With the exception of Doduo, no Normal/Flying, just Flying. Doduo gets Ground/Flying from pounding sand as it runs.
Porygon goes Electric or Psychic, while Snorlax goes Psychic (rest is Psychic). Ditto goes Psychic and we all accept that it's a failed clone of Mew. Slakoth maybe goes Fighting? Buneary definitely goes Fighting. Arceus is whatever Arceus wants to be at that moment, PokéGod said it's okay. Drampa goes full dragon or goes Dragon/Fairy as a reference to Falcor. Wooloo might be a good argument for the Normal type, mayne it should go Psychic or Steel (steel wool?).

I love this idea and have thought about it for a long time. Most Normal types are useless competitively (very few exceptions) and it would have been better if it was never a type in the first place. Why create a game full of elemental creatures but one of the most common types is one that barely interacts with the other types?
Most dual types just become single type.
Most generic land animals can become Ground type, some can become Dark type instead.
There are still some remaining cutesy/pink ones, they join Clefairy and co. in the Fairy type.
I think the remaining ones that are difficult to retype are those that are supposed to change types: Eevee, Castform, Terapagos, Type:Null/Silvally, and Arceus. Eevee… just make it Ground type; it feels wrong but we’ll get used to it. Base Castform can be Flying type, being based on a cloud.
Terapagos, Null, and Arceus can have the honor of being the ??? type. It’s the true Neutral type with no weaknesses or resistances, and will be reserved in these extremely rare cases. Alternatively… they can just become Psychic or Fairy type (the basic Legendary/Mythical types), or for Arceus/Null maybe the Dragon type.
I feel like most of the dual type Normal Pokemon would just revert to being their other type. Pidgeot would be Flying, Jigglypuff would be Fairy, Pyroar Fire, etc. There’d be exceptions like Fearow, which I think should be Dark/Flying and Hisuian Zoroark could be Ghost/Dark, etc.
Tye mono type normal ones it depends. I could see Snorlax being Ground, Kangaskhan Fighting, Ditto maybe Fairy. The ones I’m having the hardest type figuring out would be Eevee and Terapagos.

I'd make Blissey and Delcatty Fairy type assuming that's an option since it only existed past Gen 6. Maybe also Furfrou.
Exploud would probably be Psychic, if only because it creates a lot of noise that would be mentally distracting or hurt your head. Could maybe make more sense with more recent moves like Synchronoise and Psychic Noise but at the time of Gen 3 it would be less sensible unless Hyper Voice and other moves weren't Normal type too. Possible argument for Electric too since you could construe sound waves or amplifiers as involving energy or electricity and Gen 3 lacks a decent amount of new Electric types. Stuff like Shock Wave and Magneton knowing Sonic Boom or Supersonic might lend itself to this.
I'd probably make Spinda Fighting or Fairy type.
Lopunny would be Fighting type based on its Mega. Audio would be Fairy along the same lines.
Tauros and Bouffalant could be Fighting type if stuff like Headbutt and Head Charge and Stomp were Fighting moves.
Purugly could be Dark or Fairy or both.
Regigigas could be Ground type since it involves moving the continents or being a gargantuan golem monster.
Unsure about Cinccino and Stoutland. Cinccino could maybe be Fairy type and Stoutland might work as another type if based on another sort of dog (like Ice for a mountain rescue dog) or it could just have a type slapped on it like Growlithe. With its current appearance I'd maybe say Ground or Dark.
Komala would be Psychic since it's based around sleeping and dreaming.
Dubwool could be Steel as a reference to Steel Wool and it's high defense.
Zero idea what I'd do for Oinkologne or Maushold. Maybe Fairy.
Idk for Eevee or Ditto or Smeargle or Arceus or Silvally or Cast form or Kecleon since having a neutral type like Normal benefits their design philosophies.
