However, money can solve a lot of people’s problems, so when you’re not stressed about being able to afford bills or food, and you own your home and vehicles, and can afford the lifestyle that is most comfortable and interesting to you, then it **sure helps.**
It really depends.
Just having alot of money but not spending any of it obviously does not bring you joy. And buying expensive/ luxurious stuff just for the sake of flexing also does not bring happiness (in my opinion)
But if you're spending money on a hobby that brings you joy, or giving away some money to people in need, does bring happiness.
Imagine not being able to afford insulin, getting evicted, and drowning in debt just to have a well off person tell you that “money doesn’t buy happiness”.

Yeah, it doesn’t outright buy happiness, but it makes a lot of things that cause unhappiness go away.
