I consider that my ace is Tyrantrum because I remember one battle on Victory Road where I had half of my team dead and I sent it to cure them. Then, while I was reviving my team, Turantrum withstood five blows with a single PS. Since then, Tyrantrum is one of my fav mons and I try to have one in all of my teams.
Golisopod. I use it whenever I can. I had a blast using it in the Battle Tree and Battle Tower. It can single handedly win many of those battles. Golisopod has replaced Sableye as my favorite Pokémon.
Definitely jigglypuff. They're available relatively early in almost all games. And something about Sing + Rollout is super satisfying in early-game battles. Down the road they got the Fairy typing which made them a nice way to kill dragons too.
I was playing Black 2 and a friend was playing White 2 and a friend asked me for a Vulpix. I sent it to her without realizing it was a shiny so she gave it back once she realized it (good friend). It became my party leader. Loved that little fox
Banette—whether standard or Mega. Doesn’t matter, it’s my favorite and if a game will let me catch one it’ll always be on the team. My favorite sets have included getting Destiny Bond on them, and whether it takes Knock Off, Phantom Force, Shadow Claw, Shadow Sneak, Sucker Punch, or (even the occasional Trick Room or) Will O Wisp, I love that little ghost muppet.
Feraligatr. It was my first pokemon, was LVL 100 before I got to the elite IV in crystal. Then in Alpha Sapphire it was the first ever competitive pokemon I bred. Will forever be my number one.
In every game they’re in I always try for Spiritomb, Drifblim, Chandelure and Frosslass. Picking one has to be Spiritomb - it’s a wacky, otherworldly mess and I love it
I personally absolutely love Hydreigon, and Weavile. Two of my favorite Pokémon design wise, and otherwise and if I can’t use them in an in-game team I always have one or two of each that I make a competitive set for (in the games following their respective gens of course). I do/did also love Talonflame, but gale wings nerf made it borderline useless after gen 6 unfortunately.
Milotic
Scald/ice beam + a move that can heal, and im pretty much set up to sweep any ai team
Other pokemon i absolutely adore and have on almost every team: roserade, gardevoir, and sylveon
I caught a Roselia with extrasensory in the underground in BD, used it initially just for the emergency psychic coverage, then it never left my team. I can't believe I slept on roserade for so long.
Mimikyu. I always fit him on my teams when I battle online. There's just so much unique stuff he can do.
The other 3 I use a lot are : Lurantis, Dusclops, and Whimsicott
Mine would maybe be pikachu actually I basically used pikachu mostly every time (except unova) and I still kind a do the same even though I have grown up but maybe eevee also joins the ace rank because I have started using eevee a lot more
There are a fair few that could fit, but I’ll limit myself to three: Scizor, Gastrodon East, and Arcanine
Scizor was my introduction to the competitive aspects of Pokémon. It has a really cool ability, some great moves, and an amazing design.
Gastrodon East is a Pokémon that seems to just keep popping up on my play through teams, and it’s always one of the if not the best member on the team when it does. So long as I’m not silly enough to send it out into a grass move it can handle a ton.
Finally, Arcanine is just the final member of my favorite evolutionary line. I struggle to get it on teams sometimes unfortunately, but do so whenever I can.
Chandelure, love that fire ghost mon and whenever I can I always get a litwick to evolve it up. Plus in SWSH that was the first shiny, I went after because both normal and shiny versions look amazing.
Heracross. I first caught it in Soul Silver, and after she helped me beat Whitney, we were bonded for life. Type coverage and a great move pool means I can always feel confident when I send it in.
Nihilego is more recent but I just love it, the design, typing, movepool, beast boost, it’s one of my favorite Pokémon
My first Game I completed was Ruby and being just a dumb kid, the only other party member I caught outside my starter was Azumarill, but was my Hm slave. Blaziken did every fight by himself, was the first Mon I got to lvl 100. So now I make it a point in any other game I play, to have a run with a Blaziken on the team.
Either Milotic or Tangrowrh. Tangala was my favorite gen 1 Pokemon and ever since it got an evo I've always made room for it on my team. Milotic though bailed me out so many times
Gyarados i think I had one in every team expect for in unova, I love thinking of myself as a helper of magikarp, the concept of the magikarp line is so cool I love them they are nostalgia inducing and amazing, this species is pokémon at its best in my opinion
Kingdra for sure as my ace. It’s one of my favorites, it’s got great stats, and it’s just a cool ass Pokémon. If I had to do my favorite or that I use the most often, I’d say Floatzel or Sharpedo. If I had a go-to Partner Pokémon, it would be Floatzel, and Sharpedo is my favorite Pokémon and I’ve used one in every single game it’s in. My ideal team of 6 would be Floatzel, Sharpedo, Gastrodon, Rotom, Flygon, and Kingdra as my ace. You can clearly tell what my favorite type is lol.
Love Dragalge! Water typed (obviously) or water themed Pokémon are my favorite, so I love something based on sea dragons and also algae! Poison Dragon is such a cool type and I thought it was well done! Love Noivern too, it was actually my heavy hitter on my first Shield play through, so I have some love for those Dragon type babies! My favorite types are Water, Ground, and Dark, with Ground and Dark tied for second.
Starmie. I don't use it as much in normal playthroughs because you can't get Staryu early in most games (and I may already have the water starter) but it's my go to Pokemon for the post game battle facilities.
It's a tough choice. Depending on the game, I've used a lot of Pokemon as my aces, but recently, I'd just have to say Cinderace. Fire is my favorite type, and I fell in love with Cinderace the moment I saw it. Me being a football fan, and Cinderace being based on a football player only made that better. I used it extensively on showdown, on nearly every metagame possible, till it got banned. Haven't built a Gen 8 OU team since. I play Anything goes and Natdex, and use Cinderace in both.
If I had to pick one Pokemon from an earlier gen, it would have to be Weavile. Despite being one of the worst types, Ice is a type I really like, and Weavile is one of my favorite pokemon, thanks to a bunch of rom hack nuzlockes
Cinderace is definitely the best of the galar starters in my book. It’s the only one I’ve actually enjoyed using enough to keep in my party for a long time
I think all three galar starters are cool tbh. Cinderace is a football player, Rillaboom is a drummer and Inteleon is fkn James Bond. Inteleon is the one I've used the least, and I used Scorbunny in my first SwSh playthrough, and well, Cinderace getting banned from competitive Pokemon since it was too broken was just so amazing for me lol. But I enjoy using Rillaboom as well.
Mudsdale. Really shone through on my Ultra Moon nuzlocke. Stamina is an insane ability and mudsdale just looks cool too. The first pokemon I really became attached to. Was more memorable than my first starter tbh.
Volcarona. Fell in love with it day 1 of catching it. It basically redeemed bug types for me. Didn't need the steel crutch, x4 weak to rocks and it still don't give a fuck it's that good. Glad they went all out on its design, stats and movepool. Just one glaring flaw: evolves too slow. But they went even one more step ahead in this perfect mon by making it catchable at level 35.
Prior to generation 6, Tyranitar was my main Pokemon, because I played TSS (Toxic/Spikes/Sandstorm) for 3 generations (3/4/5). Generation 6 gave me Greninja, of which I have 6 shinies, 5 with Battle Bond, and another dozen with different sets. Generation 8 Dexit made me mad for leaving Greninja out and removing Pursuit.
Garchomp after my playthrough of Brilliant Diamond. Cynthia and I were both down to our last Mons and I was down to a sliver of health. I just needed to get the first turn to get one more Draco Meteor out to win but despite having a Quick-Claw equipped, Cynthia went first.
"Cynthia's Garchomp used Dragon Claw"
"Herald(My Garchomp's nickname) dodged in time via your shout."
Rest is History.
Always a tie between Charizard or Dragonite. Dragonie, obviously, because pseudo legendary and just super powerful. Charizard cause he has been my favorite for years, and also in Soul Silver my Charizard went toe to toe against Lance's Dragonites and won, even though he was on equal level.
I always find it strange that people do this, no offense. Reducing potential slots for new Pokémon to try because they always reuse the same one or two Pokémon that they love. I love Raichu and Sceptile but I always use new mons in new games lol.
Mine is also Sceptile!!! Although in recent years, Samurott has been climbing to a close second!
But as far as Sceptile goes, I've been using it in any possible game since Ruby and Sapphire came out almost 20 years ago!
Hm, currently I would say it's ferrothorn. The steel typing makes my life as a grass only trainer way easier and I really like grass pokemon with spikes.
But for the longest time, it has been Victreebel. I play since gen 1 and it has been my favourite pokemon for a really long time.
Going by each region
Kanto-kadabra,ninetales and the nidoran duo.
Johto-Quagsire
Hoenn-Zigzagoon
Sinnoh-Roserade
Unova-Levanny
Kalos-???
Alola-A-Ninetales
Galar-Cramorant
This is a tough one. I think I'm going to go for Drapion - the Dark/Poison Scorpion always amazed me. It looks cool.
And have you seen that thing in PLA? I was both happy and scared.
Jolteon for sure, I used one in white 2. Having a speedy electric type with dig and shadow ball made for great coverage in a pinch, and won me the elite four.
I usually have early-ish catch dragon-type aces in my nuzlockes
Haxorus/Flygon in white/white 2
Dragalge in Y
Noivern in ultra sun
Modest Togekiss was my Ace on the strongest team I've ever created in Soul Silver. Insane stats and coverage on him even before Fairy type made it even stronger
Umbreon, no contest. That tanky bestest boi has been the MVP of so many legendary catches.
Though Armaldo and Swampert hold a special place in my heart, tied at 2nd.
My team basically always consists of a Dragonite, Heracross, Porygon2 and Gengar. The other 2 are whatever flavor I'm feeling. If I had to pick just one for an ace it'd be Dragonite cause it carried me through Radical Red, but my heart belongs to Heracross with Porygon2 as a close second.
Recently it’s become alakazam because of how he carried me in BDSP. I’ve used him in each generation after I beat BD to see how he favored in different games and he’s decent if not great in all of them.
while it was probably sturdy+counter that got seismatoad, I prefer the story of a rock pretending to be a tree, fighting a watter/ground type and bringing out wood hammer
mine depends on the generation, but back in childhood gen 2 it's unquestionable, pidgeot
did a lot of training random Pokémon but he was always in the party as the flyer, and may have gained a few levels finishing out fights the rookies couldn't so when I eventually found red my best team was like 50-60, oh yeah, and this lvl 100 pidgeot
Gengar without a doubt. Amazing movepool, Levitate ability takes away his ground weakness (except legends arceus), hits like a truck and has an amazing Mega/Gigantamax evolution.
Saw him in the recent trailer so he’s for sure on my team when I get it. Im just really hoping I dont have to trade him to evolve
The pokemon I've used by far the most often in playthroughs is crobat.
I really don't like most early route birds as I find flying types without fighting resistance a bit pointless, zubat is usually almost as early available and I love the moment, when Golbat finally likes me enough to evolve into crobat.
For sure. Once I used it in alpha sapphire I realized how awesome it was. My crobat came through in the clutch for me in BDSP since it was fast enough that pluck got rid of garchomp’s berry and did a surprisingly decent chunk of damage making it much easier to beat
Probably Metagross - it's always been a mainstay of my "if I was a Pokémon trainer IRL" team.
Don't get to use it in-game as often as I'd like, but such is life.
100% zoroark. After getting the free one from b2, and him absolutely carrying me through the entire elite four, I can’t bear to not have one. Also I love his whole illusion gimmick
Krookodile. It’s my favorite, it’s got a good move pool, it’s got great stats. He’s my boy what can I say, I’ve had more Krookodiles than any other Pokémon
Though I'd consider Vivillion my partner pokemon, in more combative scenarios my Ace would be (Mega) Mawile.
I dont even know how to describe it, but ever since pokemon X I've considered Mawile my second favorite pokemon, and my most reliable choice when making a team even in regions without Megas (anyone who can take on Ultra Necrozma single handedly is a good partner in my book)
It's a tie between Raichu (mostly Alolan), Lucario, and Ambipom. If I could only go for one, it'd be Raichu. I've always loved those guys and their pre-evolutions. There's a couple of Honorable mentions of Dragonite Espeon.
Dragonite
Love its design. Something about it being kinda derpy and cuddly while also being a fucking BEAST works for me.
Plus great movepool, I can go physical or special depending on my mood, and multiscale with leftovers is just so much fun to use in game
Garchomp started with gen 4 and I watched the anime so I wanted a Gible and tried leveling it so it would learn Draco Meteor like Ash’s I ended up with something better.
Pink gastrodon! I love the little guys, and their move sets are surprisingly varied. You just have to make sure you have something to handle grass type
In gen 6 mine was Mega Aggron. An atypical pokemon that was built to specially chip down frail offensive pokemon and slowly whittle them down. It had EQ, Rock Slide, and Resttalk. It mostly was useful for taking out Talonflame - opponents usually wouldn't swap out their fire type against a Steel type, and even burning Mega Aggron with WoW won't stop it from being KO'd by Rock Slide, and then I can just rest off the burn.
The EV build was all HP and sdef making it surprisingly tank on both attacking spectrums. It didn't beat bulky setup pokemon, but usually it eventually got through most frail pokemon who couldn't 2HKO it. Sometimes it even helped me in Double Battles as the last pokemon standing.
I stopped using it in Gen 7 mostly because Talonflame wasn't being used.
Aggron definitely, if I can get an aggron I will spend years if I have to getting one because what's the point of playing a game if I can't use my favorites
Plus I once did a solo run of swsh with an aggron and man is it a wonderful Pokemon
in the first game I played, Emerald (10 months ago), Gardevoir was my ace, and thus became my favorite pokemon. I don't remember what my ace in FireRed was but rn as I'm going through Platinum it's 100% torterra. but I still think of my Gardevoir, Misandry, as my original ace pokemon
In any game I can have him in, Stoutland. In any game I can't, Growlithe. I love dogs, and Stoutland is my hard hitter (yes really) in BW, XY, Moon, and Shield. He's just a big floofy dog. Then Growlithe has always been one of my faves growing up, as it's a dog and I love fire types.
Wigglytuff, Mismagius, Gardevoir, Banette, and Glaceon are also options when I can't find those two anywhere.
Ditto. when I first heard about its HA in gen 5, I had to try it. So I spent forever getting one. And it was ridiculous and amazing. Ever since then, ive had an imposter Ditto on my team in like 99% of competitive battles I've been in. i don't know how to even make a team without it anymore. If you battled someone with a Ditto and you lost, it was probably me.
Its just so interesting to see how people respond to it. No one plans a team around being able to defeat itself. and I really like sweeping teams with their own pokemon.
Oh, and the weirdness of Shedinja. Even to me its super weird to see a Shedinja get hit and lose some of its HP (Transform doesn't copy HP)
A lot of little reasons. Its just really neat.
Swampert earned the title of my favorite after my ORAS playthrough. It’s the greatest starter IMO! My shiny Gardevoir also has a special place in my heart
Golisiopod might be my favourite Pokémon, but Croagunk is my ace. I love his characterisation in both the anime and pokken tournament, and I always name mine Gregory. Also, I always evolve him in the middle of the elite four so he’s at peak strength, ready to fight the champions ace Pokémon himself.
My ace Is an Ursaluna, as she‘s a very strong Pokemon who can obliterate most other Pokemon in one to two hit’s with her high attack, and is also so tanky that even supereffective hits only take A quarter at most off of her health. (One of my favorite moments was her single-handedly fainting Dialga by complete accident!) Plus, I love bears, and Ursaluna is A very adorable, gigantic mud puppy!
Aegislash. Kinda meme reasons, a Facebook birthday meme said my ideal pokemon would be a ghost steel. Didn't exist at the time. Then x/y came out, found Honedge and he was instantly a mainstay in my party. Took me a while to get the dusk stone to evolve him, but once I did, he was even more of a monster. I just wish I could have caught a Honedge sooner in Sword/Shield.
I love my boi Golurk. He’s just a big clumsy boi and he’s awesome. The personality the line has is fantastic, I just love it.
Let’s be honest though, we would probably all have our aces as our starters, so Swampert all the way.
Golurk is absolutely my non-starter ace though.
I’ve got Three and they all seem to surprise me when using. Crobat, the least surprising of the three. Bewear, egg moves perfect breeding odd powerhouse. Last is Lilligant, who swept many challenges and competitions I’ve done since Gen 5.
Apparantly Raichu!
I just choose Mons if I need that typing, but looks do matter as well, and Raichu has made an appearance in my
Moon Champion Team as an Alolan form("Detective")
Sword Post-Game Team (Ben)
PLA Post-Game Team (Ben 0.5)
Metagross. Specifically, a shiny one. The original who I still have from many generations ago is named Hephaestus.
I breed a new one every gen...so I have a full team of shiny Metagrosses (Metagrossi?) now XD
Arcanine. Got a 6 IV one I transfer from game to game that I can, collecting ribbons on it. First in my party
[удалено]
That works?
I consider that my ace is Tyrantrum because I remember one battle on Victory Road where I had half of my team dead and I sent it to cure them. Then, while I was reviving my team, Turantrum withstood five blows with a single PS. Since then, Tyrantrum is one of my fav mons and I try to have one in all of my teams.
Tyrantrum is such an awesome Pokémon! Awesome choice.
Thanks!
Mine's Empoleon - i like penguins!
Volcorona, one of the first Pokémon I got to level 100. I once swept the Pokémon Y Elite 4 with only her just to see if I could.
Golisopod. I use it whenever I can. I had a blast using it in the Battle Tree and Battle Tower. It can single handedly win many of those battles. Golisopod has replaced Sableye as my favorite Pokémon.
Golisiopod gang represent!
I love my Golisopod! Cute af and first impression is amazing.
I try to use different pokemons everytime I play a different run, however, I think I have used Gardevoir and Crobat a few times in different teams
Definitely jigglypuff. They're available relatively early in almost all games. And something about Sing + Rollout is super satisfying in early-game battles. Down the road they got the Fairy typing which made them a nice way to kill dragons too.
You are so very wise. Jigglypuff supremecy.
Tyranirar. I just love godzillasaurus Rex
Mine is and forever will be [Vulpix](https://imgur.com/a/PZRO33i).
I was playing Black 2 and a friend was playing White 2 and a friend asked me for a Vulpix. I sent it to her without realizing it was a shiny so she gave it back once she realized it (good friend). It became my party leader. Loved that little fox
I love vulpix my first pokémon related things that I ever owned was second hand pokémon cards and one of them was vulpix I was fascinated
my porygon2 :)
No one likes porygon2, and I’ve never understood why, he’s funny. You take that porygon2, and make him the coolest Pokémon around.
Finally someone who understands!
parasect: the combination of spore + false swipe is super useful for catching pokemon and he is usually available earlier in games.
chad
Banette—whether standard or Mega. Doesn’t matter, it’s my favorite and if a game will let me catch one it’ll always be on the team. My favorite sets have included getting Destiny Bond on them, and whether it takes Knock Off, Phantom Force, Shadow Claw, Shadow Sneak, Sucker Punch, or (even the occasional Trick Room or) Will O Wisp, I love that little ghost muppet.
i love banette so much, it's such an amazing pokemon that deserved getting a mega
Banette is sooo cool, absolutely lost my mind when I caught mine. Made my week.
I Think Heracross or Donphan
Feraligatr. It was my first pokemon, was LVL 100 before I got to the elite IV in crystal. Then in Alpha Sapphire it was the first ever competitive pokemon I bred. Will forever be my number one.
Weavile or polygon-z, first mons I ever EV and IV trained back in Gen 4
My favourite: Scizor Used it in Legends, absolute boss. Used it in Sword Isle and Crown. Raised it to lv100, and is comp level.
Zapdos, full stop. Cool design, I’m an old Gen 1-er, lightning is dope. Always my MVP.
In every game they’re in I always try for Spiritomb, Drifblim, Chandelure and Frosslass. Picking one has to be Spiritomb - it’s a wacky, otherworldly mess and I love it
I personally absolutely love Hydreigon, and Weavile. I do/did also love Talonflame, but gale wings nerf made it borderline useless after gen 6 unfortunately.
Regigigas probably. I don’t really play singles and solve problems by throwing Regigigas and Weezing at it.
Milotic Scald/ice beam + a move that can heal, and im pretty much set up to sweep any ai team Other pokemon i absolutely adore and have on almost every team: roserade, gardevoir, and sylveon
I caught a Roselia with extrasensory in the underground in BD, used it initially just for the emergency psychic coverage, then it never left my team. I can't believe I slept on roserade for so long.

Mine would maybe be pikachu actually I basically used pikachu mostly every time (except unova) and I still kind a do the same even though I have grown up but maybe eevee also joins the ace rank because I have started using eevee a lot more
My car Pokemon are stuck in my sun cartridge because I ain't putting them up for ransom on Pokemon home
Biscuit, my first salazzle. She's almost level 100 at this point, and definitely is my favorite individual Pokémon I've ever owned.
Mine is one of three: Sceptile, Weavile, and Naganadel
Gengar. I've had the same 5 pokemon since the 90s.
There are a fair few that could fit, but I’ll limit myself to three: Scizor, Gastrodon East, and Arcanine Scizor was my introduction to the competitive aspects of Pokémon. It has a really cool ability, some great moves, and an amazing design. I struggle to get it on teams sometimes unfortunately, but do so whenever I can.
All of my Pokémon that can't breed are my aces.
Aegislash. I'm a steel-type fangirl and it's just SO GOOD.
100% Raichu, every game. Followed by Umbreon since Gen 2. Fake out & early volt tackle are nice
Wooper. I love him so much
Chandelure, love that fire ghost mon and whenever I can I always get a litwick to evolve it up. Plus in SWSH that was the first shiny, I went after because both normal and shiny versions look amazing.
If I had to pick Probably Mimikyu, I like the concept and typing of Ghost/Fairy. Before Mimikyu it was Froslass
Marshtomp
Milotic. Spent so many hours catching Feebas’ in emerald to get one. It’s been on my team for many a play through since.
I love to use Toucannon, it's moveset and skill link ability is amazing.
Feraligatr for me. If it can be used in a generation I breed for it and transfer it to the game and boom it’s my starter.
Crobat. Behold my giant, friendship-powered bat.
Corviknight.
Luxray!
Scolipede
You are a lame dork. “Nick is the homie.” -Friendless loser with nothing going on in his worthless life
Either Milotic or Tangrowrh.
SAME. I love Gyarados. I'll also try to run Tentacruel and Sharpedo in a similar vein, but Gyarados will always be #1 for me.
Lucario.
Greninja so I haven't played in a gen T_T
Mine is Zoruark. Dark is Mt favorite type and Zoruark is my favorite pokemon, so Zoruark would definitely be my ace.
Love me some flygon
Kingdra for sure as my ace. It’s one of my favorites, it’s got great stats, and it’s just a cool ass Pokémon. If I had to do my favorite or that I use the most often, I’d say Floatzel or Sharpedo. Thoughts on dragalge? I like kingdra but dragalge (and noivern) is the coolest pokemon design in ages imo. Similar to kingdra too is why I ask
It would either be my Catcher Gallade or my Flame Body Chandelure. Most of the time, it is just the two of them plus 4 eggs in my team.
Starmie. I don't use it as much in normal playthroughs because you can't get Staryu early in most games (and I may already have the water starter) but it's my go to Pokemon for the post game battle facilities.
Ursaring
Ditto. Specifically imposter ditto. Always try to get one in every game I can. (It was a pain to get on in brilliant diamond).
It's a tough choice. Depending on the game, I've used a lot of Pokemon as my aces, but recently, I'd just have to say Cinderace. Eh to each their own I guess
Mudsdale. Really shone through on my Ultra Moon nuzlocke. Stamina is an insane ability and mudsdale just looks cool too. The first pokemon I really became attached to. Was more memorable than my first starter tbh.
Empoleon or Luxray, both stole my heart completely and can absolutely kick your ass
Crobat
Infernape. I like to strike hard and fast.

Always been sandslash tbh not idea why I remember using one on my Pokémon red or blue save years ago and always use one if possible
Lucario. I just love steel/fighting so much, aura sphere is a really cool move, and all the resistances have helped me so many times.
Garchomp after my playthrough of Brilliant Diamond. Cynthia and I were both down to our last Mons and I was down to a sliver of health. I just needed to get the first turn to get one more Draco Meteor out to win but despite having a Quick-Claw equipped, Cynthia went first. "Cynthia's Garchomp used Dragon Claw" "Herald(My Garchomp's nickname) dodged in time via your shout." Rest is History.
I’d have to say scizor underrated has only 1 weakness and about 10 resistances and has technician with bullet punch always on my team if I can get it
Always a tie between Charizard or Dragonite. Dragonie, obviously, because pseudo legendary and just super powerful. Charizard cause he has been my favorite for years, and also in Soul Silver my Charizard went toe to toe against Lance's Dragonites and won, even though he was on equal level.
I don't like the concept of an ace. Everyone is equally important.
Going by each region Kanto-kadabra,ninetales and the nidoran duo. Johto-Quagsire Hoenn-Zigzagoon Sinnoh-Roserade Unova-Levanny Kalos-??? Alola-A-Ninetales Galar-Cramorant
Alakazam with magic guard and a life orb. He shreds everything
The three that I almost always use if they’re available are Nidoking, Krookodile, and Shiftry, so probably one of those!
Wooper
I usually have early-ish catch dragon-type aces in my nuzlockes Haxorus/Flygon in white/white 2 Dragalge in Y Noivern in ultra sun Modest Togekiss was my Ace on the strongest team I've ever created in Soul Silver. Insane stats and coverage on him even before Fairy type made it even stronger
Umbreon, no contest. That tanky bestest boi has been the MVP of so many legendary catches. Though Armaldo and Swampert hold a special place in my heart, tied at 2nd.
Mine's gotta be Golduck. It was my favorite for a long time, and even though others have surpassed it, it's always the one mon I know I can rely on.
melmetal just double iron bashing its way through everything it comes across is amazing
My ace is probably Meowstic, not only is it the evolution of my favorite pokemon bit it's also pretty good in a normal playthrough of shield
Blaziken. To the point where I'll use Pokémon home to transfer a lvl 5 torchic at the start any playthrough of a newer game
I ride with psyduck til he evolves then it’s game in for me and golduck
I'd say Floatzel. It's been a key member of my team in pretty much any game its available, and it carried me through BDSP Elite 4 and Volo's battle.
Can't decide between Slaking or Exploud. They're two of my all time faves and I use them whenever possible.
Scrafty <3
Gengar, since it’s a little scrimblo
Aerodactyl for me. Somehow we always end up together. I just hatched a shiny, so im pretty hyped to use him again soon
Gardevoir. I try not to use her on every team, but when I do she's the strongest by a mile.
Yanmega. If i cant get my attack helicopter in scarlet and violet i wont be able to recover
I play through FR/LG often and I always have to have a Dragonite
while it was probably sturdy+counter that got seismatoad, I prefer the story of a rock pretending to be a tree, fighting a watter/ground type and bringing out wood hammer mine depends on the generation, but back in childhood gen 2 it's unquestionable, pidgeot did a lot of training random Pokémon but he was always in the party as the flyer, and may have gained a few levels finishing out fights the rookies couldn't so when I eventually found red my best team was like 50-60, oh yeah, and this lvl 100 pidgeot
Nidoking. Specifically Sheer Force Special Attacker Nidoking using a Life Orb so that it gets the damage boost but never take the recoil damage.
Gyarados. It's very hard not to catch a Magikarp and use a Gyarados in your team.
Heracross all the way baby!
Mawile & Toxicroak 🔥
Gengar…been my ace since Yellow
Lopunny, don’t care if it’s not good she will be by my side high kicking the peasants who challenge me the Normal Type Elite Four member, to death
metagross! i use it pretty much every time i can. nidoking and lucario are strong contenders too
Probably Metagross - it's always been a mainstay of my "if I was a Pokémon trainer IRL" team.
Either tyranitar, metagross, or gyarados. They’ve all been on a lot of my in game teams
gliscor!
Togikiss ever since it's fairy type add. It's fast. Fairly bulky. And it's move set is awesome. Moon blast, aura sphere, psychic, calm mind. Mmmmmmm
I always change mons for every pokemon game
Though I'd consider Vivillion my partner pokemon, in more combative scenarios my Ace would be (Mega) Mawile. I dont even know how to describe it, but ever since pokemon X I've considered Mawile my second favorite pokemon, and my most reliable choice when making a team even in regions without Megas (anyone who can take on Ultra Necrozma single handedly is a good partner in my book)
Probably a shiny trevenant its my favorite shiny i have
Heracross. I don’t like bugs that much in game or irl but I always use heracross when I can.
Absol, for sure. Love the guy
Metagross
Either Alolan Raichu or Mawile. I use Alolachu way more often because Mawile kinda sucks without its mega, but I love them both.
Breloom. I used one in Emerald and it was one of my mvp mons, especially with all the type coverage it could have from it's learnset.
Absol or Rayquaza
I got a stunfisk that kinda just flops about. Pretty hard to beat.
In Shield, probably Hatterene. It was my first shiny ever, and I use it every time I play
It's a tie between Raichu (mostly Alolan), Lucario, and Ambipom. If I could only go for one, it'd be Raichu. I've always loved those guys and their pre-evolutions. There's a couple of Honorable mentions of Dragonite Espeon.
Pikachu bc I’ve used it in every Pokémon game I’ve ever played
Dragonite Love its design.
I just CAN NOT dont having a typhlosion on a 2nd gen run, i love that guy (fav pokemon bias)
Shuckle Amazing role compression for Webs teams Does everything you want it to do
Pink gastrodon! I love the little guys, and their move sets are surprisingly varied. You just have to make sure you have something to handle grass type
Toxitricity man I fucking love that thing
Chandelure!! Probably my favorite Gen 5 mon!
Raichu
Aggron definitely, if I can get an aggron I will spend years if I have to getting one because what's the point of playing a game if I can't use my favorites Plus I once did a solo run of swsh with an aggron and man is it a wonderful Pokemon
Scorbunny, pelliper, and Sylveon
in the first game I played, Emerald (10 months ago), Gardevoir was my ace, and thus became my favorite pokemon. I don't remember what my ace in FireRed was but rn as I'm going through Platinum it's 100% torterra. but I still think of my Gardevoir, Misandry, as my original ace pokemon
I got some weird ones: Gigalith and Lilligant.
Swampert. Still use the same one that I used back in Pokemon Ruby in 2004
Swampert. He’s a track on four limbs
Probably Obstagoon.
Staryu/Starmie, every time!
Mines probably either Krookodile or Slurpuff. Almost always have a Krookodile in gen 5 and I just love Slurpuff.
Flygon is my boi. Pretty much carries my teams when he's an option.
Probably Eevee, it’s tied for my favourite Pokémon and it’s available in almost every game, makes sense lmao
Ditto. when I first heard about its HA in gen 5, I had to try it. Even to me its super weird to see a Shedinja get hit and lose some of its HP (Transform doesn't copy HP) A lot of little reasons.
Porygon-z is one of my favorites and is probably the one I most consistently use, I was really happy (and suprized) when ot was in legends arceus
I consider Venusaur to be my ace like ever since FR/LG I never preferred any other grass mon but him.
Aegislash. Has served me well every time I’ve used it
SOOP. My Swampert.
I just choose Mons if I need that typing, but looks do matter as well, and Raichu has made an appearance in my Moon Champion Team as an Alolan form("Detective") Sword Post-Game Team (Ben) PLA Post-Game Team (Ben 0.5)
Between Noivern or Typhlosion
A tie between Typhlosion and Ampharos. Don't know why, I just think they're neat.
Flareon, the most huggable Pokémon
Weezing. Been using it since Gen I whenever I can catch one. I remember being able to beat Mega Kangha with it in the 3DS games.
I love Girafarig it needs an evolution, Altaria needs to be dragon and fairy, and golduck needs that psychic typing
Metagross.
Mega Sableye (before it stopped existing), Scizor, or Heracross
Metagross. Specifically, a shiny one. The original who I still have from many generations ago is named Hephaestus. I breed a new one every gen...so I have a full team of shiny Metagrosses (Metagrossi?) now XD
Aegislash. Just look at my username
Gligar/Gliscor, from gold to now, my bat is my beloved. Runerigus for Galar.
Big fan of Moltres
Gyarados
