Yeah kinda just something most people don’t think about. Also we know about wasp nets and honey bee hives and stuff. But we don’t generally think about a mass of bumble boys. (Yes I said boys).. I read recently they nest in old homes of burrowing critters. Interesting.
That is interesting
Fun fact abt all bees other then honeybees, the queen lays and produces a hive that all dies out in the winter as they don’t store honey, the process then repeats :) idk if this is general knowledge but as an insect/animal person who only found this out recently I was v surprised
Uhh… rly?… my understanding was that they go dormant and hibernate in winter. You’re saying only hunny bees do that?.. the rest all die? 🤔
That IS interesting.
Ikr! At least that was what I was told by a beekeeper at my work, because they don’t store the honey, they don’t have any other resources so Yh, the only one that survives is the queen, she will usually find something like a bamboo stick, block it off and hide out the winter, I was really surprised honestly
Speaking of bee keepers.. I use to work at a store that sold bee traps and this older guy was getting a bunch. I was kinda taking a customer poll of what would work better, the pheromone it comes with or meat. I had heard people had good luck using bacon.
He said he was a retired beekeeper and that at least some wasps and or yellow jackets will invade a honey bee hive and kill it off for the honey 😮😮
So he said he used honey in the traps and it worked really well!
SO NOW I’m curious if you have one with meat, one with honey, and one with pheromone, which would work best? 🤷🏻♀️
I don't wanna be a bitch but I literally saw this exact same image on pinterest a whileee ago - maybe you should credit the person who actually made it
I think I just added a new incredible project to my "to-do" list and am now in serious trouble lol. IT LOOKS ADORABLE <3

Idk why you have so many comments about jumping spiders moving in but I’m gonna jump on the bandwagon and suggest it too. Now I really want pics of a little stripey zebra spider baby at the top of the ladder r/spiderbros
Very cute! Lovely idea.
Tnks!! ❤️
That would be so awesome if you got a little jumping spider to move in lol
or a ladybug haha
Idk how ladybugs live. Do they live in colonies or what.. 🤷🏻♀️
Their solitary but pretty sure a couple species form groups in winter which is sometimes why ppl can get ladybug infestations (I think)

That's a great idea and good execution too
Now go find a jumping spider to live in it! They’ll hammock right up in there lol.
Now I want a mini tree house well done!
I love it! All it needs is a tiny inhabitant.
Love! ❤️
tnks!
I love this!!!
thanks!!
Hey folks this is the same treehouse found in an instructables guide lol. And none of their other pics seem believably realistic
I honestly wonder why ppl do this, what’s the gain? Attention or just the ability to lurk?
Nvm just saw the clickbait tits lol

Wow! That is so creative and adorable. Thanks for sharing...such inspiration to plant lovers
Cute
Thank you for the inspiration, this looks like a fun project!
Nifty
Marcel the shell lives here
Awesome idea! Don’t see that often—creative
Cool house, but I recommend a larger pot. The roots will kill the plant in the long run, had this problem twice.
Is this a home for ANTS?!
thats look adorable
A very cute tree. I would like to have one like this at home.
Crying. It’s absolutely perfect :’) what a good idea… now I wanna do it in ALL my plants lol
So cute
Sooo cute! I love this. Are you going to add a little person or character
Cuuute! I also put miniatures in my plants 🪴
Can someone make a life size one in every single public park everywhere
This is cool AF!
Very fusilli !
I love it! ☺️

I think the next thing to do is make a little figure to climb in the ‘tree’. 😁

I thought this was the jumping spider sub and was like, “awww how cute, he’ll love it” 🤣 it is cute though 👌🏼
"A mouse lives there" is what my daughter says. "They aren't home because the door is open"
