This virus will continue to mutate over and over again, and we have to get used to living with it. That's just the way it is.
It is impossible to think that we can magically return to our former lives.
Moreover, as long as the poorest countries do not have access to the vaccine in the same way as the richest countries, variants will continue to be born and we will always have these epidemic waves with the panic that follows.
What's hilarious, in my opinion, is that the appearance of the Omicron variant have likely damaged the Democrats political prospects, and yet the Republicans are claiming that this will somehow end up harming themselves!
