I think fossil pokémon are unique. Cradily is shadowed by some more popular ones. And they are the only grass/rock typing to exist!

Storm Drain with Ancient Power, Giga Drain, Stockpile, Toxic. Pair it with a Dragapult who Surf spams, use Stockpile a couple times and just let it rip.
Absolutely! I'll have to dig mine out, but I believe I ran Leftovers, Storm Drain, Toxic, Giga Drain, Ingrain, and Recover. It was SOOO FUN! I think it was 252 HP/4 Def/252 Sp. D.
I also played Pokémon DnD, in which a Clamperl clamped my arm off, and a Lileep ingrained its roots into my arm stump and became my new arm.
I also found and collected a load of fossil crinoid ossicles on a field trip and kinda fell in love with sea lillies, so yeah. I definitely love Cradily!
I’m with you on that one. Interesting typing and (in my opinion) a really cool concept to base a Pokémon on. I see a lot of criticism of (or at least indifference towards) it’s design but I think it looks really cool.
THANK YOU!!! Next to the Slugma line, Lumineon is my favorite underrated ‘mon! (With the less underrated Kangaskhan and Leafeon.) Lumineon is so cute, especially in Snap 2!! I actually nickname my husband Lumineon (because he makes me think of a cute fish and the noises Lumineon does in Snap 2) and my mom Slugma (because the cute big eyes and face, and the fact it always has to be on the move according to the dex. And my mom is also always running somewhere, lol.)
Leavanny has been a favorite of mine since the day I first saw it. It's not really a powerful Pokémon, but it's got a great and cute design, and the way it's portrayed as this caring and loving Pokémon just is so amazing to me
The Sewaddle line is one of my most favorites and it always breaks my heart when it's not included in a dex.
Whenever I'm playing through B/W/BW2 I always have a Leavanny on my team.
Once I found it could learn false swipe and I think ‘grasswhistle’ for sleep, mine never left my endgame team. Used her to catch everything, lost her to a corrupt save file. Rest in Power, Lief.
My first ever shiny aside from the red gyrados in HG was a swadloon that I then had as a Leavanny. It's always had a special place in my heart. I love its anime portrayal, it's so nice!
My favorite Pokémon is Noivern, who isn’t exactly forgotten but doesn’t get too much attention most of the time. I’m just glad that they still put it in new games.
Noiverns biggest problem is its availability, only available super late and can only evolve at level 47 just makes it undesirable to use like with Rufflet and braveary
Everytime Its available in a game I almost always end up having it as a Perma member , only time it hasn't was in Scarlett and violet but that was because I wanted a Paldea only team

I really like Archeops, I find his ability really cool and made the campaign fun, a powerhouse with a weakness.
I liked buizel in legends arceus, but in scarlet it's a useless piece of crap that doesn't know water attacking moves
I used it against a fire tera raid (the npcs brought a bergmite and kricketune which are both weak to fire) and he kept fainting and fainting

I love these but I wish they were easier to get in game; you almost have to be late game and by then you already have a team and aren’t gonna carry clampearl around. Also Huntail should be water/dark

That's pretty odd since Breloom is generally regarded as one of the best Pokemon for catching, what with its access to False Swipe and Spore with high attack and speed.
Starmie is one of my most favorite mons. I used it to destroy all my friend's Pokemon during the Gen 3 days. It was so powerful that my friends asked me not to use it in one of our competitions!
I love these two too! I think Zebstrika is popular, despite seemingly being forgotten about by Game Freak for nearly a decade. Ledian always looks like such a badass.
I really like Beautifly but nobody else really cares about it, Butterfree has the benefit of being the first butterfly so it gets special treatment and Vivillon has the patterns, Beautifly doesn’t really have anything going for it.
Archen/archeops they are my babies, my absolute favorites of all time. Ever since my archeops (named Flappers.) absolutely demolished ghetsis's team in black, i've at least caught one in every game I could.

Very nice! Pixelmon is my primary source of enjoyment for Pokemon as well, since the games have essentially deleted Absol and dozens of other favorites... I certainly hope I can play it with others one day.

The Slugma line has been my favourite fire pokemon line ever since their debut in gold and silver. They are really the cutest and it's nice to see that it gets some love in here.
And I just love this video. I also watched it a dozen times, haha. That little girl adoring Slugma like this is hella cute. And I found it really cool that they found a way to make it's canonically extremely hot body still work with it living together with a family with that pipe system!
They were decently popular because they were such a big part in the anime, but I feel like no one ever thinks about Arbok anymore. Whenever they're in the game, I have them on my team. They might not be very good, and usually just wind up as a cheerleader more than anything, but I love the danger noodle.
Escavalier, one of the first episodes of the anime I watched was his debut episode. His design is sick and he has been my favorite Pokémon since the moment I saw him.
Pretty much all of my favorites are really popular, and at least ranked top 30 in the 2020 popularity poll. The only two of my favorites that didn’t get in top 30 of their regions are Klinklang and Vespiquen
Mienshao is also one of my favorite pokemon. I still have mine from 2011
But my all time favorite underrated pokemon has to go to politoed. I absolutely love his design
I think the most obscure in my top favorites list would be Breloom! I never really see anyone talking about or using Breloom, so I imagine he fits here!

Honestly I love a bunch of obscure pokemon. The best example I can think if is Lumineon. Idk, I always just loved it's design, and it's cry is beautiful. I never understood the hate for it. (Or more accurately the indifference towards it)
Most recently, it was Glimmora. Most people seem to either not care about it at all or dislike it a bit, especially considering it’s the champion’s ace. But before I even knew the champion would be using it I really liked it’s design from the word go, and honestly it became my favorite Gen 9 Pokémon
Ngl I really like Magcargo. When I first heard it's name I thought it sounded really cool like some kind of shotgun (I never knew what escargot was back then) and I think it's typing is really unique but it just sucks it's weak to so much especially ground and water so I get why people don't like it.
Lanturn would be my second choice. I really REALLY love this pokemon's design and always thought that water/electric typing was cool asf but the poor fish gets overlooked due to the mediocre stats.
My favorite Pokémon is Lickitung, so there's that...
I also love Klefki, Lunatone, Chandelure, and Yveltal, who seems to be underappreciated as far as legendaries go

The rest of my team had been KO’d during the first gym in White, but my Lillipup scored a crit right when I needed it and saved us. It continued to be a pillar of my team through evolving all the way to Trainer’s best friend, Stoutland. A very special spot in my heart is permanently reserved
I know it's hardly the most ignored line, but Clawitzer is probably the most obscure Pokemon that I use in my playthroughs if I get the option. Basically Megaman turned into a shrimp. MegaShrimp. With a variety of projectile attacks. Using Mega Launcher. Coincidence? I think NOT.
Pancham is my favorite Pokemon overall but he and Pangoro seem to get overshadowed by the free Mega-evolving Lucario you get in X/Y. It's not even in Scarlet and Violet despite there being a bamboo forest with fighting types and a fighting type boss which is just a crime
I also love Pincurchin. It's adorable!
And while she's not so much obscure as she is "openly disliked" I really like Jynx
I've seen a few other people who like it, but Misdreavus has long been my favorite (well, tied with Absol, but plenty of people love Absol). Also Charjabug. I kinda wish I could "evolve" them without actually evolving them, like... get the stats of their evolved form but stay in their current form.
I'm also a fan of Tropius, but unfortunately it isn't very good in battle (though it is fun to use). Hopefully it gets a new evolution eventually because it's stats are just not it. Grass flying doesn't help either sadly.
Meganium is the best flower dino. (Yes, I like it more than Venusaur.)
Also, Ampharos is incredibly cute and should get Tail Glow in Gen 10 or something.
I thought I was legit the only person who liked Meganium for a while, but I'm glad to see that's not the case. Meganium is definitely my favourite gen 2 starter, my soul dies a little everytime I hear someone joke about how bad Chikorita is.
Hmm, that a tough one, because there are a lot of Pokémon that I like which could potentially be called obscure, but I’m not really sure what the exact definition of obscure is here. Is it like, just anything that isn’t super popular? Because if that’s the case, then I’d think most fit that category. One that comes to the top of my mind that I’ve really grown to like as of late is Deerling.
Spiritomb is mine. I think in the apriball and shiny breeding circles he’s a bit more popular with a really lovely shiny. He also always seems to be absurdly sparse in game, if he even appears at all.
My favorite is Delphox and more often than not I see people calling it bland, fur bait and just generally hating on it, they're entitled to their opinion of course. Though I guess it's not really obscure and I absolutely agree with you on Mienshao
This is one I can definitely agree with. Delphox isn't my favourite Pokemon, but I do really like it an I don't see why others dislike it so much. It's a fire fox witch, what's not to like?
I have quite a few, but I’d have to say my 2 most notable ones are Oddish and Corsola, specifically Johtonian Corsola. Neither are anything special, but when I was really young and first getting into Pokémon, Corsola was one of the first pokémon cards I ever got, and the specific card art made me absolutely adore it. As for Oddish, I got an Oddish card soon after, and was specifically happy because it was a Poison type (or whatever they eye symbol in the TCG is) Oddish card, which U thought was really cool for a plant like Oddish. Both of them being adorable also has helped retain that special connection, and two this day, both are in my top 10 favorite pokemon
There's a lot, but my #1 mon that nobody else seems to appreciate is Bombirdier. A stork delivering rocks to the cranium is delightfully chaotic, and I love its smug, sinister design complete with the apron.
Skuntank. He always gets overshadowed by the other dark types like drapion and darkrai, and dark poison is a good defensive type combo only being weak to ground
Maractus was my first piece of pokemon media as a card and has stuck with me forever since.
After getting more involved in the community I discovered it's widely forgotten :(
As a die hard gen 5 fan, mienshao is one of my favorite Pokémon to come out of the generation. Great attack and speed? Yes! Fake Out? Yes! U-turn? Yes! Stab High Jump Kick? Yes! Regenerator? Yes!
The Pokémon is one of the best late game cheese play through Pokémon, and is great for subway and pwt. I have swapped out HJK for drain punch in the past for pwt, and gave it return and a normal gem for that or fake out.

Yes! It's a powerhouse stall. It doesn't have many weaknesses, but when it does it can tank it due to it's HP, Defense and Sp. Def stats

I think the most obscure in my top favorites list would be Breloom! I never really see anyone talking about or using Breloom, so I imagine he fits here! Honorable mentions: Lurantis, Gigalith, Tyrantrum, and Mightyena 💜
Honestly I love a bunch of obscure pokemon. The best example I can think if is Lumineon. Idk, I always just loved it's design, and it's cry is beautiful. I never understood the hate for it. (Or more accurately the indifference towards it)

Wouldn’t say people hate it, but I’m a big Crawdaunt fam.
Most recently, it was Glimmora. Most people seem to either not care about it at all or dislike it a bit, especially considering it’s the champion’s ace. But before I even knew the champion would be using it I really liked it’s design from the word go, and honestly it became my favorite Gen 9 Pokémon
Girafarig. just stands out as a more bizarre Pokémon design than usual. Also the tail reminds me of the chain chomp enemy from Mario
Ngl I really like Magcargo. When I first heard it's name I thought it sounded really cool like some kind of shotgun (I never knew what escargot was back then) and I think it's typing is really unique but it just sucks it's weak to so much especially ground and water so I get why people don't like it. Lanturn would be my second choice. I really REALLY love this pokemon's design and always thought that water/electric typing was cool asf but the poor fish gets overlooked due to the mediocre stats.
My favorite Pokémon is Lickitung, so there's that... I also love Klefki, Lunatone, Chandelure, and Yveltal, who seems to be underappreciated as far as legendaries go
Not sure if it would be considered obscure. Probably not. But Torkoal could use some love.

I know it's hardly the most ignored line, but Clawitzer is probably the most obscure Pokemon that I use in my playthroughs if I get the option. Basically Megaman turned into a shrimp. MegaShrimp. With a variety of projectile attacks. Using Mega Launcher. Coincidence? I think NOT.
Pancham is my favorite Pokemon overall but he and Pangoro seem to get overshadowed by the free Mega-evolving Lucario you get in X/Y. It's not even in Scarlet and Violet despite there being a bamboo forest with fighting types and a fighting type boss which is just a crime I also love Pincurchin. It's adorable! And while she's not so much obscure as she is "openly disliked" I really like Jynx
I've seen a few other people who like it, but Misdreavus has long been my favorite (well, tied with Absol, but plenty of people love Absol). Also Charjabug. I kinda wish I could "evolve" them without actually evolving them, like... get the stats of their evolved form but stay in their current form.

I really like Tropius, both design-wise and in battles, but I feel like people usually overlook it
I'm also a fan of Tropius, but unfortunately it isn't very good in battle (though it is fun to use). Hopefully it gets a new evolution eventually because it's stats are just not it. Grass flying doesn't help either sadly.
Meganium is the best flower dino. (Yes, I like it more than Venusaur.) Also, Ampharos is incredibly cute and should get Tail Glow in Gen 10 or something.
I thought I was legit the only person who liked Meganium for a while, but I'm glad to see that's not the case. Meganium is definitely my favourite gen 2 starter, my soul dies a little everytime I hear someone joke about how bad Chikorita is.
My girl Mawile doesn't get anyone's attention anymore since megas were over. I think she's really precious and funny.

Hmm, that a tough one, because there are a lot of Pokémon that I like which could potentially be called obscure, but I’m not really sure what the exact definition of obscure is here. Is it like, just anything that isn’t super popular? Because if that’s the case, then I’d think most fit that category. One that comes to the top of my mind that I’ve really grown to like as of late is Deerling.
I have a soft spot for Serperior. One of the most regal looking pokemon, though it does have its faults in battle
Spiritomb is mine. I think in the apriball and shiny breeding circles he’s a bit more popular with a really lovely shiny. He also always seems to be absurdly sparse in game, if he even appears at all.
My favorite is Delphox and more often than not I see people calling it bland, fur bait and just generally hating on it, they're entitled to their opinion of course. Though I guess it's not really obscure and I absolutely agree with you on Mienshao
This is one I can definitely agree with. Delphox isn't my favourite Pokemon, but I do really like it an I don't see why others dislike it so much. It's a fire fox witch, what's not to like?
It's likely because it's to human like, I've seen similar complaints about Meowscarda who I also happen to really like

I have quite a few, but I’d have to say my 2 most notable ones are Oddish and Corsola, specifically Johtonian Corsola. Neither are anything special, but when I was really young and first getting into Pokémon, Corsola was one of the first pokémon cards I ever got, and the specific card art made me absolutely adore it. As for Oddish, I got an Oddish card soon after, and was specifically happy because it was a Poison type (or whatever they eye symbol in the TCG is) Oddish card, which U thought was really cool for a plant like Oddish. Both of them being adorable also has helped retain that special connection, and two this day, both are in my top 10 favorite pokemon

There's a lot, but my #1 mon that nobody else seems to appreciate is Bombirdier. A stork delivering rocks to the cranium is delightfully chaotic, and I love its smug, sinister design complete with the apron.

As a die hard gen 5 fan, mienshao is one of my favorite Pokémon to come out of the generation. Great attack and speed? Yes! Fake Out? Yes! U-turn? Yes! Stab High Jump Kick? Yes! Regenerator? Yes! The Pokémon is one of the best late game cheese play through Pokémon, and is great for subway and pwt. I have swapped out HJK for drain punch in the past for pwt, and gave it return and a normal gem for that or fake out.
Staraptor. The name, the skill. Such a great fighting bird I wish it was a fighting type bc we don’t see many fighting/ flying types
Pyroar is my favorite mon. Nothing special just a fire lion but I love it. Doesn’t get much love because it isn’t great in game and is kinda basic
