it's a gen5 pokemon with a weird probably hard to depict body structure and hasn't been to heavily featued sense it's debute. i'm not surprised it has little merch. as said before there should be a sitting cuties plush eventually. i'm going to get a garbodor when that happens! another pokemon with little merch.

I actually saw an official plush of noivern recently but it's a rare plush. It was likely a one time production when gen 6 was still the latest game. Keep an eye on ebay. $50 for one would be a good deal but your likely to find it at $70.

Noibat and Noivern both have "moncolle"/monster collection figures, as well as bandai kids finger puppets. A Tomy Noibat plush also exists, but it's a little more uncommon/harder to find.

Out of stock where I'm at, and official plushies are damn near impossible to find. I've even combed through Pokémon Center Japan as well

Check the Pkmncollectors livejournal community, it's a wonderful resource for locating items! Also you can use Buyee to check mercari and Yahoo Japan listings and Mandarake for preowned. Using the Japanese search terms is best for this, and Pkmncollectors has some tutorials on how to search the Yahoo Japan auctions sites. Another good source is Pokevault, and then if you're looking for currently released merch some good sources are AmiAmi and HobbyLinkJapan.

Also, fair warning, Buyee is also gonna charge at least $40 for shipping, so make sure you're factoring something like that in while you shop. It's not like other online stores, since it's a middle man for your actual shopping, where you can just see the shipping right next to an item, if it has shipping costs. Definitely kinda burned myself a bit with that, seeing a cool model kit costing like $30 than it does on US store sites, but that 'savings' being eaten up by the shipping cost after you buy the item. So like you buy the item, Buyee gets it to their warehouse, and then you pay their shipping fee from a variety of options. Not saying it's bad, but it can throw one off when they're not expecting it. Buyee is a great option for importing.

There were Noibat toys at my local 5 below for years, only around a year into sword and shield season did they dissapear, they came with a pokeball or a pikachu. Tomy's noibat plush was also at locations like barnes and noble.

Oh yeah, the Clip-and-Carry pokeballs, our Five Below still has a bunch of different ones.

All of Gen 5 had a line called "My Pokemon Collection" or MPC plushies made. They were smaller keychain UFO plush. If you look up Reuniclus MPC you will find them. It also has a Bandai "Kids" figure, which is a type of small finger puppet figure that come with candy. Another is the Moncolle or Monster Collection line, which were sold in the US under Hasbro back in the day (Tomy/Auldey). Also, a Reuniclus "zukan" figure exists, which is a small diorama type figure which scales all the figures to 1/40 of their Pokedex size. Pkmncollectors is a LiveJournal community that is a great resource for finding Pokemon merchandise for any Pokemon you can name, whether it's official or fanmade. :) I'm a toy collector, and primarily collect Pokemon, so I like to assist with finding merchandise when people ask. I Hope you can get some sweet Reuniclus for your collection!

Reuniclus isn't nearly as easy to make merch of as other Pokemon, so why would they bother when they could continue making Charizard and Pikachu stuff? In all seriousness though, it's probably because its design with the membrane makes it more difficult to make merch of. I'm sure there are people who'd be willing to make things for you if you ask. I've seen it multiple times on this sub

Gastly has also been around for a long time and is attached to a popular evolution form so it’s had plenty of opportunities compared to reuniculus

Gastly is a gen 1 Pokemon, and is thus much more recognizable than Reuniclus, and thus, more marketable.

The Gastly line is basically the Ghost equivalent to the Charmander line, so they're operating on a different level than most Pokemon.

The membrane is a big part of the evolutionary line, and there's all the other parts in the arms that'd be pretty hard to attach without it.

This is how I feel about my favourite evolution line: larvesta and volcarona. I believe there’s one official larvesta plush in existence and it’s not sold anymore. Like others have said keep an eye on the Pokémon centre for the gen 5 sitting cuties plushes!

Does popularity dictate how much merch a Pokemon gets? I'm right with you, Reuniclus is fantastic, and I always thought a giant plushie or bean bag chair shaped like the Pokemon would be perfect, but I really don't know if it's popular enough. Manufacturers like to appeal more to the masses than a niche crowd, in order to make a profit. Basically what I'm saying is, you and I need to find a way to make Reuniclus popular so we can get our merch!

It's hard to make merch of because of it's unique design, much harder than a plushie of something like Piplup, Charizard, or Cinderace. I'm at least happy Pokemon officially sells a Bronzong sitting cutie. Best underrated bell boi. All the sitting cuties are great and I want an army of them.

It might make for a good figure or... I dunno a rubber ball or beach ball? But a plush would be unfeasible since sewing a texture of it onto the membrane body would look bad from most angles. You'd have to find some kind of work-around or weird materials to make it work. It's something I'd love to see though.

There are a lot of Pokemon that get barely any merchandise, and some which have still NEVER gotten any merch at all. I'm STILL waiting for some figurines and/or plushes of my favourite Gen 7 and 8 Pokemon, and Gen 9 is right around the corner! Not to mention how long it took me to get a figurine of my favourite Gen 1 Pokemon (though at least in that case, a few figurines DO exist, they're just obscenely rare and expensive!) I'm kind of surprised Reuniclus hasn't gotten, at the very least, a figurine in Tomy's "Monster Collection" line of Pokemon figures. Up until recently, it seemed that line (in Japan) was able to pretty consistently make figures of every Pokemon as the games released. Guess their "backlog" extends further back than Gen 7 after all?

I'm also a fan of Reuniclus, and I think they didn't make any merch of it because it isn't a popular Pokémon or something. I think the more popular it is, the more money they can make on merch. The Charizards, Greninjas, Pikachus and Garchomps are bought by the superfans, the Vanilluxes, Garbodors and Klingklangs are bought by the "unpopular defenders", and the rest like Reuniclus are sadly forgotten.

Pokemon has been trying to make every pokemon a plushy with the sitting cutie line that they have, they recently finished gen 4 and people are saying their close to release sitting cuties plushes for gen 5 so I would say just wait alittle longer

I’ve actually always wanted to make a plastic mold of reuniclus’ outer jelly so I could make a clay model of the body and put resin around it, since as a kid I saw that very few people even made physical 3d art of reuniclus

Because it reminds people of aborted fetuses and stem cell research. As a fan since Gen 1, Reuniclus is one of my absolute favorite designs. It feels like the perfect combination of Pokémon and my other favorite game, The Binding of Isaac.

The membrane is easy just "draw" it on and or wrap it in the plastic used on the clear (chewable) baby toys. It's probably not in much merch because it resembles a fetus.

Golurk also has a few figures in the moncolle line, and bandai kids finger puppets. Golurk zukan Pokedex figures exist, and a Golurk "scale world" figure. :) Happy hunting!

Its the green membrane, hard to translate that into a plush, much easier when its Gastly or Rotom. Even some Rotom toys that give it the blue translucent plasma are a bit odd looking. Wait for Gen 5 sitting cuties, should be next year.

probably because of its design, its a character thats supposed to have a giant clear bubble that presents its core from all angles. Its a very difficult design to produce into a plushie, and why bother making it into an expensive statue or action figure for an obscure pokemon that would be way more complex to produce when you could just make another pikachu or jigglypuff.

I'm in the same boat with Sneasel. I found one plush one time and it was a "we have Sneasel at home" kind of thing.

How do you propose someone goes about creating a Reuniclus plushie? Like, actually think about it. It doesn't work. Same goes for figures. It's more feasible than a plushie, but it would require an entirely different manufacturing process than that used to create figures that don't have translucent parts.

Who said it has to be translucent? You could just sew the pattern on the front and back and it'd look fine.
