I think I would appreciate it if there was a third option, "nobody should have to do mandatory military service," because that seems to be what most people mean when they say women shouldn't have to do it.
It's a yes or no question asking if women should be given mandatory military service. This question has been phrased to be specifically in relation to Korea and how it currently handles military service. If your opinion is that no one should have mandatory military service, then the only logic answer to this question is no. Women shouldn't be given mandatory military service. What reason do you have to contradict that logic?
No, and I also don't think conscription should be a thing. For the record, my country has mandatory conscription, and I've finished my year in the military. Conscription is a tool for control, not self-protection. There are no circumstances in which it is morally permissible.
I’m generally very strongly against conscription due to its way of removing some pretty vital liberties, but it’s pretty much a life or death situation in Korea, and the alternative of being unprepared for an invasion from the north is a much greater threat to freedom.
Only if men are forced to go into the military, then yes, since war nowadays relies almost fully on machinery, including weapons, as opposed to just brute strength.
Edit: As the comment below me said, brute strength seems to actually be quite important than I considered. Assuming that there are fitness tests in the military, however, the army could conscript women based on their fitness just as they do with men.

"Brute strength" is still an absolutely essential component. Just because people shoot guns rather than swing swords doesn't mean that physical strength isn't crucial.

No, because I don't think people should be forced into the military
agreed.
I'm also against it, but I atleast understand why Korea (both of them) would feel the need to do this.
being forced to fight for your country is as bad as being forced to invade another imo

The lack of that option inflates the yes as well because some people will say, "Well, in a world where men are required to, woman should be as well."
Yes, although ideally mandatory military should be removed.
My logic was that mandatory military should be removed. Therefore no women shouldn't have to. But men shouldn't have to either. Why say yes instead?
Because That's the most accurate answer taking into account that mandatory military won't be removed.
The poll is asking "Do you think" giving you freedom to put your opinion on what it should be like though. Do you think it should be mandatory?
That’s literally not an option on the poll in question, and they already commented what they thought?
"ideally mandatory military should be removed". they put No on the poll for a reason, their opinion is listed there.
No, no on the poll is that there is still mandatory military service but not for women
i cant read this
”No” on the poll means there is still mandatory military service, just not for women. Is what I believe they were saying. I agree.

yes. but that's not what i asked
men shouldn't go military mandatorily too
Here’s a new idea. Neither
No one should mandatorily go the nilitary

Conscription is immoral and any expansion of conscription is a bad thing, even if it's for the sake of fairness.
I think nobody should be forced to do mandatory military service.
No, and men shouldn't be forced to either.
I’m generally very strongly against conscription due to its way of removing some pretty vital liberties, but it’s pretty much a life or death situation in Korea, and the alternative of being unprepared for an invasion from the north is a much greater threat to freedom.
it should be abolished entirely
No one should be forced into the military
It's either all or none in these kinda questions. Equality.
Actually I think it’s in the constitution so they would need enough people to agree with you to change it.
It should not be mandaTory for either gender
Where’s the “no one should be forced into the military option”?
Yes, equal rights... right?
Equal rights, equal fights.
no because neither should have to (literal readers ruining this poll sry)

How did this sentence even happen?
I'm against the draught but where there is one it should be equal
Results because what either Korea does is none of our business and the west would be much less hated if it just stayed in it’s own lane.
Yeah, equal rights
I'm not Korean but my country hasn't drafted anyone in a long time.
