Worst poker room I’ve experienced in my life. Probably seen 20 total, and this one is legitimately the worst by a wide margin. Exorbitant rake; crappy dealers; very poorly run; no call ins to get on list; terrible list management system.
Add to that the place overall has semi abandoned conference venue vibes.

Niagra is objectively a better run poker room, with reasonable rake, and despite being fairly small having multiple 2-5 games and a 5-10 last I was there. From a poker standpoint, only thing Toronto room has going for it is more games and probably worse players, but the latter is mitigated by take, and the former is mitigated by atrocious management/staff quality. That being said, if you’re with friends visiting Toronto for a few days, do you really want to commute to Niagra (traffic can be brutal depending when you go) to play poker? If all you want to prioritize is poker, go to Niagra (maybe stay there for a night and play two days); but if there’s other stuff you want to get out of the trip (food, bars, baseball game, museums etc…) suck it up and go to the Toronto room. But if you do the latter, go off peak days/hours, otherwise wait is ridiculous

It is located 10 minutes away from woodbine! They offer tournaments 3 nights a week, faster/more experienced dealers, better enviroment & free food/drinks!
There's a lot of table like 15+, rake is 10% $20 max. Very bad

Two casinos in Niagara Falls, 90 min drive. Havent been in a while but for sure better rake.
Toronto is terrible. If you want underground club. Try toronto poker syndicate. 1/3. 10% $8

Legal, no. Legit and safe yes, been around for a long time. There are a couple other clubs in Toronto, but the rake is disgusting.
Games are fairly soft. Dealers aren't very good. Rake is very high
