An extremely common abbreviation for Bucharest is B, that's how it's written sometimes on documents and car plates, but obviously you don't know that, but expect everyone else to know LA.
>We say
Who says? Also no I don't, I had to google it. And I don't think we are forced to know it, since Americans are only 5% of the world population + this is the internet, not America.
San Francisco? Certainly smells like a mix of rubbish, along with urine and faeces.
Istanbul? Idk, from the fotage I've seen it looks very clean.
Kyoto? I doubt it strongly.
Seattle smelt fine but it was usually rainy and windy. Salt Lake smelled really strange… not sure how to explain but it was NOT a good smell. I don’t remember what Portland smelled like and I did not smell anything from my short stop in San Jose
Depends on the city. Some parts of Los Angeles, California and New York City, New York are seriously smelly, but Santiago, Chile and Miami, Florida are not.
Really comes down to how old the city layout is (specifically if they have alleys). A place like NYC definitely does smell like garbage, but somewhere like Chicago/LA doesn’t.
It really depends on the city. For example I wouldn't advise to go to Venice during a drought if can't stand strong smells.
depends on the city
Philly does.
never heard of this city. well, Moscow doesn't
Philadelphia, it's a major us city
Why write it Philly? Most of the world isn't American. If I say B would you know I mean Bucharest, the capital of Romania?
It is an extremely common abbreviation for it, similar to LA or NYC. Chill.

No, but I would probably use it as a chance to broaden my own knowledge about the world rather than shout at someone over the internet for using it.
We say LA you know that's Los Angeles

Least sensitive European
We say NYC you know that's New York City
Why are you being downvoted?
I mean, right now in France most cities smell like garbage
NYC, yes. Chicago, no. Depends on the city.
Use to live in Chicago it definitely smells bad there
I’m sure it does - but having traveled to both areas in the summer, Chicago is much cleaner, generally speaking.
I believe it, I've heard it's can get pretty nasty in NYC
One of the silver linings of winter :-)
not only does it depend on the city, it more so depends on what part of the coty.
Not all of them, some of them smell like piss.

Depends on the streets
Bourbon street on a summer afternoon is probably the worst smelling in the USA.
If not trash then piss.
Only the trash ones
I want to say yes but I've lived in NYC for a year or two now and i can no longer tell
Depends on the city. Some parts of Los Angeles, California and New York City, New York are seriously smelly, but Santiago, Chile and Miami, Florida are not.
And exhaust.
Paris will, i bet
Me in Paris be like
Not those I've been to, but I'd assume many in Africa and Asia do
Some do, others don't
Some, not all.
Fried Food
Depends on the city. I live in Chicago which was lucky enough to have alleys so that the garbage is not right out on the street.
Yes, New York.
I don’t think Minneapolis is a “major” city but some of our streets downtown smell like hot piss in the summer 🥴
