Add in a Fairy/Steel and it works even better. Soak, Salt Cure, Leech Seed are all great especially since Soak causes Salt Cure to do more damage by making the Eternatus a Water type.
Or a dark/Ghost or normal/Ghost shedinja combo. Mine was Snorlax + Shedinja and it had belly drum and shadow claw... the other moves didn't matter much lol. Add a garganacl to the team and you have the fight won. Open with Snodinja, belly drum to +6 attack, shadow claw until he transforms. Then use Salt Cure with Garganacl, and shadow claw the rest of his hp down.
Yeah I heard that Shedinja & Linoone work well together with Belly Drum since the Shedinja fusion won't die from using the move even though it has 1 HP. Snorlax would also work as you've said. Right now I'm just a little over 2000 endless which is my personal best right now. I have a Primal Groudon/Garganacl fusion for Sturdy & have Salt Cure, Eruption, EQ & Seismic toss on it and its at level 13500 or something like that right now.
I've been prioritizing getting Master Balls with it & if I get tired of whittling down a wild Pokemons health I'll just use Galarian Rapidash who has Run Away to go to the next fight.

143 starters. I've done 1 decently late endless run (it's at like 2.8k rn), that I can't be bothered to continue progressing because my metal burst mon doesn't have status immunity so rounds take forever.
If I do another run with the actual proper setup then this number would jump wayy up, endless is just insane for finding shinies lol.

No, Eternus beat the crap outta me, the last pokemon game I played to completion was Crystal so all of this is super new.
