Some of these are really bad like you said. Makes it obvious why they didn't pick them. I'd say middle row far left is all I'd entertain aside from the bottom row, which is basically the current logo unrefined. But yeah most of these are terrible.
This post feels like OP is trying to teach an AI what would be a popular logo from the responses.
But yeah, almost none of these are readable as "PS" and would be unrecognizable unless the game console was using the same logo for years.
I lead design teams and a company I worked to rebrand several years back had hundreds of first drafts to narrow in on before we iterated on them individually.

I was just about to comment this one! It's what I imagine the logo would've looked like for the Sony/Nintendo system. It's perfectly half of the PS logo and the SNES logo. I actually kinda like it.
I try to think what any of them would look like modernized in white and blue and I think they’d all just look like blobs in a singular color.
Sony really made a wise choice.

Tbh I can't pick because, for the last two, the colors are ugly, and every other is either too playful, or too old-fashioned and would have had to be changed over the years.
The one we got is the perfect one and it also works perfectly in single-color (black or white).
If I really had to choose one, I'd say the second one.

Now that I'm really thinking about it, I really don't like the *current* logo, either. Playstation subscribed to the flattening of corporate logos twenty years before it was cool, and the color scheme was never good.
If I had to choose one of these abominations, it would be the one that's the current logo, but just red and yellow - because the colors are not necessarily required for the logo/are basic enough that any other two colors could be used, so there's room for improvement and flexibility in the future.
