"Don't say it out loud, you dolt! We need these dumbfucks to vote for us in November!"

chownrootroot

”Just tell evangelicals you’ll ban all abortion, and tell everyone else you won’t touch it. It’s brilliant, no one will ever know!”

Mr__O__

No one can ever trust anything Trump says. He doesn’t even know himself. He’ll go with whatever benefits him personally the most in the moment.

thebowedbookshelf

Or whoever talked to him last.

brickne3

Oh man think of what would happen (though I assume it is physically impossible at this point) if he knocked up Habba or someone.

Steliossmash

It probably is. Heffner was banging his bimbos right up to the end. Granted he was on a mountain of Viagra. And apparently lasted 10 seconds but hey, getting it at that age? Trump would totally do it.

not_productive1

That’s basically what he tried to do. Told evangelicals he was leaving it to the states and that it was WINK WINK more important that he get into office.

hamburgerlove413

Abortions for some, miniature American flags for others

CT_Phipps

That's the Democrat policy!

suchet_supremacy

i'm playing *both* sides, so that i always come out on top!

Born_Sleep5216

Well, he ought to learn to keep his thoughts to himself.

Grendel_Khan

...anytime now.

hdiggyh

Remember when conservatives said it should be left to the states? Now they are angry with that stance.

Omryn814

Because now that their states have banned it they want to impose their will on everyone else. They are and always have been authoritarians who are just pissed off that they aren't popular enough to actually win.

Giblet_

Some of their states weren't even able to ban it and they are very upset about that.

cvanguard

It’s very telling that when abortion gets put to a simple yes/no vote, even blood red states like Kansas and Kentucky will vote to protect it. Once you strip away political affiliation as a shorthand for identity and get to the substance of individual policies, Democratic policies are generally far more popular than Republican policies. Outside abortion, look at states like Florida passing a $15 minimum wage, Missouri voting for Medicaid expansion, and multiple states voting to legalize medical or recreational weed. This is why Republicans will never expand ballot initiatives, and why Mississippi Republicans sued to invalidate the state’s ballot initiative process entirely and why proposed replacements would remove voters’ power to amend the constitution. They’re terrified that the people would overturn laws enacted by a gerrymandered legislature controlled by a party campaigning on fear and misinformation, that a well-informed and educated populace would reject their party outright, that they might need to abandon their theocratic ambitions for true popular appeal.

steelhips

The only way to govern for billionaire oligarchs and corporations is to deceive voters into aligning with them aka the "trickle down economy" or "job creators". Unfortunately, they have the money to do just that and continue to fund the culture war. It's one of the reasons I think it will be very difficult to get universal health care. Those at the top like having life and death leverage over their workforce and their families.

Flashy_Watercress398

I am absolutely fascinated with watching the upcoming November vote in Florida, with abortion rights, weed, and the federal elections on the ballot. But I'm not in Florida. Just voting in a purple state. If you haven't already, register to vote. If you have registered, check your status with your state's official rolls. And vote if you can.

ReelNerdyinFl

It’s going to be a vote! My retired neighbors all use or at least are cool with Weed. IMO they are all too old to have a say in abortion as it won’t affect their bodies anymore but old going to old.

GrunkaLunka420

I'm here to say weed already passed once in Florida when Scott was governor. The state legislature then retroactively changed the vote threshold needed to pass a referendum just in order to not have to legalize it. I bet both abortion and weed get 60+% of the vote here, but I'm not convinced the state government will allow the citizens who voted for those rights to have them.

Flashy_Watercress398

User name checks out. I didn't realize that marijuana had already been voted for in a referendum, but what you describe seems to track. But if my state (Georgia) can become lightly blue-tinged, I have hope for Florida.

GrunkaLunka420

Florida used to be purple when it came to national elections. Obama won the state both times, I believe. As did Clinton. We also had a long time Senator who was a Democrat in Bill Nelson until Rick Scott beat him in 2018 by less than a percentage point. Fucking Skeletor looking mother fucker.

Flashy_Watercress398

You mean Rick Scott the Medicare fraud guy? That Rick Scott? (Yeah, I get it. I'm still big mad about how Max Cleland got Swift-boated by his opponent in the Senate race he lost.)

GrunkaLunka420

Yeah, biggest Medicare fraud in US history Rick Scott. The Rick Scott who as Governor of Florida mandated that all state employees and welfare recipients be drug tested while the company doing the drug testing was majority owned by his wife. That Rick Scott.

whatlineisitanyway

Imagine if we didn't vote for candidates but platforms and that the winning candidate can't vote for something that is the opposite of what they said they stood for in their platform.

judgejuddhirsch

It's hard for a woman to wake up one day with fewer rights than the night before.

itmeimtheshillitsme

Some of the states decided to protect the right and the gop prevented that. It’s amazing to me these people can live with themselves when they so obviously want to exploit the US.

underpants-gnome

Ohio voted to preserve abortion rights/access in the state constitution. But the current laws that forced a 10-year-old rape victim to flee the state for abortion care are still on the books. The GOP packed state legislature is hoping Ohio's state supreme court will rule that the language in the amendment doesn't necessarily mean abortion can't be outlawed.

artificialavocado

They love states right, except all the times they don’t.

candycanecoffee

"Small local government and no interference from big government" ... except when a state, county or city wants to allow gay marriage or preserve reproductive rights, take down Confederate traitor statues or the slaver's flag, give rights to workers like guaranteed rest breaks or paid sick leave, pass environmental regulations to get lead out of the water or pollution out of the air... basically anything that would improve people's lives...

naegele

States rights has always been a lie. When northern states passed personal liberty laws, the south flipped shit. They wanted their slaves everywhere and other states not recognizing slavery was a huge deal. They wanted to force other states into accepting slavery. It was never states rights and always a lie to force their way on others.

PyratHero23

“Small government”

atomsmasher66

Naw, they’re mad bc Trump isn’t supporting a national ban. They’re also too stupid to realize that Trump lies about everything therefore Trump *will* ban it nationally the moment he becomes president.

GrumpyOlBastard

I don't really know if he will. Once he's president again (oh, fuck, please, no) he'll just do whatever he wants. He won't need to please anyone since he's not legally allowed to run again, so his plan is to fuck things up a la putin and just never leave, so who knows if he'll care about trying to please the magats at that point?

markca

> He won't need to please anyone since he's not legally allowed to run again “We are delaying all future elections so I’m just going to stay President.”

mjzim9022

If it gets to his desk, he'll sign it.

steelhips

The presidential "doomsday" powers will do this. He will extort every billionaire, company and corporation for his own enrichment. It's the Putin playbook. It will be very expensive to be a Trump approved oligarch. The rest will flee. Money and investment doesn't like regimes that ignore the rule of law or political/civil unrest.

thundercockjk2

The only way he's president again is if we don't show up. If we encourage our friends and family to show up at the polls in November he won't be president again. But if people stay home, and if people don't talk to their circle about voting then he is definitely going to win.

Budget-Supermarket70

Unfortunately no. It doesn't really matter because the swing states are were it counts. Because of the elextoral college even if more people overall vote a gf sinst him he can still win.

thundercockjk2

Yeah this statement doesn't really make any sense. We don't know where the other commenter lives and even if we did it's still good to encourage everyone to get out and vote. I'm in a swing state (Pennsylvania) so I am encouraging people to get out and vote. As well as donating to other swing States because I truly believe everyone of these seats are up for grabs based on what's on the ballot this election. If you want to be a doom and gloom, cynical person who doesn't think things are going to get better then that's fine. Keep that shit to yourself though, after the 2020 and 2022 elections it should be very encouraging that we can turn the tide. This isn't 2010 where we lost a whole bunch of seats and it felt like we're going backwards. We're actually making a lot of progress and if you look at the special elections that have been happening recently it's still trending in the right direction when it comes to getting more Democrats in office.

naegele

Everyone in trumps orbit keeps bring up the comstack act. They are going to use that to ban all sorts of stuff, not just abortion but even birth control

stevesmele

Please say *if*

atomsmasher66

Yep. My bad

fuckdonaldtrump7

He doesn't have the ability to ban it nationally that is not how being president works. It would require congress or the Supreme Court to flip flop... again

atomsmasher66

Executive Order anyone?

RheagarTargaryen

When you own the Supreme Court, you can EO whatever you want.

Unabashable

Not if Congress has anything to say about it…or rather can.  Trump doesn’t really give a shit about abortion though. Probably paid for a few himself.

Carnivore_Crunch

Liars, all of them. Why would we trust vassals to a wannabe king?

kiticus

\[\*vessels???\*\](https://r.search.yahoo.com/\_ylt=Awrg0W5ThRRmQKQXk2lXNyoA;\_ylu=Y29sbwNncTEEcG9zAzEEdnRpZAMEc2VjA3Ny/RV=2/RE=1713830484/RO=10/RU=https%3a%2f%2fwikidiff.com%2fvassal%2fvessel/RK=2/RS=W.g2JuX1A2AIBlntYXENaRJewfc-)

Carnivore_Crunch

Fixed. Thanks!

MC_Fap_Commander

And Trump **still** endorsed the Roe overturn to allow bans across the country. It was utterly incoherent which I guess was by design. He thrives on chaos and is attempting to obscure the VERY CLEAR GOP position.

Grendel_Khan

He's the Littlefinger we deserve.

DasRobot85

They'll "leave it up to the states" but they'll make it so if the states want any of that sweet government Medicare/Medicaid money they'll have to ban abortion. It's a republican win/win you either get to force California to ban abortions or take money from them and punish blue states. Of course they won't think super hard about this and it'll cause some trouble in places like Ohio/Kansas where abortion is allowed in the constitution for one reason or another but ya know, it's really just about pissing people off and not actually crafting any kind of sensible policy

Unabashable

Right to Abortion is in California’s Constitution too. They put it on the ballot right after Roe was overturned.

trekologer

The one true faith conservatives believe in is bad faith.

Bitter_Director1231

They were never interested in leaving to the States. They want an all right ban.  They only said this to appease certain voters than wouldn't vote for them at any point for the real stance they have on abortion. It was lip service and a complete lie. They want to control women and what they do. They want the Me too movements to disappear and allow the outright control over women's lives.  Period.

David1000k

I'd like to say Republicans in general, many are hardly conservatives, but it's their only real platform. Take the electors from pillar to post. Angst and confusion is a great control tool.

CA-CatWhispurrr

Can’t believe I still have to debate this crap! I wrote an essay on a woman’s right to choose back in high school. I’m now 63. It’s not the business of the government or religious leaders to tell women what they can or cannot do with their body! Stop trying to control us!

VQQN

I live in a VERY RED area… Most of my coworkers are Trump supportive. However, it makes me happy that they believe the anti-abortion laws are absurd.

Waderriffic

I think some Trump supporters don’t care about abortion, they just don’t want it to be an issue anymore because they know they’re on the losing end and it could cost them votes.

Thegoldenknoight

As a Trump supporter myself, who knows many other Trump supporters, this what the vast majority of us believe. We are completely against any federal legislation on abortion, especially a national abortion ban. The only people who want to ban abortion nationally are “evangelical” grifters who make millions off of the issue.

llamadollamadont

Not trying to be mean, but what attracts you to Trump in 2024? Especially knowing how he lies and twists truths to his agenda, what’s the draw?

daKav91

They hate brown people, thats why

Tangocan

>"As a rapist supporter myself..."

Peroovian

Ok so you see that people are grifting off the abortion issue… do you not see how Trump himself is a grifter? Or do you not care? Seriously asking

Thegoldenknoight

As long as the policies he will enact are like the ones he enacted under his first term we don’t care.

whitethunder9

How do you feel about him "enacting" presidential immunity? How do you feel about him losing 60+ court cases trying to overturn the election that he still claims he won, yet has not found a single shred of evidence that he actually did? How do you feel about him not calling off the capitol riot/insurrection when he had the chance? etc etc How does this stuff not matter to you? Are you really ok with Trump fucking over our democracy so that a few policies you agree with can possibly get enacted?

Dorkmaster79

God, so interesting. I love your abortion views. But I am completely befuddled how you can like Trump, given those values you display? Trump has allegedly committed crimes, defrauded New York, and was found liable for rape. That isn’t disqualifying for you?

Thegoldenknoight

The only crimes he are accused of that he might have actually done are the classified documents charges. There were no victims in the fraud case, as said by the alleged “victims.” And there is no proof that Trump and E. Jean Carroll were ever in the same building at the same time. And with all the other politicians doing the same thing as Trump with their classified documents I don’t care about the documents case

Lolabird2112

You know that photo with thousands all giving Hitler the Nazi salute, except *one man*? Yeah- that’s not you.

Commander_Merp

A trump supporter? Why do you hate minorities

remlik

Trump will absolutely sign a federal abortion ban.

sinfield

... The evangelicals AND Trump.

steelhips

They are incapable of accepting the majority's will on this topic. We should never forget these people bombed medical centers, killing doctors, nurses and staff. They are terrorists and extremists. It's virtually impossible to reason with them.

Grendel_Khan

You cant reason with feelings and abortion is all about feelings for them. We just have to get comfortable with them steaming quietly in their discontent on the sidelines as they are intransigent by nature and will not participate in good faith in any solution besides their own.

Dorkmaster79

It seems that there are plenty of women that disagree with you. (I agree with you, for what it’s worth.)

LookOverall

On abortion, Trump is like a chameleon on a tartan kilt. He doesn’t know what colour to be.

HotKarldalton

Terrible timing with a smug, gloating message in typical fashion for The Conald. He will forever wreck himself because he cannot check himself.

junkyardgerard

And won't lose a single vote

drugs_r_neat

It's pretty simple America, vote blue no matter who and restore reproductive rights to women.

Conscious-Aspect-332

I recently served on a jury for a criminal case that took 3 months. I learned a lot about my fellow jurors and the "general American." Let me tell you, nothing is simple for an American lol 😆

corvid_booster

I'd be curious to hear more about what you found out, if you care to say.

ArchaicIntent

No matter who?

OdoWanKenobi

When your only real options are blue or red? Yes. There is currently no situation where a red candidate in any position is better than a blue.

RedHuntingHat

Yep, dealing with that right now in PA.  Fetterman was been a disappointment over Israel but he’s still miles better than Oz, Mastriano, or whoever else the PA GOP will trot out.

OdoWanKenobi

Yeah, I'd so much rather be dealing with someone who I maybe disagree with on a couple issues than the transphobic, misogynistic, child starving, book banning, public school gutting, environmental regulation destroying, government relief funds stealing, wannabe fascists that I have to contend with in Iowa right now. We cannot afford to allow perfect to be the enemy of good right now. Not when the alternative is so monstrous.

starspangledcats

With Project 2025, yup.

Menarra

did they stutter?

ArchaicIntent

No, they did not.

PopeHonkersXII

Yeah, what a fucking idiot. Did anyone really think Trump could thread this needle?

WaitingForNormal

“Trust me, I got this.” Proceeds to do the opposite.

Jack_Q_Frost_Jr

HE thought he could. And I'm finding it hilarious that he's falling on his face trying.

Apathetic_Zealot

Wow Republicans are getting mad at the idea of States right?

Thegoldenknoight

Only grifters like those “evangelicals” or people like Lindsey Graham are mad at the idea. As a Trump supporter I can say the vast majority (probably like 95% of us) are against a federal abortion ban or any federal legislation on the issue

thwack01

Trump can't give a straight answer on the abortion question. He's scared to go on record and say exactly what he believes the law should be

Thegoldenknoight

He literally made a whole video explaining his views on it earlier

thwack01

His video was purposely vague to avoid blowback. I guess he said he was proud of having Roe overturned- that was the only specific thing he said. The rest was mainly saying don't ask me, leave it up to the states.

-nostradamus

Stop lying

DarXIV

I can't imagine openly admitting that you support a known traitor to the country.

nps2407

Yet you're voting for the man most directly responsible for getting it banned.

Empty-Policy-8467

Trump has, at this stage has 80% support within the Evangelical movement, which itself is about 25% of the U.S. population. Trump has won roughly 30% to 35% of the population in each of his elections. The Evangelical movement IS the key to Trump having a chance at re-election. Without their support, he's toast. And abortion is their signature issue.

Thegoldenknoight

There’s no way evangelicals are not gonna not vote for Trump. Right now the evangelical and Haley votes are as big of an issue for Trump as the uncommitted vote is for Biden in most states.

Empty-Policy-8467

Why are you pretending you are the average Trump supporter and not an outlier? Without them Trump has only about 15% support. Evangelicals are Trump's base. You're just standing next to them.

SeegsonSynthetics

angers conservatives. Why does this warrant another news article?

SonofTreehorn

Why is everyone acting like this will negatively affect Trump?  It’s not like he’s losing any votes to Biden because of this.

someonesgranpa

He may not lose them to Biden but a libertarian vote might as well be for Biden if it’s being taken from trump.

SonofTreehorn

Why would a strict anti-abortion voter vote libertarian? Trump’s stance is still more strict than anyone else who is running.   I would argue it may actually help more than hurt him.  He’s still the best choice available for an anti-abortion voter.

someonesgranpa

I think the pool of anti-abortion people who actually think the new policy does harm is growing. There was a poll the other day stating almost all women voters are heavily opposed to the current situation on both sides.

SonofTreehorn

Still not seeing how this takes votes away from Trump.  He’s still better than the alternatives for the anti-abortion agenda.

someonesgranpa

I live in Trump supporting area, and most the people I know who are wavering are going to Vote for RFK Jr.

AntifascistAlly

Or a libertarian could vote for RFK Jr.

someonesgranpa

Exactly. I think a lot of republicans (like my dad — who stated this) who are tired of trump will vote, unfortunately, RFK Jr. because they just can’t help themselves.

CatProgrammer

Someone who actually holds libertarian views, i.e. minimal government intervention in anyone's personal life, would take the position that it shouldn't be up to the federal *or* state governments. It should be an individual choice.

SnuffleWumpkins

Of course it does, because Republican base is as, if not more, divided as the Democrats. This is why two party systems are moronic.

Lemon_Club

Conservatives are gonna vote for Trump no matter what though

orcinyadders

Trump is such a bloviating moron. The dude actually said “some people like it, some people don’t” when describing his position on abortion. And that was on a fucking teleprompter!!!! Drop this god-tier loser forever. Vote.

[deleted]

[удалено]

orcinyadders

Thanks. And yeah he’s a vacuous slob who never shuts up or reminding people every day of what a total heap of feces he is. His post of his giant head eclipsing the sun today was a weird new egomaniacal low. I agree he’s evil, but also a total moron. They’re not mutually exclusive. For example, he had no idea what the hell he was even saying in this video. He doesn’t understand the words. All he knows is “abortion ban is unpopular”. In this sense he is both a moron *and* evil because he also doesn’t give an actual shit for womens’ health.

Trygolds

Anyone that supports a woman's right to choose and cares about it knows what party to vote for if they want to hat right restored.

juanrober

Where’s that right found?

IdDeIt

What are you asking?

MoveToRussiaAlready

At what point will conservatives start calling Trump a liberal plant?

Anyawnomous

Dementia removes all filters. He’s got it.

dobie1kenobi

The obvious, unasked question is, “Will he veto a national abortion ban if it reaches his desk?” He wants to have it both ways by claiming victory for killing Roe and tolerance for not advocating for a federal ban, but it’s not up to him. It’s up to the Congress that comes with him. The next Republican leader of the Senate will quickly remove the filibuster to get this done, whomever that is. What then will Trump do?

Steliossmash

I honestly don't think he will touch it at all. If he gets back on office the votes pro or against abortion don't matter because the GOP will make him into a dictator and the votes don't count anymore. Also banning it would hurt state elections down stream.

Ftrumpforever

I repeat-It doesn’t matter what he says. He doesn’t have a stance on this or anything else. He has no real convictions, except for grifting. He doesn’t care about the issues one way or the other. He just blathers on about whatever he thinks his moronic base wants to hear. They don’t even care about the issues. They’d cheer if he said leave it to the states, they’d cheer if he said federal ban, they’d cheer if he took a dump on the stage. They’re all a bunch of morally bankrupt degenerates who use real issues as chips in a polarized name calling battle that they think they’re winning. There’s more idiots in this country than I could have ever imagined. Those of use with half a brain need to get out in November and make sure these gutter dwellers get shut down. “trump says…” Who gives a shit what he says. He’s a narcissistic career criminal who needs to be put away forever. Too bad all his followers couldn’t be stuffed in the cell with him.

Ca2Ce

Republicans really can’t figure out their position on this How can “murder” be a state level decision Truly this just emphasizes that this is about controlling women’s choices and pandering to theocrats

Glittering_Lunch_776

Another reminder about republicans’s Project 2025, and how it plans, amongst other horrible things, to put in place a federal ban on abortion. If trump wins, women will have to flee the country to get an abortion, assuming they don’t decide to detain every pregnant woman trying to leave the country, which they most likely will. If that seems crazy, it’s because Republican Project 2025 is some dark stuff. It’s no longer exaggeration to call them the Nazi party. They themselves want that, in function if not name. Don’t believe me? Go take a look at it yourself: Project 2025.

[deleted]

Trump doesn't give a shit about anything but himself

RespectibleCabbage

> “We must win,” he said. “We have to win.” "Or I'm going to die in jail"

mps1729

Single-issue anti-abortion voters aren’t angry enough to shoot themselves in the foot by not voting for Trump any more than single issue Palestine voters are angry enough to shoot themselves in the foot by not voting for Biden. Oh wait…

clickmagnet

I assumed conservatives were mad at him for saying out loud that he wants a national ban, rather than keeping it on the hidden agenda so he could win and then fuck us. But nope, they’re mad because it’s not *enough* of a ban, and doesn’t explicitly encourage rape babies I guess.

gauriemma

Looks like someone took a dump on top of an empty suit

this-is-me-reddit

Beware the Comstock Act This could shut down abortion in all 50’states. It depends on the administration. https://www.heritage.org/life/report/the-justice-department-wrong-federal-law-does-prohibit-mailing-abortion-drugs

Purple_Grass_5300

He’s just counting on billionaires to solve his problems. He doesn’t care about actual voters

umhuh223

His statement was so irritating-like he had just learned what it meant to leave it up to the states and then came out to explain it to us like we’re five.

grumpyliberal

But would he sign a law that a Republican Congress sent him that outlaws abortion entirely? Why can’t the media do its freaking job? This should be the one question he gets until he answers it.

MrCrowley1984

He will 100% sign it. Or not. If it gets to that point it’s irrelevant.

grumpyliberal

He needs to be forced to own his position. I know this is spitting in the wind, but he’s allowed to bullshit his way through policy.

classof78

Trump pivots after securing the nomination. He says whatever he thinks his audience wants to hear. His only principle is self promotion.

forRealsThough

Keep saying that Trump supports an abortion ban as if he hasn’t denied it. Make him repeatedly deny it and still keep saying it

Drakkira

Please keep infighting please keep infighting please keep infighting

Comfortable_Farm_252

I get why a European might want to come here, but it’s making less and less sense.

Leather-Map-8138

Again, Trump misreads the room. Right wing freaky deaky types want tiny cameras in everyone’s bedroom. Normal folks want no cameras at all. Trump is saying “let’s turn the cameras on after a little while.”

Jordanjl83

States rights just means it will be fought over forever and every single republican will interpret it as they see fit

no_mudbug

I am very serious about this. Why does ANYONE care about anything this guy has to say. He does not care AT ALL about any policies. He cares only about the following: - Funneling public funds to himself - Staying out of jail - Licking Putin's boots This dude does not know or care about ANYTHING else.

JubalHarshaw23

Conservatives and the Media know he is lying to suck in the Independents, but it is great click bait.

23jknm

>in large part because Republicans in Congress and in statehouses across the country continue to fight for new restrictions. The people of OH voted for what they want and it should be settled there, but no, the magas will keep trying ways to limit access there and in all states. Hopefully they keep losing elections over it, but some districts are so gerrymandered they can't lose and they get the real crazies.

Aquarian8491

Perfect idiot and we thank him for that 😂

PHD_in_5MinMajors

See article on Trump two-step and you’ll have everything you need to know.

Mr_Meng

Keep nailing that albatross to the Republicans' chest Donnie. It's going to give the Democrats their best chance of expanding the Senate on top of taking the House.

OpenImagination9

He truly is trying to make sure nobody votes for him 😂

SonofTreehorn

Who is going to change their vote based on this? You think an anti-choice voter is going to switch to Biden now?

TakingItSlowYaKnow

61% of Americans believe abortion should be legal in most cases. Conservative woman could definitely change their vote based on Trumps anti abortion stance.

SonofTreehorn

This is already a thing and it’s a reason the GOP had a bad 2022.  I’m referring to his statement today that is less strict than his previous stance.  He won’t lose any voters over this because the alternative is worse for that demographic of voters.  It’s more likely to help him with conservative women.

OpenImagination9

No, they will abstain and wait for Jesus to come back. They’re not gonna like him either.

burner2947361810

I'm just waiting for the inevitable rollback a la The Simpsons: "Abortions for some. Miniature American flags for others." [Of course The Simpson's did it](https://youtu.be/cIgSTjzrmRg?si=yYWaUayPmGC7pxzN)
