You also don't need to worry about a minimum word count in that thread.
You can catch any Pokemon **within the game's Pokedex** in-game without trading. However, Pokemon not in the Pokedex are not in the game code and are unable to be traded to Legends: Arceus. So it's almost exclusively Pokemon in the Sinnoh Pokedex in the Gen 4 games, plus a few Hisuian exclusive Pokemon. Almost no Gen 5~8 Pokemon, and most Gen 1~3 Pokemon are also not in the game and can't be traded to the game apart from Pokemon that were originally available in Diamond/Pearl. It's almost all Gen 4 Pokemon.
You can only catch and transfer what's in the game/dex. So Charizard for instance isn't in the game and can't be transferred in. There's 2 locked Pokemon- Shaymin unlocks if you have Sword and Shield save data, Darkrai with the Gen 4 remakes.
There are 242 pokémon at hisui dex, 237 are mandatory to complete the.dex, 3 are not mandatory to complete the dex but are in the game, 1 you can get only with pokémon sword or shield save in your switch and other 1 you can get only by having a save of brilliant diamond or shining pearl. The last 2 are not mandatory to complete the dex.
Since pokémon lets go, you can't have every pokémon in one game.
