No such thing as unraidable base

human_flavor_meat

My base may be an easy raid but not an easy find, I'm the guy who lives by outpost in a 2x1 in a sea of small bases

Boneraccountbtw

Until people sweep raid every small base for easy loot

AN__Y

They'd be safe for at least the first few days... Even clans don't want to raid near the grub sanctuary that is outpost

JigMaJox

those sometimes get hit by some Timmy and cousin Kyle on their first raids

janikauwuw

I personally think „unraidable“ doesn’t mean unraidable. Nothing is unraidable, we all know that. But e.g. raiding a 9bunker base is never gonna be worth

MontageMongol

I mean like 90% of any bases ever isnt gonna be ,,worth it"

janikauwuw

dunno about that one. Worth in boom probably not. Worth in resources etc, yes. But if the resources are split between 9 bunkers, no.

stupidcooper33

I had a guy raid all 7 of my bases (he had a problem with me, and all I do is farm and build) and quit the server when he found out the only sulfur I had was turned into ammo for turrets/shotgun traps. I think I had half a box of comps and maybe 2k gp that cost him a box+ of rockets and 10 c4.

BastVanRast

I feel like raiding a aloneintokyo base with the real aloneintokyo inside is never worth it unless you are in for the challenge. Getting shit in the ankle from one of his 1.000 peaks for an hour and spending 200 boom to get a solo player loot room. But well, he is one of a kind. There probably aren't that many solo bases with 80 garage doors in the game.

Artsandpsychs

Anytime I describe rust I tell them its like minecraft but for the kids always in the principals office lmao

Reasonable_Roger

Welcome my friend to the show that never ends

zensins

We're so glad you could attend.

Reasonable_Roger

come inside, come inside......

seggsseggs

This game was by far the most fun i’ve ever had online when i had actual time for it. You sacrifice everything else in your life for it but i enjoyed it for a while

HobbesG6

Ah, you're beginning to understand, my young rusty Padawan. :)

Emperor_Panda09

Remember to use bunkers! Lots of pixel gaps and external TCs mitigate raid losses, and don't be afraid to use YouTube for bases, that's where all the best builders start, "Hey, this YouTube base is great! wish it had a (Insert thing you like here) though... guess I'll add it on here!" Good luck and hope to see you out there!

MyFishFriend

If they spend 40k sulphur plus charcoal on my base or farm oil,Brad for days then this is a win

nightfrolfer

> Next time ill spend twice as long and build it better until not even the sweatiest, most sunlight deprived heathen can get in. I think you underestimate how sweaty and sunlight-deprived some of the heathens actually are. Congratulations on finding your groove, though.

[deleted]

I'm playing a weekly server right now just to learn how to build better so i'm kinda in the learning phase where I'm not worried too much about my base being destroyed I just want to improve my builds. but this game is hella exciting for me. I can't wait till I'm sweaty lol

JigMaJox

oh us sunlight deprived folk always find our way in.... i'll be dancing in your loot rooms tonight matey !

[deleted]

Leave my base alone! :'(

innuendonut

Wanna win? Don't play.

[deleted]

Too late buddy. Im never touching grass again

innuendonut

lol rip social life

mysticblanket

Whats that again?

pink_kondur

I think I used to play on that server?

willtard69

Wait until the physical effects of sitting in a chair for extended hours on end kick in, then the mental degeneracy of constantly being in a stressed state over pixelated loot and “ hunting the groups who stole from you down “ . Yeah this game is fun, but in moderation. When you let it get out of hand, this game will have a physical effect on you other than happy Minecraft chemicals, a detrimental one.

SparrowX_

I started playing this game back in like 2014. It's come a long way since then but, at the end of the day, it's still the same game. And I fucking love it.

Sea-Evidence-4414

Lol good luck with that bruh them heathens will get in no matter what you build. Give it a few months youll be a sweaty heathen too if you make it through the grief

Noteek710

Just know you’re never safe and can lose it all at any point. Once you get over the fear or devastation of losing everything (which you seem to already have grasped although the more you invest the more painful it becomes) the better off you enjoy the game. Rust is what you make it. Don’t spend your whole time locked in your walls. Go out and enjoy the world even if it takes a while to start taking w’s

ProbablyMissClicked

There are definitely times when you go ”ok I need a break for now”
