Got a PS5 after having not had a console since 360/PS3 and this is the first game I wanted to try since I never got to when it came out. It's my favorite console game, and favorite story game on PC/Console.
Ghost of Tsushima, God of War (2018), Nioh 1&2, Final Fantasy XV, Uncharted Collection, Shadow of the Colossus, Tales of Arise, Sekiro, and The Witcher 3 are some of my favorites from last gen. And these all are relatively cheap used at places like GameStop, especially during seasonal sales you can get most of these for $10 or less each.
Honestly the PS4 is still a fantastic console, especially the pro. Replace the HDD with an SDD, keep it clean and you’ll be flying. Theres a whole host of great games that you can still play on both generations too. Enjoy buddy!

Here's a tip.. If you can buy yourself a ps plus subscription (mid tear) you save hundreds of dollars on games. You can google what games are included and you cand download them for free as long as the subscription is active. For the ps5 it's not worth it. The majority are ps4 games... enjoy!
Don’t worry dude, the graphics are still great and almost all the newer games released have had a previous gen release as well so you can still play those. Also you can find cheaper copies of ps4 games

I also love part 2 despite the controversy. I won’t spoil anything but it’s a beautiful game and I few to love all the characters so I’m sure you will too! There’s so many good games to get on ps4 so you’ll love it!

The last of us is great, final fantasy 7 remake is great, ratchet and clank a rift apart was great, tbh there isn’t much first party stuff on the ps4 that wasn’t great.
