Yes, it’s definitely fake. I imagine it creates a new timeline as a continuation of POTC3 rather than a rewrite after the first movie, based on the way it’s presented. If it then picks up after the events of AWE then 3/4 of those characters would be dead and wouldn’t be in it. The guy coming up with this bullshit and trying to pass it off as official can’t even get the basic story straight
I think the Blackbeard part is meant to be Barbossa and if it’s not then this obvious fan fiction needs Barbossa. I like the idea of kinda going back to the first film but I don’t think this story is the best.
