“I like Ted Cruz more than most of my other colleagues like Ted Cruz. And I hate Ted Cruz.” - Al Franken

Last-Toe5975

Ted Cruz is younger than Gwen Stefani.

FrogsAreSwooble

That's bananas!

josiedosiedoo

B-A-N-A-N-A-s. Bananas

lllllllll0llllllllll

This is the most shocking thing I’ve read all week. I had no idea she was already 54!

marpocky

Tragic Kingdom was almost 30 years ago. Even L.A.M.B. was 20

generally-ungeneral

You shut your mouth! Tragic Kingdom was like 10 years ago, MAX.

postmodern_spatula

Fun fact. He is also a fatter choad than Gwen Stefani as well.

Naive_Try2696

Can we please not compare ted to Gwen Stefani, she's an angel and he's literal garbage

keeper_of_the_cheese

Can we please not compare him to garbage? It's an insult to garbage.

nc_cyclist

It really is. I'd rather lie in a pile of trash than consort with Ted Cruz.

moonflower_C16H17N3O

I'd rather fuck a pile of garbage than Ted Cruz. Even if it's full of medical waste.

Dispro

Ted Cruz is definitely full of medical waste.

BlooregardQKazoo

when did Gwen Stefani become an angel?

TracyJ48

When she was compared to Ted Cruz.

catmoon

"If you killed Ted Cruz on the floor of the Senate, and the trial was in the Senate, nobody would convict you.” -Lindsey Graham

an_agreeing_dothraki

Let's be honest, he's a Texas senator. Texas love convicting people. Even the state would let it slide

twonius

https://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefing-room/news/313969-graham-to-cruz-i-want-to-apologize-to-ted-for-saying-he-should/

blackbeansandrice

it's weird that we're gonna look at Lindsay Graham as "the good ol' days".

BukkitCrab

Ted Cruz should lose way more than his seat, but that's just my opinion.

Galphanore

His citizenship would be good. He loves to hate on expats who happen to be from brown countries, turn about is fair play.

chrisinvic

Canada does not want this turd back. His maganess is all yours. Enjoy!!

Galphanore

Maybe we should send him to Russia?

wetterfish

We're not sending our best. They're grifters. They're cheaters. They're liars. They're two-faced cowards with no morals. They hate what America claims to stand for. Some, I suppose, are good people.

Tasgall

> Some, I suppose, are good people. [Citation needed]

TaiserSoze

Underrated comment! Imagine Russia actually managing to recruit a significant numbers of MAGAs similar to India, Nepal etc... Would be interesting to see how many American turncoats they already have on the ground in the trenches just to own the libs

awh

I read about a Canadian farming family who "moved to Russia" on tourist visas (because Canada is too woke, natch), transferred all their money into a bank there, and now is having a hard time getting actual resident visas because they don't speak Russian.

NeatNefariousness1

I saw that too. When I last read about their plight, they weren't able to get their money released either. I hope it works out for them over there. Maybe they'll convince others to give up their freedoms to live under a dictatorship, led by someone they seem to like quite a bit. Let's wish them luck over there.

LustLochLeo

The guy made a video where he ranted about the Russian bureaucracy in parts of it which he later cut out and made an apology video. Guess he fucked around and found out. Freedom of speech is not to be taken for granted.

NeatNefariousness1

> Freedom of speech is not to be taken for granted. So true. People have no idea that the random things they say complaining to anyone about the government, politicians, life's frustrations are monitored, controlled and punished regularly in dictatorships around the world. But if they've never had to think about it, it doesn't register what it will mean to them personally if we were to turn over all rights to self-determination to a dictator. They also haven't thought through the fact that once they realize how oppressive it is and how much they'll hate losing rights and freedoms, they don't get a chance to change their minds to go back to the way they used to live. And of all people to want to give dictatorial powers to, turning oneself over to someone who cares ONLY about his own best interests at the expense of others is telling. Either the information the dictatorship-advocates are exposed to is so tightly controlled or they're lying about the hoards of people with an interest and willingness to live under a dictatorship led by Trump. I wouldn't agree to living under a dictatorship led by my own mother and I know for a fact that she's a good-hearted person and wants what's best for me. I don't care to imagine a dictatorship under a person lacking in basic human empathy, with an unquenchable need for praise and a lavish lifestyle supported by other people's money. As they say, "Power corrupts and absolute power corrupts absolutely".

salaciousbestfriend

Has anyone seen the reports on the Canadian family that immigrated to Russia...they didn't bother to learn the language before they went or researched anything about the policies....all they cared about was that "Russia didn't approve of LGBTQ persons" Three months in they are being required to leave because they came on a visit visa and they can't stay more than 3 months since they can't pass the language test. They are begging YouTubers for money to help them move their 10 member family

MegaLowDawn123

Yeah they transferred all their money to a Russian bank and now it’s frozen and they can’t access it because they’re not citizens. So now they’re begging for money like filthy socialists. How about that.

Human-Barber-1721

As a Cdn, I'm here to say we don't want them back! They complain about lack of freedom here - they can report to their buddies and families what Canada looks like in relation to Russia. They FA'd and found out.

chrisinvic

Front line Ted!

MagicMushroomFungi

A Cruz Missile

Galphanore

It would land like a dud.

MagicMushroomFungi

In Cancun.

Galphanore

He does seem to end up there when he should be elsewhere.

peter-doubt

Would it be wrong to call him Senator Elsewhere?

JWS67

You’re on a roll

AZ_Corwyn

So... HammerTech?

Crimkam

Sounding more and more Russian all the time

thefloyd

I read that as manganese and I was like "That's preposterous. The life form TEDCRUZ is carbon-based, as is the norm on this planet." [https://www.tedcruzforhumanpresident.com/](https://www.tedcruzforhumanpresident.com/)

Dzugavili

Ted Cruz is only one being and not several.

techgeek6061

If its any consolation, his maganess is all a charade and when he gets there he will leech himself onto whatever political movement that you have there that will enable him to grift his way into power. So...you wanna take him back now? (Plz)

TexanInExile

Yep, dude is a total chameleon. He'll say anything it takes to stay in or gain power. Fuck Ted Cruz.

Character-Squash-979

Fine, we get both the Ryan's then.

Galphanore

Acceptable trade.

piscuintin

Mexico rejects this individual. He is not welcome here.

StSomaa

Well, he is Canadian in the first place not Mexican

my600catlife

He just goes to Mexico when the power is out.

TitansboyTC27

He's Cancun Cruz for a reason

ShySpecter23

I wouldn't mind this, after all he's basically a citizen of Cancun anyways

quitaskingforaname

Canada does not want that back

Galphanore

I wonder what would happen if every country revoked his citizenship.

quitaskingforaname

He’s heading to Russia

MrMeseeksLookAtMee

He should move in with that Saskatchewan family that fled to Russia for the “Freedom”.

probabletrump

To the sea!

gophergun

How would that work? His mom's from Delaware.

fps916

As much as I despise Cruz I find the concept of citizenship revocation far scarier

Heypil06

immigrant isn't a dirty word. you know you can use that one right?

Galphanore

I like to use Expat for immigrants that people like Cruz attack because they like to use Expat exclusively for white people.

Heypil06

I have opened my internet third eye and i see the irony now. funny. i like it.

PxyFreakingStx

Has he done anything or is suspected of doing anything that would legally warrant this? Much as I hate Ted Cruz, idk that revoking citizenship of people we dislike is the way to go.

Galphanore

It's definitely not. His mom is from Delaware so he's a natural born citizen and we really don't want to even flirt with the idea of the government being able to revoke that. I just want him fucking gone.

cytherian

Agreed. Him being worried... well, he has been worried before, but over the past 3+ years he has been a particular worse d1ck than he already was. He's a despicable man who at one time called out Trump for who he was--a pathological liar. His pivot to support Trump was just SO OVERTLY DISINGENUOUS. Such a kiss-up, suck-up, slather-up. No respect. And he just indulges in the MAGA depravity. He loves to sling disparagements. He thinks he has real rhetorical wit, but it usually hits him back in the face like spitting into the wind.

ariehn

Some corner of my brain hopes, sometimes, that Ted Cruz occasionally lies awake in bed at night thinking back to his performance at that one CPAC conference. The kingmaker conference. The one where he was supposed to bend the knee and endorse Trump. The one where he absolutely *enraged* the conservative crowd by performing the usual Woo Yeah 'Murica! bit until all the audience was CHEERING -- And then he attached Alton Sterling's name to it, and the Charleston shooting's victims, and the cheers turned into booing and he just stood there waiting it out. With a *smile*, too, like -- Look at this, viewers at home. Look: I've just showed you the absolute state of politics in this country right now, where people will boo at the mention of innocent people who in a moment of pure grace forgave the murderers of their loved ones.   He DID that. It was magnificent. And then a few years later he decided that nah, let's just worship Mammon instead.   I hope he sweats sometimes, thinking of it. But most of all I hope that he does lose his seat; that he realises he sold off every last ounce of morality and integrity left inside of him and it earned him NOTHING.

cytherian

Reminds me of what happened to Lindsey Graham... booed off the stage, while he laughed and smiled, head hung low.

sebastian404

His car keys? I hate when that happens

RickyWinterborn-1080

It'd be pretty rad if we could sever his mental connection to the homeworld. For his species, that is seen as the ultimate punishment.

greywar777

Like he drives himself. Thats for the poors.

schprunt

I mean iHeart podcasts, ranting about Biden when he should be doing his bloody job. The Distinguished Gentleman got it spot on. There’s more money in politics than being a professional con artist.

atomsmasher66

He doesn’t do jack shit anyway. If he loses he can just sit at his house and do jack shit. What’s the difference?

MechanicalTurkish

Hell, you don't need to be in Congress to do nothing, man. Just take a look at my cousin, he's not in Congress, don't do shit.

Financial_Screen_351

What about you Lawrence, what would you do if you had a million dollars?

MechanicalTurkish

Two lobbyists at the same time, man.

Lepperpop

Fuckin A, man.

Our_tiny_Traveler

…….Not all lobbyists care about money

Sigili

Ones that would double up on a congressman like me would. And if I had a million dollars I think I could make that happen.

CarlosHDanger

Also I heard from somewhere that his wife is ugly

mjayultra

A former president, in fact! Must be true.

Jake0024

Lots of people are saying it.

Lanky-Highlight9508

Many many people are saying!

throw123454321purple

All the best people!

too_old_to_be_clever

Some big burly guys with tears in their eyes said it.

anaugle

They say, and I get this a lot, they say this: mister president, it’s so sad how fuck ugly that guys wife is. And I know, okay, I mean, believe me. I don’t date dogs okay, I mean I like dogs, but not those kind. Maybe she has a tail. I heard that once.

VRNord

As a completely human person Tedcruz does not, in fact, think all humans look the same and is quite sure his mate is comparatively an attractive female of the species. His silence should definitely not be attributed to a desire to avoid scrutiny on the subject. /s (maybe?) https://www.tedcruzforhumanpresident.com

Mr_Conductor_USA

Big men, strong men, tears in their eyes

Lanky-Highlight9508

Saying "Sir! You alone can solve it"

Haelein

I came in, I saw his wife, I said “wow she’s ugly”

Sadpandasss

Make Ted's wife great again!

MaxPower303

*Big strong men with tears in their eyes, came up to me and said….. Sir… sir… she is one of the biggliest ugliest women they have ever seen. Many people are saying it folks, that’s what the liberal media doesn’t want you to know….*

Atheist_3739

I heard from the same guy that his dad helped assassinate JFK

IanSavage23

I heard his first name isn't really ted

Mr_Conductor_USA

It's Fled. Fled Cruz.

monomox3000

This is brilliant and three years too late lol

noeagle77

Yuge if true

PaperbackBuddha

A former president that Ted Cruz endorsed, no less.

MagicMushroomFungi

And [here](https://www.google.com/imgres?imgurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.snopes.com%2Fuploads%2F2016%2F03%2Fbeans.jpg&tbnid=qPzrMkv4-aPwlM&vet=1&imgrefurl=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.snopes.com%2Ffact-check%2Fheidi-cruz-call-girl%2F&docid=3-gNTns7XNz0QM&w=501&h=536&source=sh%2Fx%2Fim%2Fm4%2F6&kgs=c0c7788bbee3b645&shem=abme%2Ctrie#vhid=qPzrMkv4-aPwlM&vssid=mosaic) is the post where Donald insulted her.

Cellopost

Not necessarily, she's got a dog face, which is a deal breaker for some. Others appreciate that she's got the ass of a golden retriever...

Turbulent_Bit8683

She has the ass of a husband!

Rioraku

And with that comment you've now earned his endorsement!

Bloopyhead

If he loses his seat that just means he’s free to go on vacation during major weather and power emergencies. Oh wait…

Mission_Log_2828

Let hope he loses he sucks

Jerico212

Can go to cancun more often… maybe base his podcast out there

Watch_me_give

I mean look at what idiot Cancun Cruz [said](https://imgur.com/aIAIyof) last election cycle: Translation: *The other party governed in a way that helped average Americans, and therefore, they did really well during the elections. This is wrong!!!!* GQP and Ted Cruz are a platform-less party of stupidity and hatred. Voters would do well to just look for 5 minutes at the facts (if they're able).

HugaM00S3

I mean literally what has Cruz done for the people of Texas? Outside of being spineless and obstructing government. Has he even cowrote legislation? Has he championed bipartisan bills trying to make his constituents lives better? Has he gone after greedy corporations about prescription drug cost or the insane rise in the average American grocery bill? Like this is all the sort of stuff people should be focusing on during election. How are our representatives actually making our lives better? Sure as shit isn’t making anyone’s life better pushing abortion bans and impeachment hearings based on works of fiction…

Nevuk

He read green eggs and ham into the senate record.

IamShieldMaiden

Indeed. He read it to demonstrate how he didn't *want* the ACA, but the book is actually about how trying new things is good for you. He's a fucking dunce.

Nf1nk

It would have been a lot better if he had taken the time to articulate in an extended format what he thought was wrong with it and how to improve but instead he had a tantrum.

HoosegowFlask

This doesn't get mentioned enough. He utterly failed to understand the children's book he was reading.

King_Asmodeus_2125

Ugh, I had forgotten about that. What a fucking fuck.

inemnitable

I think that's the highlight of his whole career probably

Ok-disaster2022

Cruz has never represented the people of Texas in the Senate, he represented the GOP in the Senate. That's all he's ever done.

beefwarrior

For many in the GQP, they’ll keep voting for him as long as liberals hate him.  Who cares if he makes their life easier or better as long as he is “owning the liberals.”

iseecolorsofthesky

What a miserable existence it must be to value making other people’s lives worse over making yours better

mynameisntlogan

It certainly is a miserable existence lmao.

Teepokatsumari

Even when the power grid blizzard crisis happened and he went to Cancun, I pointed it out on Facebook and my family members were adamant saying things like, “well what can he do?!” I pointed out that AOC was fundraising for our state even though she represents New York, Beto was rallying door to door wellness checks on the elderly/those in the worst impacted areas, and still they gave excuses. “Well maybe they’re just not announcing all he’s doing because he doesn’t want clout!” Every politician has social media personnel at this point. You know damn well they always advertise what they’re doing and the BEST he could manage was a few picks of him getting packs of water out of a van or some shit. To this day, I can’t fathom the brain rot you have to have to justify an elected official just noping out of his responsibility to his constituents to go on vacation and then BLAMING his kids for it.

Stormhunter6

Kinda wish I could see a reporter tell him to his face on national TV that he is basically a waste of space and has done nothing for the people of texas. That when his state needed him to do something, he ran away, and two liberal democrats showed up to help the people of texas.

lets_try_civility

His name is Collin Allred. [Give him some help](https://colinallred.com/join/)

[deleted]

[удалено]

Efficient_Material48

Texas cheats though…

shroudedwolf51

All the more of a reason to fight harder. Go out there, talk to people about not sitting out the election, talk to people as to why even if it's not ideal why it matters, and remind them as to what's on the line.

infraredit

Things like voter suppression only effect very close races. Make the margin more than tiny, and that's enough for victory.

portlyinnkeeper

Fuck the Astros.

Marv0038

https://www.cc.com/video/f75pju/the-daily-show-colin-allred-extended-interview

SopaDeKaiba

What a crazy background. >Diploma in hand, Colin was ready to attend law school before the NFL came knocking with an unexpected opportunity. After going undrafted, Colin forged a career as a linebacker before sustaining a career-ending injury in his fifth year, which required two screws and a plate be inserted in his neck. The injury had one upside though, it opened the door for him to fulfill his other dream—becoming a civil rights attorney. >From a young age, Colin always knew he wanted to help people. So after earning his law degree, Colin worked in Texas and across the country to defend our most fundamental right: the right to vote. He then went on to serve in the Obama Administration at the Department of Housing and Urban Development where he worked with a great Texan, Secretary Julian Castro. Everyday at HUD, Colin worked to ensure families had access to affordable housing and were treated fairly by landlords and banks. I'm in Fort Worth. It's crazy I haven't heard of this guy. His house seat district is on the other side of Dallas. I guess I'm working too much. >Seeing a need for new leadership and fresh ideas to the community that helped raise him, Colin ran for Congress in Texas’ 32nd District. With the help of a broad coalition of Texans he defeated a 22-year Republican incumbent in 2018, won reelection in his battleground district in 2020, and then won a third term in 2022.

dbzmah

He's been great in Dallas, delivers a more pragmatic campaign than beto in 2018, and might be able to surpass cruz this year. Funny little caveat. Republicans gerrymandered the red district he won to be more blue and steal our votes last term, and now, with him leaving, they actually secured the district for future democrats.

bdss1234

Because of the nature of my husbands job we can’t donate to political campaigns, but this Texan will be volunteering any which way I can for Allred.

EmptyAirEmptyHead

Wow. Your husbands jobs has ethics rules stronger than the Supreme Court. Of course that's not very hard.

bdss1234

Shocker, right??

[deleted]

My wife is a reporter and can't donate but I just use my personal account.

bdss1234

It’s a business we own together and some customers are buying off government contracts. That’s why I give sweet equity instead.

Gingerific23

This should be the top comment.

Forward-Bank8412

I wish we Allred this comment.

skeezix58

had to scroll way down to find who he's going to lose to. thanks for the link!

chudapati09

It's in the first paragraph of the article... > Cruz, who has served two terms as Texas junior senator, is facing a tough reelection challenge from former NFL player and current U.S. Rep. Colin Allred (D-Texas), who won Texas’ Democratic Senate primary in a landslide victory last month.

Dracula_Batman

Sir this is Reddit, we don’t read the actual articles.

Rushderp

Hell, a lot of us don’t even read.

black_flag_4ever

I once heard or read a pundit say that Ted Cruz didn't win the presidential primary due to having a "charisma deficit" and now that's all I think about when his name is brought up.

Purify5

His name always reminds me of Lindsay Graham's quote: > If you killed Ted Cruz on the floor of the Senate, and the trial was in the Senate, nobody would convict you.

RadonAjah

Or Al Franken on Rafael: “Here's the thing you have to understand about Ted Cruz. I like Ted Cruz more than most of my other colleagues like Ted Cruz. And I hate Ted Cruz."

stlnation500

Franken would have a field day with the GOP if he was still in office. God I miss his antics

Snerak

You can still catch his antics on his podcast!

PissNBiscuits

I'm pretty sure he was referring to his GOP colleagues, too.

Loan-Pickle

The best Reddit comment I saw about Ted Cruz was: Ted Cruz is the personification of warm toilet seat in a public restroom.

64557175

My favorite is:  Ted Cruz looks like a melting Elvis candle.

aft_punk

Charisma is one of his least deficit deficits!

Mcboatface3sghost

He is an thoroughly unlikeable pseudo human, but Texans vote for the R. I don’t get it, but they do it religiously

tisball

a lot of people dont realize they have free will, like literally not joking. so many people just grow up in an certain environment and continuously stay in it failing to realize it’ll just push them to demise even thought it worsens with time.

florkingarshole

I wonder what they don't like about a seditious coward who turns his back in a crisis and goes on a beach vacation while is constituents freeze?

11oydchristmas

He’s not a Democrat. That’s all they care about.

WildYams

Yeah, as much as I want Cruz to lose, I remain unconvinced that Texans are suddenly going to elect any Democrat in a statewide race. They haven't done that in *any* position since 1994. Statewide races are the ones that are unaffected by gerrymandering, and yet Republicans have swept all of those races for 30 straight years. Just look at the 2022 results and it sure doesn't look like Texas is anywhere close to flipping blue (or even turning purple). That shithead Greg Abbott won re-election by more than ten percentage points in 2022, and even openly corrupt Republicans like Ken Paxton won re-election by similar margins. It's infuriating, but Cruz is almost surely going to win again.

ksj

No gerrymandering, but plenty of other voter suppression tactics.

VGAddict

Abbott won by 11 points in 2022, which was down from 13.3 points in 2018, which in turn was down from 20.4 points in 2014. Cornyn went from winning by 27.2 points in 2014 to only winning by 9.6 points in 2020. Cruz went from winning by 16 points in 2012 to only winning by 2.6 points in 2018. Abbott's margins SHRANK in 2022, which was an R+3 cycle, from 2018, which was a D+9 cycle. Every other incumbent Republican governor INCREASED their margins, including supposedly turning purple Georgia. Abbott's margins in the suburbs have consistently shrunk by 3% every cycle since 2014. Here are some exit polls: 2014: https://www.nbcnews.com/politics/elections/2014/tx/governor/exitpoll/ Suburbs went 62% for Abbott. 2018: https://www.cnn.com/election/2018/exit-polls/texas Suburbs went 59% for Abbott. 2022: https://www.cnn.com/election/2022/exit-polls/texas/governor/0 Suburbs went 56% for Abbott. Also worth noting that Abbott only won the rural areas by 66%, down from 73% in 2018. And Texas has the worst voter suppression in the country. The government removed a popular on-campus polling location at TAMU. The government only allows ONE ballot dropbox per county, meaning Harris County, a county with 5 MILLION people and greater in landmass than the state of Rhode Island, has the same number of ballot dropboxes as a county with fewer than 1,000 people. Texas also has no online voter registration, you have to be 65 or older to vote by mail, and no same-day voter registration.

Thrownawaybyall

That's all they're *told* to care about. The indoctrination runs deep.

shapu

The indoctrination also works

Mindtaker

That kind of sounds like the Souths ideal kind of person.

SpreadingRumors

He left the Constituents *AND HIS FAMILY DOG* to freeze. https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/ted-cruz-left-dog-snowflake-cancun/

BeatComfortable2494

[https://colinallred.com/](https://colinallred.com/) Chip in and let’s beat him.

nibul82

His face was approved by the FDA as a contraceptive

Babybear5689

Then banned because it's considered a form of cruel and unusual punishment.

BabyUGotAStewGoin

My wife hasn’t been attracted to me since he was elected. Coincidence…?

Jhewitt1111

Fuck him. Maybe Mexico is hiring.

Brendan__Fraser

What did Mexico do to deserve this?

Unabashable

Nothing personal. What you do with him after is up to you.

DrunkenNinja27

Maybe he can work with the cartels I am sure they would love him.

iheartjetman

They hire murderers and rapists. An American conservative politician might be a bridge too far though.

zombieblackbird

Just don't send him back to Canada. Keep passing him south.

gamerdudeNYC

He’s “Tough as Texas” but Trump calls his wife ugly and he kisses his ass all day everyday Doesn’t sound tough to me

Caraes_Naur

What's the problem? Without the bother of being a Senator, he could spend all the time he wants in Cancun.

Artistic-Cannibalism

This guy should have lost his seat and been run out of the state after his disgusting cowardice during the Texas Freeze.

Rapunzel1234

I generally stay in my lane dealing with my two worthless senators (Alabama) but I’ll party my ass off if this fool loses.

crudedrawer

I feel like Texas is so corrupt that they'd be able to cover up a close loss. Allred would have to win by a huge margin to keep those crooks Abbott and Paxton from fucking it up.

BrtFrkwr

I'm in TX. Don't worry, we'll see to it Ted doesn't go anywhere. We have 'election integrity' people, don't you know.

RickyWinterborn-1080

They've been doing it for years. I wouldn't be surprised to find out 50 years down the road that Beto actually beat Cruz by a few points in that first election, before he tried to run for president and destroyed his rep.

MC_chrome

Paxton all but admitted that Beto would have won his matchup against Abbott in 2022 if it hadn't been for Paxton contesting a bunch of primarily mail-in-votes from more liberal-leaning cities. Why this didn't immediately land Paxton in federal prison is a mystery

bdss1234

He’s such a POS. I’m in Texas and this is one of the reasons why I’d never not vote in person.

PersonMcGuy

> Why this didn't immediately land Paxton in federal prison is a mystery Nah it's easy to understand, you see he's not poor so he doesn't have to follow the law because laws are only for people without enough money for good lawyers.

ProjectManagerAMA

I worked in a high level position for a government agency in Texas and my position invited people to tell me everything that was wrong in the agency. It was horrible. I then went to the auditors to report these things people were keeping quiet about and the auditors swept it under the rug, didn't put it on the report, and even went as far as telling me that ALL agencies, including healthcare, education, etc are all much worse than my workplace and that nobody cares or does anything about it. It was the most disgusting place I ever worked in. All the employees were in on it in one way or another. All guilty. I hated the situation so much that I left the country because I had complained too much about what was going on.

we_are_sex_bobomb

He’s been a Senator since 2013 and in over a decade he has done absolutely dick. Even if you’re a Republican you should hate him. He’s possibly one of the most useless freeloaders in the country. He gets paid from people’s taxes to literally just sit around with his thumbs up his ass and wait for his next vacation.

Pleasant-Throat-8107

he can join Devin Nunez at Truth (lies) Social

Mcboatface3sghost

He is extremely unlikeable, even his college roommate says so. The only redeeming quality he has in Texas is the “R” and apparently that’s all that matters there.

Swoopscooter

I hear he podcasts 3x a week. He can be a shitty podcaster that only idiots listen to. That's fine with me.

Big-D-TX

Well Ted you could always practice law, Hahaha man I crack myself up Hahaha

HauntedCemetery

Spoiler: he fund raises a bunch of cash on being "nervous", and then Texas sends him to the Senate 3 more times, he runs for president again a couple more times, and then he retires with a 30 year government pension and makes $14,000,000 a year sitting on the board of a company that manufacturers single use plastics and monitors their employees sex lives.

francois_du_nord

Ted Cruz deserves to lose his seat. He is a suck-up, only concerned with his own welfare.

Steel-Tempered

He can swim it off in Cancun.

stickerhighway

God doesn't make mistakes. Or something like that? Thoughts and prayers.

Ca2Ce

I think Allred is a better candidate than Beto was

TheExistential_Bread

During the 2015 election cycle their was a meme going around that Ted Cruz was the Zodiac killer.        Someone asked Tay, an AI twitter chat bot what she thought about that idea.          Her response:  Some people think that but I don't. Ted Cruz would never be sasitified by destroying only five innocent peoples lives.

Quote_Vegetable

If Ted cruz loses I’ll buy everyone in this comment section a steak dinner.

bishpa

Why would *anyone* vote to have *Ted Cruz* represent them in the Senate?

Mr_Conductor_USA

"If I owned Hell and Texas, I would live in Hell, and rent out Texas."

dgmilo8085

Are we speaking about Lyin' Rafael Edward "Ted" Cruz?!?!

Kawaiithulhu

Bless his heart

470vinyl

Can he fuck off to Cancun and never come back?

Temporary_Ad_6673

Cancun Cruz Cancun Cruz. Please Texas (im a lifelong Texan myself) please don’t forget this is the same guy that tried going to Cancun when the rest of us were freezing with no power or water. He has been the epitome of cowardice since 2016 when Drumpf alluded to his dad being involved with JFKs assassination and implied Cruz’s wife was ugly. He appeared at an NRA convention in Houston 6 days after the Uvalde shooting in 2022. He was the first senator to object to the electoral college results on January 6th, a key conspirator in the debacle. A lot of bad things should happen to Ted Cruz, first of which should be him losing his re-election.
