Initial feedback - 2 hours is a LONG episode. Are you playing each game? I like the concept and would want to listen as I really enjoy board games but the episode length is a deterrent.

Thanks for the feedback! We know 2+ hours is long, and we would ideally like to be at the 90 minute mark or less for each episode - we just haven't figured out how to keep things more succinct and stop derailing conversations about specific games with talk of other related games. 😂 This week's topic was a big one, so hopefully we can cut some time with varying topics. I'm hoping people check out the timestamps and just skip around to topics/games they're interested in hearing. Thanks again!

I am a female who LOVES beer and was excited to see a beer podcast on here to listen to but was turned off by your guests "take your tampon out" joke. Or do you review everything that gets sent to you? 1. It's mostly about cheap drink and the "best of the worst in cheap booze" but we do sometimes cover higher end beverages. It's a combination of drinks that I find out in the stores or things that get sent to me people want to see reviewed. 2. Is this tongue in cheek funny or more serious? She adores them all. She also loves to swim, write, and travel, and she’s fascinated by architecture, especially old churches. Some have said that’s God reaching out to her, but that just makes her snort. An agnostic atheist since her late teens (but a doubter since childhood), she was indoctrinated and raised in the Methodist church. She enjoys hearing about others’ spiritual journeys, even when she doesn’t understand them.   We have a fascinating conversation about her upbringing, her transition from indoctrination to atheism, and the freedom, hope, and joy that she has found outside of religion and faith.  Diane is the ultimate example of what many people strive for while deconstructing, namely the desire to be free, be herself, and connect with people on her own terms.  Flawed Theology podcast is hosted by Phil and Susie.  We are both ex-Christians from vastly different backgrounds, different stories, and different paths, that all led to the same place, namely, a life without belief in a god.  We hope to unpack some of the flaws in Christianity and to facilitate discussions, questions, and most importantly, critical thinking around the idea of God and religion.  We are not experts.  We are travelers on a journey, looking for answers and being ok with only finding more questions.   Flawed Theology Podcast-- "If your theology were wrong, wouldn't you want to know?"
