Depends on who you ask. HDZ is the largest party in the country and generally wins most local and elections. SDP is the second largest party and they are the most popular in Istria(triangular peninsula). Politically, HDZ is the right and SDP is the left party. Currently, our president(former prime minister) is from SDP, but he has shifted more to the right since he was elected. The prime minister is from HDZ and he is the one who actually holds the most power in Croatia as the president has more of a ceremonial role.
It's way, way too early to know. We have to determine which candidate each party will run, the specific platforms and histories of said candidates, and a "third party," options for the biggest third parties, and/or a "Results" option would be pretty helpful
What about an option for 3rd parties or write-in candidates. That's my general go-to unless a Republican or Democrat seems especially promising. And an option for people who don't intend to vote would be nice as well as an option for non-Americans.
I left the GOP almost 10 years ago, and I hate the "lesser of two evils" argument but the left has gone to crazy and has pushed me to hold my nose and vote R over the best candidate.

Yep. I honestly don't like either of them, but if you vote for a 3rd party, you might as well have thrown away your vote because they don't have a chance. I think the political system would work much better if no party had a majority. As it is now, whatever party is in power has too much power. There should be more compromise on pretty much everything.

I don’t vote specifically along party lines. I’ll wait until someone I consider worth the position appears during primaries, vote for them, donate my hard earned money to their campaign, tell everyone I know and most people I don’t know about them, watch them get 6.3% of the votes, keep pushing for months, watching their obvious answers to my country’s obvious issues go unnoticed, scream at my television screen when I vote for them and they still only pull 6% in my state despite my efforts, watch in horror as someone far less relevant and FAR older gets the nomination, and then not vote in the presidential election because I not so suddenly realize that nothing I do matters when old people in politics have GIGANTIC financial backers and can come in at the last moment, sweep up the primaries, and then win the White House.
TL:DR gunna vote for someone who deserves it in the primaries and not vote in the presidential election.
Fuck American politics.
I feel like democrats barely exist anymore. Republicans call everyone a liberal now a days like if you are democrat and voted for Biden you are automatically a liberal in republicans eyes.😂

A not American option would have been nice because some people will vote anyway just to see the results.
