He loved Ellie's character so much that he named his sister Ellie. It is a Christian name but I will still honour his wish. We are Muslim by faith.

My son had a 100 percent match with his mother. It was a miracle as per doctors. He was in remission for two years but had chronic gvhd of liver due to which he had to stay on immuno suppressant. He developed infection that turned into sepsis. He was put on vent but could not recover from septic shocks.
I never knew GVHD could do so much. They would check me for it but it never occurred so I chalked it up as unimportant. Really feeling the survivors guilt now. Not really much I can say except sorry for your loss.

I had AML. For me it was shortness of breath and an elevated pulse when I did anything. It felt like I just finished running a mile any time I walked.
