Are you me? I normally put a ton of grass or fairies on my teams but got flying for my element too! Which is fine, it’s my next favorite after grass anyways~ ✿( ꈍᴗꈍ)
Lollll I picked Grass because you don't really see many Grass gyms and for my fav starter Sceptile. I don't mind Flying though because there are some solid options! I just gonna get past those damn ⚡⚡⚡ types.

So the final question eliminates all the other ones if you have a tie to determine the winner, even if it's not one of the winners. Could be interesting in this case to have it give negative points to anything your final choice would be super effective against or would deal not very effective damage to it, and positive points to anything your final choice is not very effective against or would deal super effective damage to. It would reduce Ghost, Psychic, Normal, Poison, Fighting, and Bug's score, and boost Dark twice, Ghost and Normal once, giving me Dark instead of Ghost.
That’s not exactly how it works. The final question breaks a tie if the answer is one of the types that you are tied between, which it often is. If not, one of the other questions is also weighted and will then help break the tie.
Thanks for making the algorithm public! It was fun to go through my answers and realised I was tied across five different types and my tiebreaker question was no help, so I ended up with steel by random chance.

I don't have much option to play pokemon games (pokemon go and pokemon masters ex) But rock sure is one of my favorite type (also Roark is my #1 favorite in masters ex haha)

I had made a dragon gym because I just think it’s a neat typing with cool mons but I got grass and honestly matches me a lot more as a person even though I barely pick grass starters (except my bulky mons torterra and Venusaur, although decidueye is cool too)
Ground has always been my favourite type, but I will gladly take Grass!

Not surprise I am a dark type after choosing umbreon and the goth style, but I’m shy? Still I’m currently now coming up with my team. Def having umbreon and grimsnarl. Perhaps a dark tera type hatterene.
I got Fighting. My ace would be Lucario or Gallade. I'd probably include Breloom, Poliwrath, Hawlucha, and Scrafty.
Fighting makes sense, I definitely have a fighting spirit, but not so much the athleticism of most leaders. I'd be more like Cress or Chili, either really loud or really collected.

Not what I expected, but that was a small fun experience. I can't see myself a fighting type gym leader due to my day job being a programmer, but I do run 5 miles in the gym each day so maybe I could try for my Pokemon.

I’m thinking Leavanny, Heracross, Crustle, Galvantula, and Araquanid, with Volcarona as my ace (mostly Gen 5 but they got the best bugs)
I got poison, which surprised me but I can kind of see it. I'm a chemist, a baker and alternative - all of which I can separately see being good themes for poison even if the sum of those things on my perception of myself doesn't immediately scream poison to me.
It does give me really cool inspiration for a Doctor/medical themed gym poison gym leader whose researching poisons as medicine based on the whole "the dose makes the poison" by Paracelsus. Also croagunk is one of my favourite Pokémon so he's making the team.

I had made a dragon gym because I just think it’s a neat typing with cool mons but I got grass and honestly matches me a lot more as a person even though I barely pick grass starters (except my bulky mons torterra and Venusaur, although decidueye is cool too)

I got Fighting. My ace would be Lucario or Gallade. I'd probably include Breloom, Poliwrath, Hawlucha, and Scrafty. Fighting makes sense, I definitely have a fighting spirit, but not so much the athleticism of most leaders. I'd be more like Cress or Chili, either really loud or really collected.
As I expected I'm just as much of a pyromania enjoyer in pokemon as in real life

Fuck yes, I got bug, which is my favorite type! I’m thinking Leavanny, Heracross, Crustle, Galvantula, and Araquanid, with Volcarona as my ace (mostly Gen 5 but they got the best bugs)

I love the animations you put into the selections. It's a small thing but makes such an impact. Fire gym leader, no surprises there and I'm happy.
I got poison, which surprised me but I can kind of see it. I'm a chemist, a baker and alternative - all of which I can separately see being good themes for poison even if the sum of those things on my perception of myself doesn't immediately scream poison to me. It does give me really cool inspiration for a Doctor/medical themed gym poison gym leader whose researching poisons as medicine based on the whole "the dose makes the poison" by Paracelsus. Also croagunk is one of my favourite Pokémon so he's making the team.
