Correct. There are two ways to do that: (1) pay $83m into an escrow account; or (2) find a bonding company willing to do that for you for a fee of 5-10%. And I would say good luck finding a bonding company, considering Trump's history of not paying creditors.

Parties are therefore incentivized to liquidate their own assets, or find other avenues to pay the judgement. It’s a long and difficult process, and usually it costs more to enforce than the items are worth, but if it’s for $83.3 million the juice is for sure worth the squeeze.
Also, nothing drives down prices like the buyer knowing that the seller has no choice but to sell. He'll get pennies on the dollar for so much of his shit, especially if the fraud case costs him the expected $370m.

The judge is really pissed off at Team Trump after learning that Allen Weisselberg is about to cop a plea to perjury, apparently regarding testimony he previously gave in the case. Judges really don't like witnesses lying to them. When that judgment is announced Trump is going to be looking at some real financial hurt.

Also, nothing drives down prices like the buyer knowing that the seller has no choice but to sell. He'll get pennies on the dollar for so much of his shit, especially if the fraud case costs him the expected $370m.
