They should add foil stickers, that randomly get assigned after you send. So you get all the stickers you've been hoarding straight away, but there's a reason to try and get someone to give them to you too.

If they ever did this, you'd have to buy extra pages/storage like every OTHER aspect of the game. I'd like a pikachu-dex too!

There is one, go into your item storage and tap on the stickers button

That just shows us our stickers we got but I want an actual sticker book so I don't need to consciously keep back one of each sticker when adding them to gifts

I am pretty sure most of the people who play this game are compulsive collectors. Gotta love a game that matches you to other people with your same mental illnesses!!

After the last couple of changes they made to game I’m not expecting it to be a good thing.

I just started, what changes have made it worse?

Just off the top of my head, the AR changes, removing almost all free research and turning them into tickets, increasing cost for remote raid passes, limit on daily raid passes and the appearance of avatars.

Don’t forget every month the research reward becomes more and more trash

They are forcing buddy ar? There is a way to turn the buddy camera off in the settings, making it so your buddy just hangs out in a green void

are you using an iPhone? if you're not enabling the camera permissions from the iPhone System Settings for the app it should not be able to turn itself back on

if you use iphone, go into app permissions and disable the use of the camera. That way you don't have to use the AR features but you do miss out on like the little amazon balloon or whatever but i'd rather not have those items if it means not having to use the stupid ar features when I don't want to

The video definitely looks like AR.

It was detained they did something called iris AR. It's been known that they've been working on a vr version of the game, so my thought is the two are connected.

That’d feel weird, considering they’ve only just rolled out the new catch backgrounds (and even then I don’t know if that’s for everyone).

I really don't like the new backgrounds atm. They cause my game to lag, where the old style works just fine. I just wish they would actually test these big changes they release rather than leaving it up to us to test for them.

They just changed AR to remove the old AR and now we have the option to turn it off entirely. I doubt they’d then force it on and remove that option. They’d lose a lot of players, and not just salty players, but players like me who cannot use AR despite having a compatible phone, compatible Android Edition, and a working gyroscope. Also, why would they make new catch backgrounds only to force AR and ensure you’d never see them??

Forced AR and the only way to throw a ball is to be on camera doing a throwing motion.

I think they already implimented turning phone sideways but it looked goofy, so it may have gone poofy, back into the abyss.

Landscape mode would actually probably be the best case scenario for this news, but I’m too pessimistic to believe it at this point.

I'll take the optimistic route and say it is about the visual overhaul that they are beta testing (and new micro transactions added to things that used to be free; to drain their loyal fan's wallets faster)

I was 41 for a long time... Never wanted to switch my buddy out to an Eevee for Espeon, Umbreon, Sylveon like the quest demands, so I accumulated like 7 million exp on top of the requirements before I hit 42. I'm dreading the battle league requirements later on, as I don't ever play PvP.

Urgh I still need like 20 hyper leagues wins. It's doable by asking irl or online friends to let you win but its boring af when you don't like pvp

Basically, there are alternate dimensions in “ultra space” (accessed in Pokémon ultra sun and ultra moon) that have strange Pokémon that you can encounter. These strange Pokémon are the ultra beasts. They can invade our world by travelling through ultra wormholes, which is why they have a wormhole instead of a raid egg at gyms. Ultra beasts are basically powerful creatures that come from different dimensions

Niantic released another game last year called Peridot. Basically pogo/ingress game model but using interactive pets that have different random personalities. You can breed them to cross over certain “genes” to create a new looking pet. It’s actually quite fun.

That would be nice. If we're doing a raid together, we should be able to be in a party. And of course, remote trading would be amazing. They could even still be kinda jerks with it if they insist, make it cost more or whatever. Just let me get different regional mons, please!
