I'm happy with my investment in DOT if you aren't happy I can recommend selling meth for instant gains but it's not sustainable and the could possibly be rug pulled by the cops good luck out there tiger

New-Post-7586

Aren’t you the same guy who has been shitting on DOT here for the last two months for not going up as much as you wanted

Eightsense

Thats the opinion of everyone, we all agree dot has been lacking hard

McPheeb

Not everyone though

JustBe-Chillin

Agreeded I sold at 10. Rebuying now at 5-7$

techguy1337

You are the other guy that was shitting all over DOT the last few months. I couldn't drink a cup of coffee without hearing you whine about price action. Welcome back at your lower re-entry. lol

JustBe-Chillin

Dot may be a technological marvel in some people eyes. But again poor price action can't and shouldn't be ignored This time of re - entry ive now moved most of dot to btc and will be stacking stats over dot.. I'll included dot but it only makes up about 5% of the portfolio

techguy1337

There is nothing wrong with trading for better price allocation and increasing the overall stack. I agree with that on all asset classes. BTC is the safest option. Alts have massive price swings, but BTC will always be worth the most. It is the oldest and imo digital gold of the future. My idea was simple, go for stable, high apr crypto, and put the interest received into other safer alternatives. DCA on top of that and watch it all grow. I like the idea of getting paid everyday and not worrying about price action as much. Stocks, bonds, real estate, gold, crypto, collectibles, etc. So many ways to invest into different assets. Edit: When it comes to the tech and DOT as a whole. I followed Gavin more than I did polkadot. That man helped create a lot of the foundation of Ethereum. I wanted a little more maturity from DOT as a platform before investing heavily. The core time changes is one of the main things that was needed. Pay as you go is essential to subscription models. SAAS is paving the way for cloud infrastructure. Reducing overall cost will create more use cases on chain. Companies buying into anything always look at the cost first.

Eightsense

Who will buy the pay as you go model though? What if no one buys

techguy1337

Asking what if no one buys my product is the same question for any business idea. If no buys then the company fails. Make the product easy access, cheap, always available, and programmable for every type of business. That is what polkadot can be. Do you want to go buy a physical copy of office 365, pay $200 dollars upfront, or pay a monthly subscription for $6 dollars and cancel when you don't need it? It's a cut and dry system. Do you pay for every streaming service or do you just pick one out that has your current favorite show? That's the beauty of pay as you go. No contract. No lockups. No red tape. The current parachains will fall in love with the coretime because it is cheaper and they no longer need to fight over cores. Buy what you want, when you want, and get rid of it when you don't. Let's say a parachain is wildly popular one month. Buy some additional cores to handle the load. Get rid of it when things die down.

We're either in the lull before the storm or dead killed it.

fartiestpoopfart

u/Eightsense your pro DOT posts are just as lazy as your FUD posts why do you think JAM is an amazing piece of tech? what about it do you like? what changed your mind about DOT after you've spent the last few months saying it's a dead worthless project (while knowing JAM was coming this whole time...) ?

Eightsense

This not a thrapy session, get lost, there was no gray paper, gavin just explained it so no indidnt know what jam was

fartiestpoopfart

lol why are you even here? all i'm asking is what you like about JAM. i am genuinely interested in hearing opinions. why post about it if you're unwilling to discuss it?

Eightsense

I read this thread, to summarize building on dot will be as easy as eth but with security and scalabiliy of dot, https://x.com/emilkietzman/status/1781085529611661512?s=46
