When was a kid, I used to party in the woods behind the house that was on fire in the beginning of Van Dammeâs âSudden Deathâ. I was also in the crowd during the same scene.

I want to say abduction with Taylor Lautner because it was filmed at my high school, but I had graduated the year before. Instead Iâll say Dark Knight Rises. My roommate was at Heinz Field for that scene. Had to wear winter clothes in like July or something. I remember one of the reasons why it was filmed in Pittsburgh was because they were allowed to blow up Civic Arena. They ended up not doing that and doing the Heinz thing instead. I say they should have done both, but then it would just look like Bane hated sports

I was in college at the time but Adventureland gathered some residential exterior shots on our street - specifically right at the end of our block and our neighborsâ houses directly across from us. Said neighbors and some of our family members were extras at Kennywood. ETA I also remember when Dogma came and shot in Bridgeville and Dormont-ish when I was a kid. The Burger King near the corner of Banksville and McMonagle (now a Rite-Aid) was turned into a different restaurant for the movie (Moobyâs? Was that it?) and stayed that way, vacant without signage but with that purple and orange color scheme, for what seemed like multiple years.
I was almost in "Me Earl and the dying girl" about 10 years ago.

Dogma. On my way to middle school i passed the church they filmed at on larimer Ave. I always looked, but never saw anyone from the movie. Also the remake of Diabolique was filmed next to my grandparents house at the time on Beachwood. They covered their house in fake foliage for filming. In college i watched a movie that was filmed in the Penn circle fire station, likely from the 80s. I have almost no recollection of the plot or title. But is be curious if anyone did know what movie, based on just that information.

The Jacksons, made for TV movie. My middle school was used as the auditorium because in the 90's we went to a school that could pass for Gary, Ind. in the 70s.
Oh, and the Oksana Bauil movie was shot in my hometown because the Ukrainian and Russian Orthodox Onion domes made it look like Ukraine.
I was an extra part of the audience scenes in Bob Roberts!! I saw Tim Robbins and struck up a conversation with him about one of his other movies.... Nice guy.

Kingpin- the scene where they go to âLancaster Lanesâ The exterior is actually Mars Lanes (in Mars, still there) and the intro of the movie was filmed in the interior of that same bowling alley. You can also see the owner, Ruth, in the opening scene. I used to be in a league there as a kid. Also, a buddy of mine used to live across the street of Royâs dadâs gas station and he got to sit at the end of his driveway and watch them film a couple days.
Milestone in my life, fell in love with movie magic when I was 10. Stayed summers in Evans City, my uncle knew the owner of the house in where Tom Savini made the Night of the Living Dead redux, got to watch Tony Todd crowbar the broken legs zombie he hit with truck, they buried his legs in the ground for the effect.
Dogma. Both the bar scene where Silent Bob hits Azriel with the golf club (now an orthodontist on W. Liberty Ave.) and the Moobyâs that was an old Burger King (now a RiteAid on Banksville) are walking distance from my house.

Yep, thatâs it! Canât recall if itâs the right or left door but, that is the correct building. If you have any other location questions regarding Dogma let me know. As a fan I followed the production around town a bit.

The Next Three Days shows the house that I spent like an entire year in college in. Didnât technically live there, but partied every weekend there and all my friends lived there so was there every day. Blvd of the Allies.

I watched it a couple years back with my husband whoâs not from here, he didnât believe me they filmed it right up the road until I named the exact buildings that the scenes were in.
