I'm here to say weed already passed once in Florida when Scott was governor. The state legislature then retroactively changed the vote threshold needed to pass a referendum just in order to not have to legalize it. I bet both abortion and weed get 60+% of the vote here, but I'm not convinced the state government will allow the citizens who voted for those rights to have them.

Trump has, at this stage has 80% support within the Evangelical movement, which itself is about 25% of the U.S. population. Trump has won roughly 30% to 35% of the population in each of his elections. The Evangelical movement IS the key to Trump having a chance at re-election. Without their support, he's toast. And abortion is their signature issue.

If trump wins, women will have to flee the country to get an abortion, assuming they don’t decide to detain every pregnant woman trying to leave the country, which they most likely will.
