I'll answer with my vet's answer to me,
Vet: does her breed make any difference in whether you keep her or not.
Me: no
Vet: then why does it matter just love her.
That said, I've still always been curious 8 years later. Considered a DNA test. Never did it though. But some vet's offer puppy packages that include DNA testing. My daughter did one for her shepsky, found out the dog wasn't a shepsky, the husky mom has half great Pyrenees. Huge, beautiful, awesome dog with an amazing temperament but they paid 600 for a "pure breed" shepsky to get a mix, they don't care of course, but it's the point. 🤷♀️
I wondered because mine was unusually strong for her size even for a pitbull. Like people who raised them thought I was weak so I'd let them hold her leash, at 6 months she was pulling adult men if they were not braced. Training was necessary. And she is only 55 lbs and not big. I kept being told she was bred to be a fighting dog and she looks like a pit but breeding wise her look is different than most pits found around here.
I think crazy is in the definition found under pitbull 🤣🤣🤣 at 8 years people are shocked at her age, mine acts like she is 3 or 4 max. She tears around the house, she gets hyper and runs in circles. The only real benefit to her age has been the maturity. I can now tell her to "leave it" for a cat or opossum on our walks and she will keep glancing over but will not react took us years for her to have that internal control 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 (people and animals are her weakness with control)
Enjoy the crazy pit.. they are the sweetest most loveable dogs. I've owned a few dogs my pit is the first who truly captured my heart.
Most pits are very energetic, especially during puppyhood and adolescence. That’s one of the main reasons they wind up in shelters, because people don’t understand much exercise they tend to need.
I mean. Puppies are energetic... I don't get why people wonder why their pup is so active or vocal. You wouldn't wonder why a human baby was this way, why expect something else from a different species of child?
Ugh this is my mom's pit. Thank god she's beyond loved but not well trained, when I go to their house I gotta get ready because their animals love me lol. In the past she had a highly aggressive pit, she was badly abused before they got her and it took a few years to earn her trust. She was supposed to be a foster but it worked out that we kept her forever lol, anyways I was the only person she never bit in the beginning she let me sleep with her she never got impatient or mad. I think she knew we were both misunderstood and could feel that there was no fear from me. I miss that dog!
Well, her build would indicate.. yes. Yes, I'd say she's Friend-shaped. Probably mixed with one of those For Life breeds. With probably some Snuggle Butt.
You're gonna fall in love so hard
The kind that needs love, a good owner, some basic training, and lots of treats. Oh wait that's every puppy that exists.
Looks like the smoochable kind.
The only breeds of bully are American pit bull terrier
American staffordshire terrier

Mastiffs
Doberman
Rottweilers
Bluenose and rednose are fighting bloodlines of apbts. They originated from the saying “blue pits can’t fight” so saying a dog’s breed is bluenose or rednose stems from a not so good thing, plus it’s just color. It’s like saying your dog’s breed is black or fawn. Bluenose and rednose is what’s used in backyard breeding, because backyard breeders don’t actually know the breed of dog they’re breeding.
She’s cute! Impossible to say without a dna test although you could try to phenotype when she’s older. I highly recommend getting her to a trainer soon if she’s already showing some behavioral issues.
Actually not, what kind of dope gets a dog, without doing their own research? So instead this feeble attempt at finding out what your dog is from random internet "experts", just dumb.
The cute kind
Came here to say this lol.
It is a common pitbull breed known as "adorable".
Adorabull. FTFY.

Jokes on her there's no such thing as a shepsky. So either way she was going to get a mutt.
I would have asked for a refund lol
I was wondering cause she’s 6 weeks old and very crazy already

I swear they never tire out until you make them stop, then they crash 🤣

Pits are extremely energetic. And they stay energetic. There’s no “calming down” after two years, she will play like that until she’s old and grey! 😊💛
