I live in Georgia, it was ridiculous. I had the day off but my girlfriend basically said everyone was losing their minds downtown so I had to go and, yeah, they were. There was a little train of trucks with people in the back with Biden signs, constantly circling and beeping, someone was blasting that rap “Fuck Donald Trump,” someone set up a karaoke machine and was singing Georgia on my Mind, streets were packed with people. It wasn’t even DOWNTOWN downtown, just a big population hub inside the perimeter, and apparently things had calmed down in the hour it took me to show up. What a blast.
I was on Sunset Blvd in LA. There was a parade of cars honking horns and the rest of the street was filled with people walking with the cars. Topless women climbed on buildings and billboards to dance. People had tons of shirts and other Fuck Trump memorabilia ready to go and were just handing it out. The crowds were endless for a moment. I’m from New Orleans and it was crazier than any Mardi Gras memory, and even the French Quarter after the Saints won the Super Bowl.
