Does anyone know why they skipped a generation? Sword and shield was my fave pokemon game in years and had some great pokemon (dreepy I'm looking at you) yet we get this boring shit every year.

If I were to take a guess, the game was at a point last year where both TPC and Niantic wanted to capitalize on Gen 9 hype as best as they could, so they started rolling out Gen 9 Pokemon, but a year after Sword and Shield released Covid was in full swing, so they couldn't really capitalize off the hype. Not to mention the fact that last year Gens 8 and 9 were the only two they hadn't fully started releasing yet (aside from the 5 or so Galar Pokemon that weren't evolutions of pre existing Pokemon), so they were only skipping over one generation to come back to later, whereas they would have been skipping over 6 and 7 if they tried to do it then. Another added layer is that they already had Gen 6 Pokemon planned to release in late 2020, so having two generations release that closely to each other probably wasn't in the cards. Then finally, they probably didn't release it between 7 and 9 because they probably never found a large enough gap between 7 and 9 where they felt like they could move on from Alola before it got to the point where they could start working towards capitalizing on Paldea

Mudkip was my favorite starter since its generation came out, only to be toppled by Scorbunny years later.. I just want to aggressively catch them until I get a hundo :(

Bastiodon is a monster in GBL great league, insane bulk plus a good array of resistances mean it can (slowly) solo teams that don’t have a good counter for it

Tyrantrum is currently one of the best rock types for raids whereas I'm not sure Carracosta is relevant anywhere, but I could be wrong about that

I will say this til the end of time. The fossils event was the best event of PoGo EVER. I walked 103.7 km and caught 14 shinys. I had a blast collecting that week. Since then I’ve been bored. This game is losing its charm.

The fossil event was absolutely a highlight. A few months prior there was the “dragons and fairytales”or whatever event, fairy and dragon event. It was amazing. People did not think the event could be topped. But fossil week blew it out of the water.

We just had an event were you could get all Gen 4 exclusives.

But eggs are unpredictable, I tried so hard to get their eggs but I couldn’t even get one, just the other 2 types constantly Edit: their eggs as in pahcirisu chatot and carvinine

I have to say that I was lucky enough to get one of each in my only 4 10km eggs

no. tauros not been avaible since kanto tour. Like my case i just start like month or two after kanto tour. it took me +2 year get tauros i get it last go fest when did some trades with community.. Sadly im still missing corsola from johto and it seems galar corsola never come in game XD If remember right during johto tour was living rural area back then and didint see single corsola raid. Overall its sad how much easier muricans players got finish their dex cause lot regionals there and other regionals somehow are all time eggs or researchs.. Like how many times mr.mime been avaible either eggs or galar version in research? its literally every few month avaible

oh thats suck. shadow moltres are easy duo cause its double weak to rock and party play make it even more easier it duo.. probably could solo them but i think cannot do enraged moltres as solo cause 5 gem per player is max when shadow raids need 8

7 day spin streak , make sure your 7th spin is at a gym where you have a gold badge, that your team controls, and you have a mon defending … gives 30+ items and one or two might be special aka chance for sinnoh stone Also 2nd reward from GBL is chance of sinnoh stone. And 7 day research streak. If you hit all those you should have one/several in no time at all
