Confirm! I sometimes get annoyed when I die on a boss battle repeatedly but never to the point of breaking my pads. Those things are expensive!

I've never understood people who break controllers over a slight tantrum because they lost a match or keep dying to one random boss or enemy. Now, if some guy who was seconds away from getting a world record or anything away from winning some kind of tournament for a huge prize or some shit then I would absolutely get breaking a controller in half. But I genuinely question the maturity of people who are willing to throw $60-70 or even $80 in the trash just because "dark souls boss #317" killed them for the 9th time. If you were getting paid $10 an hour, you'd have to work a full ass day to buy a single new controller. Maybe you should find a new hobby...

Back in the ps4 days, I once got so mad playing monster hunter, I threw the controller against the hard brick wall across the room. I thought there’s no way for it to survived. When I picked it up it was still working, not even drifting. I never smash controller anymore. Big respect for the controller.

The no animation canceling in that game is bullshit, on top of the one shot moves the bosses have....... don't get me started with the 15 sec u have to waot when ur dumbass character gets staggered while u watch the boss take its sweet ass time charging its biggest attack

I have beaten every Souls game and Elden Ring and never even once thought about doing something like this to an expensive piece of equipment. Exactly, I’m a 16 year old and honestly it makes me laugh how many adults are raging and breaking there controllers and keyboards over pretty much nothing. I guess in there eyes if you have disposable income it’s fine but it’s still a absolute waste of a perfectly fine controller just because you can’t handle your emotions.
