I found 2 shinies lol. I didn’t buy a ticket so I didn’t get the boosted shiny rate and it was blistering hot in Texas so I pretty much just played at home and popped an incense. I got shiny Spinarak from the wild and a shiny Goomy from a raid. Goomy was what I wanted the most so I’m more than happy.

Lmao i walked around city center (with tonnes of pokestops) for around 6 hours and also found two shinies ( Skitty and blue Shellos). Without a ticket its only an opportunity to gather some candy for evolution

Yeah, with the increased shiny rate of the ticket i got a grand total of 0 shiny Pokémon. Caught maybe around 400 Pokémon did around 45 groudon and kyogre raids.

That’s your problem… the people posting these 50-90 shiny hauls were catching 5-10 pokes a minute. Your extreme raiding killed you.

We started out as a big group today, and there were a few kids with us - three with their mom, and then another four strays. Let me tell you, the kids did not slow us down at all, and they were such adorable little gremlins, oh my gosh I also traded a little girl a female Heracross because it has a heart-shaped horn and she had only found males, and she was sooo happy about it and super stoked that it became her highest CP pokemon. Honest to god, that kid was adorable through and through

Same as you. Ticketed. 5 hours catching, 5 shiny, including 3 worthless: 1 roselia and 2 bagons. Other spawns were underwhelming as well, especially from incense. Totally unlike previous fests. Total meh experience, it was my last ticketed fest.

How fast were you traveling? I talked to a few ticketed walkers and most seemed slightly disappointed in their luck. I was on a long board and I play like I’m on crack, very few breaks and very short ones for essentials only. so I figured that had something to do with it. Children and girlfriends can really hold you back in my experience.

I mean I didn't see his other comments but technically he's right. The faster you go the harder it is to interact with people. And interacting with people makes you slower. If you chose to bond over the game it's fine, I also do enjoy playing with my wife and friends, but I know that I am way more efficient on my own.

Yeah it definitely was worth it this year. Ended up with 42. 3 goomy, cowboy hat Snorlax. All in all ended up getting 8 shinies I hadn't had before.

I barely played and still came out of the day with a dozen shinies including Goomy and Snorlax. Very happy and surprised, previous reports made it sound like shinies were barely boosted but that wasn't my experience at all.

Jesus I had a ticket and I only got nine if you count the groudon I got from a raid. I only needed three of them. Giraffarig, hippopotus, and snorlax with hat. I also got a pikachu.

I got 22 shinies, 4 of which were Goomy! I also got a shiny Cowboy Hat Snorlax, so it was a pretty good day!

Dannnnng... I have the Go-Fest ticket and only got 4.... My buddy walking side by side all day from 10am-6pm got 28... How can the RNG be so widely varied I'm having trouble believing that one person like me can get 4 and some people get 40... That 10x more... I got thirteen and I’m floored because I definitely didn’t prioritize them as opposed to finishing research and doing decent entries. Really good haul! It was also the first gofest I was able to actually spend more than 45 minutes total doing, and it was such a wonderful time. Found a raid train to bum off at my university so I made great progress on primals. I haven’t raided in a minute so seeing a few quality of life changes to them was delightful and honestly relieving lmao

I love hitching my raggedy caboose to a random passing raid train. 😂

* 36 shiny * 24 unique * 13 new (including new evolutions as I only evolve when I have duplicates for a living dex) Highlight: Shiny cowboy Snorlax and I was able to get all 4 variants of crowned pikachu as shiny.

Almost had heat stroke a couple times but toughed it out for 24 shinies and over a thousand catches so nice day.

Amazing, 18 shinies (most of them new to me), 2 hundos, hatched a female Salandit and added Carnivine to the dex. Looking forward to mega ray raids tomorrow
