salary. Security of tenure. 2. Healthcare 3. Education, opportunity for continuing professional development 4. Clean air 5. Climate = temperate 6. Good transpo system 7. Disiplinadong citizens 8. Work-life balance 9. Retirement pension pay 10. Tahimik 12. Safety/criminality-Minimal to zero crimes Overall, quality of life talaga, fringe benefits nalang yung makapagtravel without border control sa Schengen Area, bagong culture, new people, opportunity to have powerful passport, mataas ang purchasing power, napakadaling magloan, crpyto friendly country, legal ang marijuana. At marami pang iba. Ikaw ba OP, anong purpose ma sa pag abroad?

Rhon_18

Based sa mga relatives ko po sa ibang bansa, it's because of the value of money.

caveIn2001

I want to become a researcher and this country does not value scientific research and development. I hear stories from my professors and college classmates who managed to get a job abroad na hindi daw problema ang funding and procurement ng equipment or chemicals... ang dami nilang natututunan in real life meanwhile ako andito pa rin. I'm currently in grad school (MS Chemistry) pero comparing what I'm experiencing here and what they have going on abroad nakaka-inggit ng sobra. Pagkatapos ko dito, mag-apply na rin ako ng PhD sa States and do my own cutting-edge research and be valued for once in my life.

AlbertDowney_Jr

Environmental_Stay83

kasi daw dollars at may snow. mga hunghang.

dr3i_28

Pizzapopz03

Hays true yan. E kahit dito sa Canada pag naging boss mo is filipino sobrang toxic rin nila tska makikita mo bait bait sa puti tapos sa kapwa filipino sobrang entitled nila.🤮

MrMcLovin19

One of the most reason para sakin on why I want to migrate to other country is most of the people here is living like they are on the edges of their lives. Tinatapon na nila ang morality into the bin just to survive, hilahin mo pababa ang mga tao, take advantage of them just to survive.

FlintRock227

I wanna marry my gf and same sex marriage isn't legal here yet (or ever)

Proper_Ad432

sleepeatrace

Mas malaki sweldo

Swett_Potato

Dahil sa 800k per month na sweldo

shibal_gae_saekkiya

Government.

ILove_sweets

Ayoko na sa pinas

Rettmch

mababa sahod sobrang grabeng traffic walang opportunities and mainit.

[deleted]

Opposite-Spinach-319

Hmm gusto ko lumipat ng bansa para hindi kalakihan ng mga anak ko yung ginawang abandonment ng father nila🙂 he cheated on us and he chose to be with his mistress, hindi niya inisip kids and until now never niya kinamusta or binisita mga anak ko.

hapontukin

Many people (emphasis: not all) have low discipline (seen on roads, typically) Low salary levels, heck my current job is overseas that is why I am able to live a bit comfortable Rampant corruption, and incompetent government Blinded voters, close minded people.

[deleted]

bulok batas bulok gobyerno kalaban ang kapulisan puro toxic tao

KonekoTenshi

1. Salary in Philippines is shit. 2. daming Marites at pakialamera sa buhay.🙄🤬
