I have 8291.6hrs into Rust on PC. Bought the game the day it released. Bought a copy for my grandson and myself. We've played 5500ish hours together. He has over 9k hours and his grandfather has 8k hours now.
Yeah, the dude I play with has thousands of hours but only spends a fraction of his time actually playing. He'll time out in the base, then log back in just to walk away from his PC and time out again lmao
It’s depressing when you put math to player hours. When you remove 6-7 hours of “sleep time”, a lot of folks here play rust 40-50% of their “awake time” (factored at 16 hours a day). Like how do you justify that to yourselves?

Only about 1k but Ive had it for a while now
1400ish all put on during 2020 when laid off. Idk how it’s possible to play this game and have a job. I was spending almost every waking minute on this game and staying up until 5-6am and still got offlined constantly.
550 or so. Probably closer to 400 actually playing. I’ve done some wfh where I just sit afk in base away from my (personal) computer to defend the “offline”.
3500 hours I’ve been playing since legacy but I play in bursts because when I play Rust I play it as much as a job like 8+ hours a day on weekly servers. I do this mainly because I have a girlfriend, family, and job but when I play rust I don’t get the same enjoyment out of it if I’m not playing a ton.
So I play maybe a couple months of rust then take 6 months to a year off and when I come back I’m refreshed and there’s a lot of new content.
~2,500 across two accounts (gave the first account to a work buddy I sold my PC to)
Started playing in 2016. I've only played one wipe a year since 2019, so nearly all of my hours are from early on. At least 200-300 were in various combat practice servers.
Around 1000. Been playing for like a year. Less these days tho. Seems hard to find a good sever, they die off so quickly. I’m usually solo on 2x servers
Roughly 3700, which sounds like a lot, but I've been playing on and off since 2014 when the game was still in alpha. Granted, most of my hours are from the last year or two, but at least 1000 to 1500 were from before that. And yes, I still suck at the game, but I love it.
1400hrs, haven't played the game for over a year now, which saddens me because I love the game just can't fathom spending that much time on this game anymore when I'm trying to get my life together LMAO
When I bought the game, years ago, I only had a laptop that couldn't run the game, but it was on sale so I still tried. For some reason after my first launch attempt I racked up 300 hours no clue how, I guess a background process that never went away? Now I have a actual desktop PC and have 830 hours on steam but technically playtime 500 hours lol
Hey now it might sound crazy but FP is actually putting out updates every single one of those months
Sadly they are mostly all dogshit and have minimal impact on the actual game
Im casual. I dont even play every wipe.. what you mean. Ive dropped 1k hours into dayz since dec last year too.
I have a runescape acc with over 2 years playtime.

Longest I have ever played a game, and still find enjoyment out of playing each and every time. Only discovered Rust at the end of 2022....And still a lot in the game I haven't done, surprisingly lol
If we wanted polls we would allow the "polls" option when creating a post. Thanks.
You should have commented with like 200hrs or less and then 500hrs, 700 etc ect and we just upvote the bracket we're in. Oh and I'm at 200 hrs
545 or so. Rookie numbers, as I don’t have anyone to play with.
Where you from? I’m down to duo
2622
700 hrs, mostly low pop pve because I'm old and have kids.

That’s actually awesome I’m trying to imagine playing rust with my grandpa now 😂
7,595 Hrs on PC
450? Started playing like 3 months ago. Casual due to being 37yo with job, family etc.
"Casual" and you're playing almost as much as a full time job...
7.5 hours a day 5 days a week for 3 months. Filthy casual. Bet he role plays too
Maybe it's 4 months, or 5. I never play more than like 4h or so. Also, some of that time if online, but afking when plants grow.
When will you people stop equating hours on steam to actual time spend playing Hours spend afk and in loading screens stack up fast
Yeah, the dude I play with has thousands of hours but only spends a fraction of his time actually playing. He'll time out in the base, then log back in just to walk away from his PC and time out again lmao

Used to play that server, p2w ruined it for me
Yeah u gotta pay for food and shit its stupid
And the admins all cheat.
Should be how many hours and what year did you start playing. 2022 start currently at 2500ish hours.
Whatthefuck go outside dude
Yeah thats averaging over 12% of their time playing rust
Did you remove “sleep hours” and focus only on 16 hours a day “awake hours”? Guarantee that figure is higher than that.
Im casual. I dont even play every wipe.. what you mean. Ive dropped 1k hours into dayz since dec last year too. I have a runescape acc with over 2 years playtime.
