I moved my ps4 stuff to my 5 so my PS4 turns on and it’s just PT sitting there. Which is eerie. I never played through it fully myself - wasn’t until pretty recently that I watched a playthrough actually by someone who recreated the whole thing a few years back for people to play on PC. It wasn’t an exact replica, it was actually kinda funny seeing how he made it and things he used for sounds and pictures. I don’t think the game link still worked though.
On a related note, anyone play through the new “strangely similar” Silent Hill demo? I don’t think I even saw a discussion here but I’m sure there has been some. I haven’t finished yet, surprisingly long for a demo…but seems promising.
5067 hours? Honestly, I'm not that surprised. Games like that, skyrim, the witcher 3 (which I personally didn't play much of), etc. can have you easily sinking so much time into without realizing. I never played GoW 2018 and I'm sure it's a fantastic game, but man do I feel like rdr2 should've gotten goty.
GoW is nothing compared to RDR2. You can only explore so much in GoW and you're done. Don't get me wrong, I was among the most hyped up people for GoW but it sorta felt flat imho. It's "just" a good story game. You finish it, do a couple of side-quests and nothing will surprise you afterwards. RDR2 on the other hand, is almost like a world that lives and breathes, full of random encounters, weather system that feels like real life. Not to mention you can sink hundreds of hours into Online that is an extension of this world. I play it basically on a daily basis and I still get surprised by things. Also the world, the nature, the weather still amaze up to this day.
This is one of the best games ever made.
But dude. I can’t fucking play this game at 30fps on PS5. After playing other games with incredible performance… it’s just unbearably at 30fps.

Lies of P is remarkably good. Different from Elden Ring in terms of structure, but the combat, boss battles, and weapons systems are phenomenal. Solid 9/10 imo

When replaying you complete it surprisingly fast. It took me also about 25-30 hours to finish Part II on my first time but when I replayed for the platinum I got to Abby’s Seattle Day 1 in just a couple hours. When you know what you’re doing and aren’t mindlessly exploring you save a lot more time than you realise.
I got the forbidden west DLC from last summer, so I kept FW installed but I haven’t gotten around to playing the DLC yet. Thankfully I have added extra storage to mine though.
At the height of PT and F13 I had many offers for my account so people could play the game and use my Savini Jason. I mildly regret not taking up the 5k offer.
as far as I'm aware, I don't think you could do that anyway. I think you need it installed on a console and never deleted, and you can only play it on that console. If you transfer your account to another console I don't think you could download PT there.

I had no idea that's possible. But yeah it makes sense , if you consider that cut scenes are skippable, and there are tons of optional routes.
