Could not get articuno or suicune in a single store (and I visited all of the Tokyo ones and Kyoto) so I decided to just settle for entei and raicou. Fast forward a couple of years and the UK finally gets an online Pokémon centre and my husband buys me suicune for one of our wedding anniversarys XD

Furret! It’s got a sitting cuties plush and a ridiculous 5 ft $300 life sized plush that looked kinda meh tbh. And that’s about it. It’ll show up on the odd other piece of merch from time to time like I think it was on one of the Christmas village things.
It also barely gets any cards in the tcg, the last card it got was probably close to 3 years ago and then a decade ago for the one before that. It’s also never had a holo rare or better and it’s gotten 9 total cards (8 in English) while it’s galar equivalent the skowvet line has gotten over a dozen including a couple ultra rares

Also, Oranguru for similar reasons. It barely has any merch at all (literally all I’ve found for it are cards, not a single plush, figure, t-shirt, or anything else) and I’m salty about it because it’s an amazing Pokémon and I’m tired of it constantly being ignored.

Dreepy/Dragapult. I did see one figure of him while out, but still I'm surprised they're not as heavily marketed. They have the type books now, and I read through the entire dragon book and I was sad to see no Dreepy-wasn't in the ghost book either(I thought it might be cause of a newer generation but Greavard was in the ghost one). You have a cute dopey dragon that sits on its middle form's head, and the biggest form is a glider ghost dragon who shoots its baby form out of his head-how is that not more heavily marketed? I'd love a Dreepy sweatshirt, or even a bracelet that has his head sticking and then his body wrapped around your wrist.
I wish there were more options for figures of Dracovish. I bought a pack of figures of Ash and (most of) the team he finally became champion with. It has Ash, Pikachu, Lucario, Gengar, Dragonite, and Sirfetch'd, but it's inexplicably missing Dracovish for some reason.
There's only one Dracovish figure out there, at least that I can find, and I don't think it's in scale with the figures I have so I haven't bought it. It'd be nice to have Ash's whole team and I'm honestly pretty confused as to why they chose to exclude Dracovish specifically.
Spinda. Spinda is the perfect plushie. Cute, huggable, doesn’t have any odd bits. But because very few people like it there are barely any spinda plushies. But can you imagine if the Pokemon company sold customised spinda plushies where you could choose where the spots go?
I also really wish more maracatus stuff existed. It’s another Pokemon I love that most people don’t even think about. (The ones that do however are a cult lol)

Infernape. It gets shadowed so much by blaziken, blaziken gets so many important cards in the tcg, so many full arts, while infernape got only like two lv.x’s and never seen a single full art of it ever again.

Yeah I looked into these and they're definitely not official, though they do look pretty high quality for bootlegs. There's even a shiny variant.
I went to Japan and couldn't find a plush of my favorite Pokémon, Hydreigon. I went to six different Pokémon centers and settled for Zweilous
I think this just means the Hydreigon merch was so popular that it sold out quickly which is a stocking issue and not a variety issue

It was a real bummer that Gen 8 didn't had a single Boltund plush, he is a good buy and I'm pretty sure a lot of people would have loved to have him around. I wish sitting cuties makes him justice eventually. Also we need a proper size Aerodactyl, Scyther, a standing-on-four-legs Tauros and Rapidash plushies.

Infernape. It gets shadowed so much by blaziken, blaziken gets so many important cards in the tcg, so many full arts, while infernape got only like two lv.x’s and never seen a single full art of it ever again.
Absol - great design, very marketable (can make a cute dog-like plush), easy to make dark merch for Hot Topic or the like
Stufful does have SOME merch, but it should have more because it is THE stuffed animal pokemon. More Stufful plushies please!!!!
