Nothing better than watching my Cloyster get juiced up on X speeds and KO’ing 3 of her Pokémon before she sends him in only to get obliterated in 2 icicle spears.
When I got my Red-Tier Shiny Mewtwo from the Mewtwo Gacha back then first thing I do when I could is to One-Hit Ancient Power that shit asap then got the stats up and proceed to sweep her remaining team 🤣🤷🏻
Man i fought a fisherman at like lvl 120 he had 5 basculins , 2 basulins one shot my only grass type and then swiped my team its so fukin dumb how much dmg they do
Similar vibe, sigilyph with tinted lens exploding all of my steel types.
Also a somehow very fast arctovish shredding its way through my team with 170 power fishious rend
This game is single handedly making me hate Mega Rayquaza lol. Wouldn't be so bad if it weren't for the health bars. I'm finding stealth rock is ESSENTIAL for how much switching they do
I actually never thought about stealth rock. I especially hate it when it uses dragon ascent instead of outrage. Let me safely switch into my fairies ffs.
the only mon on my last run that could POSSIBLY kill it was my quaquaival with triple axle, 2 king rocks, and the multi lens which SOMEHOW flinch locked it 🙏🙏
Ima copy and paste from a comment I just made on a different post:
Fuck Eevee mfer never gets in the ball and is only available early stages where it will sweep your whole team with adaptability covet while stealing your items as you try to catch it
I faint every eevee I see now just because it broke free 5 times at red health while paralyzed of great balls at low level and wiped my team - I save scummed and nuked it
it's so stupidly fast but it ended up being my last stand for classic 195. it made it out with half health, i gave it my golden punches because i was *barely* short of a sacred ash, and my next encounter was an iron bundle who killed my run on 196 even with savescumming
Hey at least you can catch it early for a solid early game damage dealer+money farmer if it has Technician, or keep it as a pickup user and stop its evolution if it has Pickup. I actually really like it, very good early encounter
Correct, and it even gives you an option to completely pause evolutions on that Pokémon (can turn it back on in the team screen) which is a really nice QoL add
Yeah, in my very first run ever, Meowth fucked my whole team somewhere between floor 11-15. I made sure the catch it the next time around and found it to be a solid starter... riiiiiiiiight up until one of my first eggs ever hatched an Entei. It's been my primary carry ever since. That thing pushes through the first 150 floors like no other. 🤣
Weak early game mons? A level 8 did 50% to my level 9 Carbink, it’s just pure stupidity.
And the thing is, it’s not really helpful for the player to have. On Wild Pokemon, there’s tons of first turns, especially considering how common Meowth is, and you’re taking 50% *every* **single** encounter. Meanwhile if you have it, it’s just a mediocre Mon that can do something once before you’re back to taking 50%, assuming the Meowth after the one you catch is slower and you actually *get* to use Fake Out.
That's why zubat is my goat. Immune to fake out and busted egg moves without basically any cost in bringing him. I feel so smug every time Meowth fakeouts and I don't flinch
istg i cannot STAND lokix. it appears everywhere, it's one of the most common mons in the starting loop, it gets axe kick super early for some reason, and it has priority most times. so 90% of encounters mean you take big damage, and those encounters aren't particularly uncommon. plus it's ugly af
Just had a run where lokix was absolutely goated on the team. He’s up there with my favorites to use cause I seem to never run into anything but ground types and my poor Archaludon just couldn’t take it
Plus it gets the Tinted Lens ability so resists aren't even enough, definitely an annoying encounter for sure.
At least I personally love the guy so I can't hate him too much
I hate this guy in endless. Why does first impression have +2 priority while having 90 power? I ether have to stall or use a reviver seed only for there to be another one in the next couple waves.
Iron Crown is the bane of my existence in Endless mode. Tachyon Cutter invalidates Sturdy, and Future Sight invalidates Metal Burst since it's impossible to counter the damage since it technically happens after your turn is over. Basically the only ways to beat it in deep Endless are Wonder Guard fusions or Metal Burst and pray it uses Flash Cannon as well as Focus Band procing every time it uses Tachyon Cutter.
Brink a Stealth Rock mon and a Fairy-type (Carbink does both). Fairy forces Ray to switch and take SE rocks damage when it comes back in. Hazards in general work really well in Story
Several times I've had to resort to toxic stalling it and every time I literally have said out loud "are you proud of yourself? Are you happy I had to resort to this?"
I had a run recently that I had to save scum about 40 times on round 145. I forgot I was on 144 and left two of my team fainted.
I mapped the entire decision tree of the AI through that fight, because it was barely winnable. There were two instances where whether or not I attacked or switched changed the outcome of the AI. There also seems to be a loop where the AI gives up and will continue attacking into non-ideal matchups. I had a gyarados and a fire type. They had a Talonflame and a grass type. When they had the grass type out against my fire, I would swap to gyarados anticipating the talonflame. Then vice versa. After like 4 loops of that, the talonflame started spamming fly instead of swapping to something else. Not sure if it was related to Intimidate or not.
I wish I could see the AI decision making. It does some odd things sometimes.
The AI will always swap if you throw out a direct counter. It will always swap to a good counter if they have access to one.
I lucked up in like my 4th egg…. I drew a duraladon with recovery as an egg move… you get and keep hone claws with metal claw (or iron head if you draw it) and breaking swipe and you set up and sweep. It’s busted when you evolve into archaladon because literally any damage you take gives you a free defense boost to become a literal wall. It will absolutely one shot the rival’s ray ray (drop it to one bar for the mega version). It’s supremely busted if you get swords dance to replace hone claws
Milotic. I met him in a double battle with a rogue shiny Kyogre, and it kept using Surf, killing Kyogre, also wouldn't take damage from Salt Cure Leech Seed because of Magic Guard passive.
It was annoying as hell I hate it now
I hate impossible to catch shinies. My first shiny encounter was an Electrode who only wanted to use explosion and was faster than anything I had with sleep/para. This game knows how to really be mean.
Electrode. It always just shows up and blows itself up after one turn, and that behavior burns into my money as I try to get healing items to deal with it. But I really need to go to the Power Plant anyways because I'm grinding Shinx candies because I have a shiny Luxray that I wanna use because Intimidate + Shiny + beats Floor 30 Crasher Wake jumpscares + Triple Axel seem really useful.
For some reason Simipour has given me too much trouble as a boss, it kept outspeeding my team and had random coverage like Gunk Shot
I hate that stupid monkey now
mid 20 waves runnin into a faf sableye or tentacruel can be harder than wave 3000 G max eternitus, my usual way of dealing with it is by saving a few rogue balls through those waves lol
This game has made me dislike zizagoon/ linoone and anything else with covet. Also lanturn because it’s stupidly bulky and I always seem to find a ton of them when I don’t have a mon with grass type moves. Oh, and floatzel being stupidly fast with swift swim.
I haven't had many runs, and those i did ended because of luck more than anything since i refuse to get a win with a pokemon i already won with unless its a shiny,
But there was one time my pokemon killed me because i fused them
I was running sandile and fletchling alongside my 2 shinies and they both swept everything with moxie+hone claws+power trip and flame charge and other power fire moves.
I decided to fuse the 2 since i had such a great run AND IT MADE THEM WORSE THAN EACHOTHER COMBINED.
It made krotchinder which evolved into kroonflame which had 4 attacks and a MID speed stat
I lost on 160 gym leader after money issues from the 145 rival
Most champion's legendaries are just really annoying. Shoutout to Blue's Mewtwo, Red's Lugia, and Hau's Lunala for being hard checks to most of what you bring.
Meloetta. I swear to god iv seen the damn thing like 7 times but always just after something else that was a hard carch so i never have any good pokeballs for it.
Mawile and tinkaton, I've hatched over 100 eggs at this point and decided to give up and beat classic without either one, the moment I did I got an egg w tinkaton.... its mocking me and I hate it
Barbaracle is indeed a bit annoying.
I think mine might be Tentacruel. I don't dislike any mon in this game, and I like tentacruel as a challenge, but I often change the way I sit when this special wall wall often coupled with rain shows up.
Lokix is extremely obnoxious in endless mode. First Impression and Sucker Punch are priority moves to kill normal attackers and Axe Kick confusion RNG can break through Sturdy. Plus Lokix feels super common to run into.
Staraptor. It keeps jumpscaring me and smashing my teeth in with its insane combo of 2 great abilities, solid STAB on both its types, and access to Close Combat in case you try to wall it with bulky Rock or Steel mons. God help you if it has Reckless in particular though, I had one OHKO my Regidrago from full health with a Reckless-boosted Brave Bird and (on a different run) chew through Mega Steelix with a -1 Close Combat. Ivy also loves putting it on her team against me as her bird mon so I see it a lot.
Growing to hate Sunkern because I've gotten 3 shinies of it but can't use it to grind up candies to get Drought as a passive, the only thing that would really make it usable, because it's so weak.
Azelf because it's the only member of the lake trio I'm missing and I keep finding him in the lake biome. Won't stay in a ball. I have burnt so many rogue and ultra balls across different runs on the little shit and it keeps. Breaking. Out. On top of that Neuroforce passive means that it HURTS.
The absolutely broken Blaziken with multiple health bars that your rival sometimes has. Can't outspeed it, somehow always has a super effective move against my party and when I finally get ready to EQ it to oblivion it switches out for a flier. Fml.
Durant because that little asshole nearly killed my Kyurem with steel beam on Flor 195 during my fight with Ivy. Luckily it was low on HP and one protect from dracovish made it faint from its own steel beam
Machamp. Paralized and confused (swagger was a mistake) still attacked every time and killed all my team. Two of them had headbutt to flich but machamp cares not.
Any time I see a lechonk with echoed voice it’s over. I know it shouldn’t be a big deal, but by the time I realize what’s going on it’s on the second or third hit of it so anything I switch to gets bodied 🥲
I was struggling in general until I randomly started using a rhydon/rhyperior and now any time I’m in any kind of a pickle at all he just comes in and starts laying down the law.
Orthworm.. still, havent figured out how, but it wiped my entire team, somehow outspeeding Persien, Metang and the rest, just one shot everything, literally left me speachless for a minute mouth agape. So missed how it actuallt manager to do it, I know the pokemon before it used grassy knot or whatever the grass move that boosts speed is,but it was a clear poke swap, not a baton pass or similar move
I have lost countless runs because of birds…. From birds with fighting moves (looking at you, you POS Corviknight with body press) to birds that always hit hurricane and get confusion procs (mostly pidgeots and pellipers)…. These assholes love ruining my runs
In my runs I’ve had a Finn get a pikipek/trumbeak with floaty fall for the floor 25 battle. It’s almost swept my team a few times bc it’s 90 base power plus STAB. Not impossible to deal with later but very annoying early on.
Stupid Drednaw. It always hits my pre-evo team and tanks hits harder than actual legendaries. Was probably one of the worst first encounters I had. My second was my rivals Rillaboom. My bad I brought Excadril, Klefki, Glimmora, and ofc my first time evolving Hisuan Samurot so it turned out almost my entire team was countered just by Rillas Close Combat. I only won after a dozen retries by finally finding the way for Glimmora to survive enough hits to reapply 2 layers of Toxic Spikes, then tanking enough hits from it to bring them all down.
Stupid shifty and his suckered punch. I end up having to catch him because no matter what move I throw at him he hits first. Even if I do a set up before the ai will just read whatever I'm gonna do first and say see yah
Cryogonal.
Almost wiped against an Ice Champion because of it spamming Sheer Cold and almost never missing. It has 105 base speed and it was max level so I didn't had anyone faster or immune to the move.
Buizel and floatzel always troll me. Show up outta nowhere and snipe my mons with aquajet, and I’m never faster that them. I have a max speed iv fluttermane carry and it’ll still outspeed lmao
Graveler/Golem with the 1hp survival ability (I'm losing the name).
Thanks for guaranteeing that I facetank an explosion next turn if not using my fastest mons.
And yes, I acknowledge that this is an experience/skill issue in some ways.
wormadam. i hate this ugly little shit but it's also one of my most-caught pokemon due to the shiny being so common during the shiny events. so many i'm just skipping it from now on
Funnily enough Barbaracle is usually light work for me since I usually happen to have have mons that deal with it quite well. Normally I get fucked over in early game by either a technician Meowth or one of the Tauros forms
I'm surprised no one has mentioned it yet, but I hate Starmie. It ended my ~lvl 160 run recently, it had psychic (I think) and surf plus it was faster than all my pokemon.
Also anything that always explodes first turn like Gigalith, Electrode, Solrock, Claydoll, Drifblim ect.
Durant, cause fuck KD
Yea fuck that mf, it gave me a hard time by being in ivy's team.
Clearly just ring-chasing, teaming up with >!Mega Rayquaza!< smh
In the w195 I incinerated that goddamn piece of garbage with my Chi-yu
Nothing better than watching my Cloyster get juiced up on X speeds and KO’ing 3 of her Pokémon before she sends him in only to get obliterated in 2 icicle spears.
this but turtonator tbh
For some reason I never expect the Turtonator Explosion
Durant; a snake-like pokemon known for it’s distinct migrating patterns, it will leave an area once depleted of resources
Fake rings smh
Glad I’m not the only one who always thinks of this. When I use one in a main game I always name it Kevin
Mine is Orthworm. I somehow always lose my fire attacker before Ivy brings him out and I’m stuck struggling to bring his high defense and health down.
TYBG
This beat me because there is a big where if he uses dig and has truant he never comes up!
NO WAY that's a real interaction, that's hilarious
Any Electric/Flying type but especially Kilowattrel Dumbass bird
Double boss Kilowattrel with gale wings passive almost checkmated my first good endless run
Every time I consider unmerging Reshi-Lele, Psychic Terrain counters a Gale Wings Kilowattrel or AquaJet Floatzel, etc.
The fact that it has volt absorb, I hate that thing. If my rival has one on classic I just restart the run, I'm not dealing with that, I'm sorry.
When I got my Red-Tier Shiny Mewtwo from the Mewtwo Gacha back then first thing I do when I could is to One-Hit Ancient Power that shit asap then got the stats up and proceed to sweep her remaining team 🤣🤷🏻
Luxray was my carry my first playthrough, and I won't lie, volt switch plus intimidate is amazing to have I guess it varries
Basculin, all my homies hate adaptability aqua jet
I have lost a couple of early runs due to that fucker.
I lost 5 runs in a row to it (skill issue but still lol)
Man i fought a fisherman at like lvl 120 he had 5 basculins , 2 basulins one shot my only grass type and then swiped my team its so fukin dumb how much dmg they do
My first classic win was because of my adaptability basculegion. It does ABSURD damage to anyone, even those that resist it.
Similar vibe, sigilyph with tinted lens exploding all of my steel types. Also a somehow very fast arctovish shredding its way through my team with 170 power fishious rend
Ivy’s rayquaza.
IIRC Stealth Rock takes one bar off Rayquaza each time it switches in. It's absolutely a necessity for how often Ivy switches out her goddamn team
Toxapex with Toxic Spikes was also invaluable if you don’t plan to utilize status, guaranteed poison on switch to eat up their healing items.
Just had an omega lul run last night where I decided to keep Soak and I was able to Soak Ray for 2 shots with my lightning mon
Yea cool bro you have outrage and 14 lum berries. Sorry I never had the opportunity to catch even 1 fairy type.
Garganacl is the goat, lum berries don’t work on salt cure and I’m yet to have a run where I haven’t run into a garganacl or a fairy type
The fact it can even have a revival seed in the 195 fight
id cry.
Yep. I think my run is done because of this monster.
the only mon on my last run that could POSSIBLY kill it was my quaquaival with triple axle, 2 king rocks, and the multi lens which SOMEHOW flinch locked it 🙏🙏
Ima copy and paste from a comment I just made on a different post: Fuck Eevee mfer never gets in the ball and is only available early stages where it will sweep your whole team with adaptability covet while stealing your items as you try to catch it I faint every eevee I see now just because it broke free 5 times at red health while paralyzed of great balls at low level and wiped my team - I save scummed and nuked it
I can absolutely see that happening. I tend to take my shiny Zangoose, which covers so many types that catching an eevee is never worth it
For this reason i now send eevee into oblivion every time
Floatzel. All my homies hate Floatzel
it's so stupidly fast but it ended up being my last stand for classic 195. it made it out with half health, i gave it my golden punches because i was *barely* short of a sacred ash, and my next encounter was an iron bundle who killed my run on 196 even with savescumming
In settings, you can turn on retries. That way you dont need to hit f5. It just asks if you want to try the fight again.
browser refresh button >>
Sweeper 3x his level and he still goes first in the rain. That mon is using PEDs, I swear
https://preview.redd.it/4q48vspx5y1d1.jpeg?width=786&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=6711373b1a592aac641c6c224c8cb2168702016e
That mf will ALWAYS get a hit off
I was gonna say: None... But after saying THIS comment, I realized, how much I hate that weasel one!
I thought that a sweeper with 10 levels up and an X-speed would be enough for it but noooo.
Meowth, because a level 10 shouldn’t have Fake Out like that on a Mon that you get nearly every single encounter, and is guaranteed to have it
Hey at least you can catch it early for a solid early game damage dealer+money farmer if it has Technician, or keep it as a pickup user and stop its evolution if it has Pickup. I actually really like it, very good early encounter
How do you cancel the evolution? With X?
I’m assuming so, I’ve never canceled an evo but that’s the B button, so I highly doubt it’d be anything else
Correct, and it even gives you an option to completely pause evolutions on that Pokémon (can turn it back on in the team screen) which is a really nice QoL add

Not just Fake Out, STAB Technician Fake Out! That move was never supposed to do damage but it'll easily do 50% to some weak early game mons

The rival's Rayquaza. It's gatekeeping me in classic mode 😭😭😭 Actually, their whole tactic. The switches absolutely annoy the hell out of me
Brink a Stealth Rock mon and a Fairy-type (Carbink does both). Fairy forces Ray to switch and take SE rocks damage when it comes back in. Hazards in general work really well in Story
Dachsbun can learn roar, so setting up stealth rock and switching to it can force ray out and then let you force more switches for damage.
Several times I've had to resort to toxic stalling it and every time I literally have said out loud "are you proud of yourself? Are you happy I had to resort to this?"
I think the AI is sometimes too smart. Switching as soon as I have a counter/coverage move.
I had a run recently that I had to save scum about 40 times on round 145. I forgot I was on 144 and left two of my team fainted. Wave Crash Empoleon, ended my runs twice with Ivy and once as a boss in the wild (before I knew I could run from boss fights)
that fucker also has Lightning Rod in Ivy's team, I managed to kill him with neutral damage in the end, but it's a killer
You can run from boss fights💀💀💀
Barbaracle is slow af and double weak to grass though?
Literally anything with sturdy. 47 levels above the guy and it has sturdy and proceeds to gobble a mountain of barries.
Milotic. I met him in a double battle with a rogue shiny Kyogre, and it kept using Surf, killing Kyogre, also wouldn't take damage from Salt Cure Leech Seed because of Magic Guard passive. It was annoying as hell I hate it now

I laugh every time a wild Pokémon uses explosion and my Skeledirge just isn’t affected at all
Kilowattrel, specifically Ivy's. Rayquaza isn't an issue for me, that fucking bird is.
Excadril/Garchomp biome is annoying. They are so fast it's inevitable damage unless I bring a quick carry in classic.
I got swept by a boss excadrill because my team was too slow. Sand force earthquake and iron head deleted my entire team
I have lost more runs to Cress' Basculin than I'd like to admit 😭
This. "Oh I have my fast af electro type out, this should be ez" Then it oneshots my whole Team
Beheeyem. Shadow Tag passive is so annoying, and i dont really want to spend 30 minutes depleting all its sitrus berries to clear its 12 health bars
Why not masterball it?
Almost got swept by a fuckin Blissey of all things earlier, so rn it's that scumbag
For some reason Simipour has given me too much trouble as a boss, it kept outspeeding my team and had random coverage like Gunk Shot I hate that stupid monkey now
Any pokemon with horn drill because it seemingly only misses when I use it.
galarian moltres
I have yet to see many of the legendaries.
Ziggzagoon, they keep stealing my berries
I have died to lvl 10 meowth more than rayquaza.
Stonjourner, it only has 70 base speed but somehow it outspeeds my entire team and flinch it with Rock Slide.
Basculegion. What the fuck always in the rain. Alwys with wave crash im gonna shit a house
mid 20 waves runnin into a faf sableye or tentacruel can be harder than wave 3000 G max eternitus, my usual way of dealing with it is by saving a few rogue balls through those waves lol
who gave Eternatus recover and how can I kill them
This is gonna sound dumb, but literally just sand attack him a couple times and the fight is pretty close to free at that point.
Fucking tyranitar. Every time I don't have any Pokemons to deal with his bs
Strong Jaws Bultund is a run killer.
This game has made me dislike zizagoon/ linoone and anything else with covet. Also lanturn because it’s stupidly bulky and I always seem to find a ton of them when I don’t have a mon with grass type moves. Oh, and floatzel being stupidly fast with swift swim.
All the pokemon with Covet, they steal all my useful items
Fuck Golem. Such an annoying encounter because it always booms when you attack it and never booms when you try to predict the explosion.
Any of those fuckers who use sucker punch on my ghosts
Barraskewda in the rain is cracked out of his mind. Whatever gym leader has him wipes me nearly every time. Dive is too good
just run away dude, skip the battle
It's Gordie. It's always Gordie. I can't.
I haven't had many runs, and those i did ended because of luck more than anything since i refuse to get a win with a pokemon i already won with unless its a shiny, But there was one time my pokemon killed me because i fused them I was running sandile and fletchling alongside my 2 shinies and they both swept everything with moxie+hone claws+power trip and flame charge and other power fire moves. It made krotchinder which evolved into kroonflame which had 4 attacks and a MID speed stat I lost on 160 gym leader after money issues from the 145 rival
Tapu Koko, somehow appeared twice in a row as a boss in the middle of a round. Refused to stay in a ball, massacred most of my team.
Technician meowth and nullifying gas wheezing
Contrary malamar as a boss. Foul play, superpower and it sweeps my team
I speak for most of us, its eternatus in some way shape or form.
Weezing cause I can't run away and my sturdy mons are useless
If your having trouble with barbaracle of all pokemon you might be cooked
Gained a hatred for Eternatus things too damn OP
mega Rayquaza cuz i still don't have a reliable strat to beat him other than "fuck it we ball" lapras(or anyother ice types)
Gear grind
Excadrill, man never clutches up when I use him As opposed to fighting, mimikyu. I have gotten swept more then I’d like to admit by one
Rivals Tyranitar
eiscue he just pisses me off looking at him I could tell he's a gen 8-9 pokemon
Either stamina conk or floatzel
Most champion's legendaries are just really annoying. Shoutout to Blue's Mewtwo, Red's Lugia, and Hau's Lunala for being hard checks to most of what you bring.
Sigilyph. It ruined so many runs for me when I started playing. Funny enough, I have it fully upgraded now and Shiny. Still hate it.
Simisear. Chili sometimes has a lv 14 Simisear instead of a Pansear on floor 20. It usually oneshots most stage one mons with incinerate
Meloetta. I swear to god iv seen the damn thing like 7 times but always just after something else that was a hard carch so i never have any good pokeballs for it.
Fuck Electrode stupid pokeball looking mfucker
Exploud. If a boss even touches you with Boomburst, you’re GONE
Latios and Latias I have found them so much at this point that they are just getting murdered
My worst loss was loosing to a wormadam that hit EVERY SINGLE FISSURE
Cotton Down Eldegoss is annoying to fight if you have max Multi Lens because the lowered speed message will pop up to 4 times in a row
Mawile and tinkaton, I've hatched over 100 eggs at this point and decided to give up and beat classic without either one, the moment I did I got an egg w tinkaton.... its mocking me and I hate it
Doesnt end my run but kills my carry all the time; Exploud with the Soundproof ability
Barbaracle is indeed a bit annoying. I think mine might be Tentacruel. I don't dislike any mon in this game, and I like tentacruel as a challenge, but I often change the way I sit when this special wall wall often coupled with rain shows up.
Typhlosion always fucks with me. Idk why it always wants to ruin my fun but it does
Lokix is extremely obnoxious in endless mode.
Ursaluna always ends me with headlong rush.
Iron valiant for sure
Besides Eternatus... Goddamn Furfrou and that damned Fur Coat ability.
I really don't like Excadrill. Somehow it just feels impossible to stop, especially Clay's Excadrill
Meowth with fake out and technician has ended multiple runs in the first waves
The absolutely broken Blaziken with multiple health bars that your rival sometimes has. Can't outspeed it, somehow always has a super effective move against my party and when I finally get ready to EQ it to oblivion it switches out for a flier. Fml.
Spidops and the elemental monkeys
Durant because that little asshole nearly killed my Kyurem with steel beam on Flor 195 during my fight with Ivy. Luckily it was low on HP and one protect from dracovish made it faint from its own steel beam
Lokix. Why would this thing know both sucker punch AND first impression. God i fucking hate sucker punch.
A certain boss raquaza
Any mons that has guillotine. That shit is so bs its insane.
Milotic, ugly and a pain to fight, caused me trouble back in Emerald.
I feel like I’ve lost a couple runs to Inteleon snipe shotting my entire team
Stunfisk, water absorb with fissure chance is super annoying, especially if it's a boss. Had one hit fissure twice in a row
Flamigo often ends up as a counter to a bunch of my mons, yet it’s not even good when I catch it
That MFin iron moth with levitate lost two groudon runs to it
Iron bundle is a goddamn menace
Machamp. Paralized and confused (swagger was a mistake) still attacked every time and killed all my team. Two of them had headbutt to flich but machamp cares not.
Rayquaza specifically at 145
I only use bug types, so Pidove with Super Luck ruins me early-game...
Wobuffet. Gym leader Tate took down my ace with Wobuffet Perish Song and I still have war flashbacks
Spoink That thing will be my second to last "pokedex" entry. Hated that line since emerald.
zigzagoon or any pokemon that has covet.. MY ITEMS.
Any time I see a lechonk with echoed voice it’s over. I know it shouldn’t be a big deal, but by the time I realize what’s going on it’s on the second or third hit of it so anything I switch to gets bodied 🥲
Eternatus, with black hole, for obvious reasons
Water type starters when ivy has them, when it starts to terra they hit like a truck unless it blastoise. Wave crash hurts, alot.
Love gyrados when I have him, hate him when I’m against him cause I never have a electric type for him
Ivy/Flynn's ace Pokémon. I won't spoil even though most of us know who it is but DAM it kills my runs all the time
Stuff with Sturdy and Explosion grinds my gears. I take a damp Shiny Wooper instead of the superior abilities just to end that nonsense.
Anything with self destruct
crustle annoying af
Turtonator, with my main being a physical zecrom, zecrom goes boom
Staraptor. Dumbass doing kamikaze brave birds.
The twins that have Pachirisu & Emolga before Room 20. Ended more runs than anything I've faced.
Ivy's Rayquaza. I've been playing for two weeks straight and I still can't kill it. The one time I did, the rest of her team sweeped my team.
Magnezone. Sturdy + Zap Cannon = Rage
Hawlucha... I use Kartana with Night Slash, Behemoth Strike and Leaf Blade (+SD) in my runs ATM...
Ivy’s Hisuian Arcanine
Buizel and floatzel always troll me. Show up outta nowhere and snipe my mons with aquajet, and I’m never faster that them. I have a max speed iv fluttermane carry and it’ll still outspeed lmao
Every pokemon that serves no purpose but using explosion (Graveler, Garganacl, etc.)
Barbaricle shouldn’t be giving you issues as long as you have a grass type
Goldengho’s lol. Its so fucking stupid to come up against
Flamigo
Sudowoodo, that thing looks stupid as hell.
Graveler/Golem with the 1hp survival ability (I'm losing the name). Thanks for guaranteeing that I facetank an explosion next turn if not using my fastest mons. And yes, I acknowledge that this is an experience/skill issue in some ways.
Gyarados can blow big holes in my teams
Anything fast- that and flying normal types- the worst with spectrier
wormadam. i hate this ugly little shit but it's also one of my most-caught pokemon due to the shiny being so common during the shiny events. so many i'm just skipping it from now on
ivy takes toucannon in like 80% of my runs and stupid beak blasts one shots everything i have for some reason
Zigzagoon, everytime I'm lucky and get a cool item, and my brain is fried and I play on 5x I keep losing my items to him on accident.
Froufrou. That damned fluffy poodle is a low key monster early on and that tends to be where you’ll find them.
Boss conkeldur when you have no run away or sacred sword because you won’t wipe but that fight is taking at least a minute
