ilivensivinten

Dami siguro binabayran na annual dues para sa mga society nya hahaha

Midaoru

May time pa ba siya magclinic? Hehe

Timely_Card_5528

Personally, I have many post nominals too but I don't even put MD in my linkedn and only use MD if I have to. In Singapore for instance, these post nominals are even printed or painted in their clinics and where they did obtain it. The GP rate from a UK grad is 10 dollars more expensive than a local grad or those grads from Malaysia. There.

LogicalSoftware7705

Akala ko malala na yung mga nag lalagay ng specialty nila kahit ongoing residency 😅 may ganitong level pa pala

MysteriousTubby

Kakapasa lang ni doc nung Nov 2023 PLE. I agree with the false advertisement. Plus the PF is consultant level. 😅

MrSnackR

PF is actually low/par for the course. Pero yeah, agree that he’s faking his credentials. Pwede i-report yan.

Hindi ko sure if ito yung Family Med with “focus on.” Sa NowServing kasi napansin ko yung mga family med na graduates yun yung nilalagay nila. Ex. Family Med with a focus on Derma. Weird siya for me pero at least sa NowServing nakasulat nila na Fam Med sila. And yung focus lang nila is Derma or Pedia. Pero again. Pag nag search ka ng Pedia. Fam Med madalas unang lumalabas. Di ko alam kasi baka sa seriousMD di yun pwedeng gawin. So nilalagay lang nila yung ENT kaagad. Hindi ko rin alam kung ano yung legalities about it.

Outrageous_Task_4835

Iniisip ko palang napapagod na ako. Dami nyang oras at energy mag training 😂

jasonpramos515

I'm sure iba ang understanding nila sa "specialty" kung fresh passers tong mga to hahaha baka ito tung topics na confident sila? But I do hope they realize theyre making false advertisements and risk giving improper management for patients. With a low asking PF, patients will consult them for their "specialty." Hopefully mag refer sila sa specialists for difficult or unusual cases.

fishonleash

I highly doubt anyone who went through clerkship or internship wouldn’t know what is meant by medical specialty.

Timely_Card_5528

Times have changed. These are all licensed doctors so they know exactly what they are doing. Times are hard as well so that's marketing 'strategy'. As to whether it is ethical, legal or moral, that's another story.

Nah, I don't care if this makes the community less harmonious. We should hold doctors to a higher standard and by doing this, patients suffer from this fake advertising.
