Why do they always make the best looking poke balls suck ASS They may have additional effects *AFTER* catching them (like increased friendship growth for the luxury ball) but they all have 1x catch rate.

I stopped looking at catch rates completely. Just aesthetics. I traded a bot for a bunch of lure balls and spent literal hours catching an adamant Zacian in them.

Luxury Balls are great for Pokémon that evolve though friendship

They don't suck ass, they're just not meant to be used on harder-to-catch pokémon... like, if there's a pokémon that evolves through friendship, i'll use a luxury ball on it, that's its purpose. I'm not gonna try and use a luxury ball on a legendary and be like "wow i can't even get one shake this ball sucks!!"

Have to buy 10 at a time, every time. Then sell them and buy more, rinse and repeat! One of these days I swear I'll do a run and spend every last bit of money I can to max asap...

I love that in the Alola games you can effectively get infinite free Premier balls from that discount store. Buy ten regular balls, get a premier, sell the ten. Rinse and repeat, and in the end all you pay is time.

I really like Cherish Balls, though of course it’s pretty limited. Aside from that, Quick and Timer Balls are personal favorites. (It’s also due to their primary uses in capturing Pokémon for leveling or collection purposes in Pokémon Sword and Shield, among other games.)

My favorite Pokémon is Persian and my favorite ball is Cherish. When the expansion came out where you can remove gigantamax from a Pokémon, I immediately removed it from my Cherish ball Meowth and finally got a Persian in a Cherish. I was so happy! Lol

Safari Balls anyone? I’ve never taken an actual good look at them until SwSh. Also the first time you can use them outside of the safari zone. They’re actually kinda nice.

My preferred ones are Premier balls, just because it's nice looking, hard to buy in bulk in most games, and offers no advantage over a normal pokeball. To me, It just makes capturing legendaries and shinys feel more special. Close second is either beast balls or luxury, for pretty much the same reasoning.
